No, Colorado does not allow for this.

I was surprised that some states actually do allow that, several actually.

Arizona does. Good times with CA answering those questions...

After looking at the video did anyone else think KK kind of looked pregnant? That said, it could have just been the camera angle or the manner in which she was holding her coat in front of her. It is also very possible I am delirious as the kids are home due to a "snow day" :)
I, too, was wondering, but her profile in the back door entry to the courthouse didn't show a 190lb pregnant woman silhouette IMO. That said, she was rather broad beamed in the seating inside the courtroom and kept gathering her jacket in front of her.

My hope is that the reason so much time elapsed between the time we first learned about KK and today is because the prosecution was considering all possible angles the PF’s defense team might try to establish reasonable doubt by blaming KK. And that by now they feel they have answers and responses to any attempts.
I hope so, but it’s awful that she will probably get so little punishment. I guess sometimes you have to make a deal with a demon to get the devil.

I don’t think KK will hold up on the witness stand!

Sitting up there, having to look at her idealized lover who has deceived her as to who he is and caused her so much pain as well as ruined her life, will be more than she can take.

Also, the defense lawyer will treat her in the worst possible manner he can get by with, as well as doubting every word she says. He will put her under such pressure she will find it difficult to remember the exact details.

Going along with all this, PF will have told his attorney the story he wants where KK is involved with the murder.

We are in for the trial of the century. He said, she said. KK took a plea as she knew it was her best chance to avoid a long jail sentence.

*This is all my opinion only.*

She wasn't deceived. He solicited her to kill someone and she still remained involved with him an didn't bother to stop an impending murder. She's cut from the same cloth as he is. It wouldn't surprise if she knows how Kelsey's body was disposed. But, hey, she only impersonated a murder victim, took her phone across state lines, impeded a timely investigation and was - AT LEAST - an accessory after the fact.

I think PF won’t have much opportunity to do what you suggest. Here is why.

At some point on the 22nd, KB’s normal activities stopped, because her life ended. So the normal electronic fingerprints of a living person using her phone, data, etc stopped.

Meanwhile KKL is likely still in Idaho on the 22nd, doing normal things and leaving electronic fingerprints, as well as people seeing her and interacting.

PF will have his own electronic fingerprints that, unless he is smarter than I think, he was unable to erase.

Remember, the police chief or the DA once said that the story of this case was going to come down to the phones. All three of them. And I predict they will prove that KKL could not have killed KB, thus eliminating PF from trying that defense.

I agree with this.

Funny, I'm hoping she CAN'T handle cross examination by defence attorneys :)
One thing for sure she can't hide behind that coat the rest of her life.

BBM:
She has caused her own pain by agreeing to tamper with evidence in a murder case, and in doing so has ruined her own life as she knows it.

She could have said NO, and gone to the police.

She's made her own bed, now she has to lie in it.

I have zero sympathy for a woman who could have saved another woman's life if she had decent morals.

It's been brought up a bit on past pages. JMO, No, she suffers from a tad weight problem. Look at her upper arms.

I always cringe a little bit when people judge women based on their hair and makeup.
I don’t think women are judged in the same context in a criminal case such as this verses judging a woman in social situations. In a criminal situation it can change perceptions. JodiA looked and acted differently as her involvement and trial progressed.

KKL was probably dressed and dolled up considerably more in this proceeding, because it was done deal. I am sure when she testifies and/or appears for her sentence her make up will be minimal, dirty blonde hair in pig tails, glasses, and dressed in faded matronly clothing. Part of the “act” is to appear afraid, young and dumb, naive, helpless. That’s just the way it works. She has to dress the part to “get” the job.

Then why didn’t she have to plead guilty to that too? If KK is as confused as I am about all these legalities she’s bound to screw up and may end up in jail after all. Moo

Great minds do think alike!

I am also of the opinion that PF has the ability and the mindset to sink her ship and plea. If he couldn’t allow KB to be a mother, he certainly isn’t going to tolerate KKL’s testimony putting him in lock up for life. He’s going to make sure she gets the same. He knows, or will soon know that all hope is lost and he will soon enter the gates of hell, but he’s taking her with him.
I agree.
He's a bully and a control freak, and will do everything he can to take her down with him, even if it doesn't hold up.
He'll try to harm her reputation as much as possible.

I got the impression she was clutching at her coat as a subconscious defense mechanism.
Her face looked puffy and bloated, but I think its probably from crying the night before court.
I don't think she's pregnant, she weighs an ample amount for her short height.

What the heck is someone doing driving without insurance, driving without a license, driving with an expired license, or what all else? What’s up with this girl? Does she feel entitled or what?

She sounds irresponsible and reckless, as we have clearly seen...

Can you tell me what the press asked around 13:45. My hearing isn't the best.

ok, i'm in left field this afternoon but all the comments of KK maybe being pregnant got me thinking if she is and the fetus proves to be PF & KK unborn and they decide to get married soon, how would Marital privilege play into this case? for the life of me i can not pin down the implications. would that mean neither could be required to testify against the other?

They asked about KK's demeanor. How her demeanor has been.
