Can you imagine the station manager in that situation!

The people that were supposed to do the pool camera for a nationally televised situation where they were responsible, did not get there early enough and were late because of the weather and or traffic.

I'm sure they were called down severely. Moo.

By not only their station managers, but all of the other media. And every single person that was trying to do a live view. Because they were the people that should have set up for each individual microphone to go into the pool microphone, just not the microphone that was with the camera in my opinion.

I have been thinking the same thing. Huge fail. Womp, womp. I didn’t see the morning weather or traffic reports on Friday, but Monument hill is always tough in the winter and construction on 25 south is just awful. That was awful planning.

The Denver7 team would have been going opposite rush hour traffic most of the way, but with the I-25 Gap construction and dealing with Monument hill, I am surprised they did not leave in the wee hours of the morning or head down the night before.

They are the Denver ABC station, so I am also betting ABC reporter Clayton Sandell wasn’t very happy about it either. He has been all over this story.

I thought coming into the courtroom she looked pregnant. Weight seems to be in front. When she was standing from behind, she did not look so overweight. She had that bulky coat in front of her at all times and her attorney seemed to try to block any view of her. Almost looked like a bodyguard,
she is 180 lbs. I don't think she is pregnant. She looks the same to me as the more recent pics. I could be wrong, but I think she's just big and that's where she carries it for the most part. Not trying to bash her appearance..just saying what it is.
I will however, bash her character...of which she has none.

Do you have a link?

Sorry, I don't save the links. But I think pommy and some others do because a lot of others have talked about her weight and her height is 5 foot 3.

Are you implying that if people have a God in their life then they don't do unconscionable things?
We certainly know that's not true! The Pruitt case is one example. There are many others.

The height sounds like what I remember.

Believe it or not, it's stated in her Complaint, pg 4/4, filed with the court on 2/4/19.

I do recall the height/weight thing, but when they booked her in, it should also indicate if she is pregnant or not (if known - if I’m not mistaken - any officers here verify?) which is why I’m looking for the whole sheet.

The part that bothers me the most is the “phone in” appearance. I can’t imagine the prosecution agreeing to make her life so easy without a darn good reason.

However you slice it, if she is pregnant, the baby she is carrying is totally innocent and I hope for it’s safety, security and well being if it’s true.

I think the human ideal of God makes any number of people turn into abhorrent, evil, nasty minded monsters who view hate as a decent moral standard.

The appearance shaming is petty and disappointing. If I wanted to read trash, well, Facebook is full of it. Her being of questionable character does not make her look different. Furthermore, it's very poor teaching that the monsters of society should look lesser or poorly. Most look very much like Joe and Jane Smith down the road. Saying that monsters look different and less than ideal means people not only ignore the real evil, but shun those who aren't the physical ideal despite being good, decent individuals.

Does anyone know who told Patrick to get a lawyer when Kelsey was reported missing

Who knows, but it was probably a fairly smart thing to do. The significant other is always the first person examined after a murder or missing persons case. He has people around him who are involved in law-enforcement and they may have encouraged him to do that. It screams “guilty“ sometimes but even an innocent person might make that choice (and no, I don’t think PF is innocent).

I have more of a problem with his lack of help and support during vigils and press conferences. To me, that did scream “guilty.”

One more good reason to stay out of trouble. The whole world will know your body mass index.:eek::eek:

Do we have evidence whether KK is paying for her Lawyers, or are they pro bono?
Would this be public knowledge?
It would be great if she does pay, rather than the 'free' ride that PF has.
MOO.

I wouldn't be surprised if SF got the first lawyer. I think it's quite likely that SF and possibly PF would have talked to the family members in LE, if only for advice. Some of that advice would probably be to keep his mouth shut and to lawyer up if he felt pressured. If he was claiming innocence and they believed him or wanted to believe him, they would have wanted to ensure he got the best legal representation to head off false charges.

I read somewhere in 'the media' that SF has been 100% supportive, even though she hasn't said a word. She shows up at every hearing. That seemed a remarkably silly thing to say. Even if she believes(d) in his innocence, she's going to want to hear what he's accused of, what evidence they have - and how he accounts for that evidence. We don't know if she's supporting him or her worst fears have happened.

Completely gratuitous comment on PF's appearance, although I think it may go to one aspect of his character: that dippy hairdo.

I think underneath he has the same receding hairline as CW but he can't embrace it because he thinks it will make him look 'old'. Instead, he combs his hair straight forward. I don't think he's going to accept getting old gracefully. Perhaps living with his mother all these years in relative isolation much of the time has led him to get developmentally stalled. He's still a young 'un and in his mind, always will be.

I think PF's lawyers are going roast her on the stand like a pig on a spit. This is what the plea deal really is. She will pay for her crimes by having to say things in public that will be out there eternally. These will be things that should have sent her to prison for the rest of her good years, but maybe that's the price to undo PF's story.

I really, really hope she has long, ugly, televised hours in front of the public

As long as he gets convicted in the process, I hope so too.
