I always cringe a little bit when people judge women based on their hair and makeup.

Our verified attorneys said court room appearance is an important consideration. I've commented on her appearance in that frame of mind, not in judgement of her. Although I do judge her... harshly.

Right. Sorry if this is offending you. I certainly don’t want to offer up photos of myself on my best day for criticism, I am certain there are many different ways that I could improve my appearance. I get it.

Eventhough there is no jury in this case, I am offering an opinion on the legal strategy of her appearance in the courtroom. To me, KKL looked more like a TV villain than the innocent first-time offender that had been described in the objection to Expanded Media Coverage.

We’ve all seen the schoolmarm courtroom makeovers and whatever the heck the Aurora theater shooter had going on during his trial. Ack. I just really expected something different today. That is all.

MOO!

This is all B.S. language. Your boyfriend lover creep gave you a dead woman's phone that he murdered and asked you to drive 824 miles and send messages to alibi him so he wouldn't get caught for killing her. Congratulations, you win what you thought was going to be a wonderful relationship by ending her life.

I want to see the jury's faces when she says this on the stand. Guaranteed side-eye.

Where is Kelsey? Who cleaned up the murder scene, where are murder weapon/s? Who else is involved? She better tell everything she knows, everything she did. Or that aggravation charge the prosecution mentioned might hit her hard.
MOO.

PF will request that his Defence team will ask KK questions: Where were you on 'such and such' a day? What did you do then?
PF possibly has evidence implicating KK's involvement to be far more than she has admitted in today's session.
More 'happy days' to come for KK.
Watching this unravel will be a treat, and both certainly will turn on one another.
Both will find their evil actions exposed.
MOO.

District attorney says KL can't break their "agreement." So, there is an agreement. Is this an indicator of a plea deal?
In Colorado, any plea that is entered in the manner that she did is binding, and unbreakable. She can't back out now. That's all he is saying. IMO

What the heck is someone doing driving without insurance, driving without a license, driving with an expired license, or what all else? What’s up with this girl? Does she feel entitled or what?

Well, she may "travel" instead of drive. And in (especially on the left side of the US) be within her freedom rights to be without license and insurance. NOTE: I do not believe in sovereignty, but i do believe in the word "hogwash"!
Slightly OT...PLEASE delete if not proper.

Now I’m mad. I’m getting old but I still cannot fathom a woman helping a man take out another woman and mother. So very mad with today’s hearing. I’m sure we all are.
I’m sorry Kelsey that this happened to you and your baby girl. I’m sorry this 🤬🤬🤬 lady didn’t have your back Kelsey!!
could not have stated it better myself. thank you.

Do we know what time the texts were sent? Maybe PF sent them right before KK "moved" the phone?

No, the texts were sent on 11/25. She was in ID.

She said she knew he committed a homicide and yet she took that phone back to Idaho instead of the police! WOW pathetic woman.

ABC
Lee had been employed as a nurse at St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls, Idaho. But on Monday, hospital spokeswoman Michelle Bartlome told ABC News that "an individual by that name no longer works at the hospital." In January, hospital officials said Lee was on a leave of absence.

Woman pleads guilty to moving missing mom Kelsey Berreth's phone
Right, this is the one I remember. So, not "hours." At the very least, days, but who knows how long ago she was actually terminated.

Is RadarOnline the only one reporting this? (That her "plea comes hours after confirmation that she had been fired?") I remember another report within the last week or so that she was no longer employed by the hospital. Hmmm...
Idaho Nurse Pleads Guilty To Evidence Tampering In Missing Colorado Mom’s Case
Oh I get it - Radar is reporting that KKL was FIRED, not just that she was "no longer employed" as previously reported. Interesting. She had been on administrative leave. I would think an RN employment contract includes clauses about off duty behavior bringing embarrassment to the hospital, or questions about moral turpitude.

Those texts came Sunday afternoon, from Idaho. She had to be the one that sent them.
The texts were sent in the afternoon? Or did you mean to say there was a ping in the afternoon? I haven't heard anything about the ping being the time the texts were sent. Am I losin' it? Is there a link?

I am glad that she is talking and hopefully it will mean a faster resolution in his case.

I’m not sympathetic to her, but I’m sad that anyone could decide to throw a future (and perhaps family) away for a guy, and be so callous before and after the murder.

I still feel KK’s involvement is deeper than what has been revealed.

I’m in the camp that hopes PF’s family doesn’t get custody or even visitation of the baby (unless perhaps it is supervised in a public place).

All MOO
I agree with you. KK said she knew that the victim would be tracked by her phone so she took it with her to ID. That doesn't sound like a threat from PF, that sounds like a complicit girlfriend helping her boyfriend clean up his mess.

I've no doubt she was fired, and understandably so. I was questioning the part about hours prior to her plea. That's not accurate.

There was a very brief statement when she (just reference as a nurse) was asked by the FBI to leave her job. It was probably a local paper to Magic Valley when the FBI was intensifying their presence. Much later all the LOA and termination came out. To my estimate, she would not have been working since the beginning of December or earlier. Don't ask me to find it; it was very early on.

Was KKL actually arrested yesterday, turned herself in? I am wondering about releasing that mugshot or was it just a photograph. She was not detained in their facility, so they could have just retained the photo for the case file. Releasing it this morning while she was appearing in court, where she would be photographed by the press anyway, seems like kind of a dig at KKL. Her lawyer failed to request a block to the mugshot release, so LE put it out on Twitter maybe as a hint about what they think of her.
No arrest/booking has been somewhat confusing but was best explained by DA May's at the presser:

For felony tampering charge, Colorado provides that defendant can answer to a "Summons," and KK never arrested.

However, KK was required to submit to finger printing and photograph.

Pursuant to the request of Woodland Park Police Dept, and the DA's Office, KK's photo was released to the media. Also, in Colorado, I don't believe her attorney's could block this request.

IMO, back in Sept to Nov, and especially when KB died, KK knew and DID NOT DO THE RIGHT THING. That is inexusable.

I always cringe a little bit when people judge women based on their hair and makeup.
I think the point is she gives the defense reasonable doubt. I still think it is a strong case but there is NO way KK is not the defense's key weapon against the prosecution so her appearance is important and it needs to be as soft as a kitten.

She may have been a rodeo queen, but she hasn't aged well.

Here's what I have in the timeline regarding the texts:
November 25th - Sunday
  • Text from KB’s phone to her employer
  • KB's phone pinged in Gooding, ID (5:13 pm)
  • PF received text from KB’s phone
