I am also of the opinion that PF has the ability and the mindset to sink her ship and plea. If he couldn’t allow KB to be a mother, he certainly isn’t going to tolerate KKL’s testimony putting him in lock up for life. He’s going to make sure she gets the same. He knows, or will soon know that all hope is lost and he will soon enter the gates of hell, but he’s taking her with him.
Wouldn’t his attorneys fill him in today? (if they haven’t already)

Yes, and better than -- he said El Paso County jail (Colo Springs)! PF is in Teller County Jail.
I was curious about this, too. I checked Teller County jail to see if maybe they are unable to house females except very temporarily. Without a name to search, I checked the surname letter S for a list. There was a woman booked 2/1/2015 to 2/9/2015 which still didn't answer my question about whether Teller County is simply unable to hold very many females so any female with a longer sentence goes to the larger facility in El Paso County by some agreement. That's my guess.

More interesting under letter S is some male at the top listed as "name not available" who was in jail 9/15/2016 to 9/16/2016 - as an example of CO being allowed to detain someone secretly.

These examples above have nothing to do with this case! This post is only about the jail system! MOO

..and KKL's house and in-laws.

And collateral to her death, What she has done to her children and her ex-husband etc., SMH

Hey KKL, was it worth it?

I bet her friends & family support her. They’ll blame P & her fear of him. None of this was her fault, P “made” her do it. Prisons are full, as we know & visitation days are busy with people supporting friends & family. Jmo

Frankly, IMO, if KK did find out about the murder on November 22nd and she wasn’t already in Colorado, that makes her even worse because she had a lot of safety in being 800 miles away.

She’d have a better chance selling that she was afraid for her life if she claimed that she was already in Colorado visiting when PF killed KB. At least then, the threat of danger to her would be tangible and immediate.

Then saying that she had to do as he asked, because he threatened her, would’ve been a lot more believable since he just murdered KB.

If she’s saying she was In Idaho at the time of the killing, then she made a choice to remove that 800 mile safety buffer to meet up with a confessed murderer.

Of course, that’s assuming she is telling the truth about the murder being on the 22nd. There’s certainly a lot of incentive to say that she wasn’t in town when the murder happened.

'I learned that Patrick Frazee had committed a homicide': Idaho nurse pleads guilty to moving Kelsey Berreth's cell phone
Kenney read the following statement in court: “I learned that Patrick Frazee had committed a homicide on approximately Nov. 22, 2018 in Teller County. I knew that law enforcement would be investigating that crime. I moved the victim’s cell phone with the intent to impair the phone’s availability in the investigation. I had no right or authority to move the victim’s cell phone. That occurred between Nov. 24 and Nov. 25, 2018 in Teller County."

May said he will be able to talk more about why the state chose to accept the plea deal after Frazee's preliminary hearing, which is scheduled for Feb. 19. It is not clear if Kenney will testify at that hearing.

Cheryl and Darrell Berreth, Kelsey Berreth's parents, released the following statement Friday: "The Berreths are thankful to law enforcement and the District Attorneys for continuing to diligently work on the case and bring the facts to light."

Does "move" the victim's cell phone refer to her taking it from CO to ID? Sorry, I'm not completely up to speed on the details/theory of what happened. No mention of her creating bogus texts.

That was one of the best questions the reporters asked during the press conference:

"Why did you accept her plea deal?"

He didnt answer but said its a fair question and after the 19th he may be able to answer that question. I thought he did a good job during the press conference. I have more faith now that the DA and LE has done a great job in this case. They are on top of this case.

Hope they can find KB's remains now.

I take that with a grain of salt. To me, that statement is more likely to be a precursor to, “I didn’t report anything for 3 months because I didn’t think he was actually serious about wanting her dead, until he actually killed her”.

Then of course she follows up with the claim that she only disposed of the phone because he threatened her kids, and of course she had no choice but to help him and keep quiet. After all, he just killed KB.

Self-preservation is her MO in my opinion, not being of any help to anyone else.
I think we are all verily representative of how a JURY is going to respond to such NONSENSE. Such as this: Wait, she knew he killed her on Thanksgiving? May you re-read the part that says she told no one but knew a missing person's search was announced. Let me get this straight, she has an on again/ off again relationship with this guy and even participates by taking the phone and she isn't on trial? All that I can say is she must REALLY have some good information to provide.

I'm struck by the very careful wording of her statement.

Not "PF told me...." but "I learned that PF...".

As Julia966 noted, she "moved the phone" to "impair its availability".

Perhaps moving evidence to hide it from the investigation is a lesser crime than destroying evidence.

interesting. so she was stopped in nov 2018. i would imagine that was an interesting/scary stop if around the time of her adventures in CO.
It was November 6th. Probably should have put the day.

That's my understanding. And nope, we still don't know for a fact whether or not she sent the texts.

Hmmmm.... Ok. Well, I hope they go for the death penalty and hey, a governor isn’t governor forever. Just sitting on death row for awhile could be worth it. But you are likely correct.
Yup, the former Gov could only get as far as moratorium-- but new Gov now has control of the house. I predict it's abolished by May - June.

What the heck is someone doing driving without insurance, driving without a license, driving with an expired license, or what all else? What’s up with this girl? Does she feel entitled or what?

It even ticked me of the Berreths said they were “grateful” regarding KK. I get why, but grrr.
The Berreths have been the absolute definition of class and grace through this whole process. I would have lost my *shugar*.

No one is happy that KK is going to get off light here.

That being said, I definitely get the impression that we will have a different perspective, come the 19th.

Those who are outraged may find that tempered a bit, especially as we get a clearer picture as to how this all went down.

It’s quite possible that she wasn’t involved to the extent that we think she may be, and her contributions to this investigation may have been profound.

It won’t make her any better a person, but maybe less of a criminal.

Dare I say it's a general "the government isn't gonna tell me what to do" mentality. If you do any sleuthing on her you'll understand that.

It reminded me of how the Amish community reached out to the family of the murderer who killed so many children in that horrific mass murder. They were loving and forgiving. An example to us all. JMO

Yeah, I'm assuming the jury will hate her. I just hope they believe her.
