I remember someone many threads back suggesting that PF could have made those texts (controlled her phone) remotely online. I wonder if there was some truth too when he told her mom he didn't have the password?! I bet he did all along.

Wow.... it's been hard for me to keep up the past few days/ weeks but I am encouraged to see the recent posts/documents coming out from CB and the information she and DB have put forth in their case against PF... REALLY.....He had her keys and her gun in his procession at the time???? Trying to clear my calendar for the 19th..... disappointed it won't be covered live from the courtroom but encouraged to hear SK will live tweet things.

And for @Artis .... careful when you post ..... "we are" .....being raised a Philly girl who bleeds green for my NFL team... I also stop in my tracks when I see the words "we are".... and say "Penn State".....LOL

Absolutely! And emotional abuse is worse than physical abuse in many ways.

I was trying to point out a particular kind of mindgame and manipulation in my post: Projection. Being tuned in to this abuse tactic is so effective when working with these people. It helps get to the bottomline of the “what, how, who,when, why?” Listen to what they say, but conceptualize in opposite way.

Serious question: has there ever been research into the relationships these manipulators have with their mothers? Shouldn't there be and law enforcement and Child Protective Services better trained to pick up on the tactic?

I ask because there always seems to be three people in these relationships which turn so toxic they result in murder. And it seems to be happening more frequently. I know a young woman who gave her husband full custody because she thought his mother would kill her if she didn't. Now, the former MIL is abusing the children and the father refuses to intervene. It's very sad to see such dysfunction and not be able to do anything about it.

Westcliffe is the county seat of Custer County, which most Coloradans have never heard of, and it's the cultural center of the Wet Mountain Valley, which is famous for..........uh......mountains.
If PF checked on his cattle near Guffey on the way back, it's a 118 mile drive. IMO

Apparently he really said KB had text him on Nov 25th.... not sure he ever said they had spoken.... either way...appears it's BS!

Exactly. She was already in a town where she was an outsider, and he was the “local boy”. It would’ve been quite easy for him to turn most people against her. And who knows if she knew that he was doing that, or if she was completely unaware.

I don't think she was part of his world in Florissant. While some may have met Kelsey, I doubt it was often or than any of PF's circle knew her. They'd be likely to believe whatever he said about her, imo. They're his friends and associates, not hers.

Maybe he had it for several months.( Like since September.) He could have told her he needed it for some reason or another and then held onto it. Imo

Maybe he solicited a person or persons to kill her with her own gun and then he could lead LE to believe she was suicidal if her body had been found right away.

What if they found her body at a landfill? He couldn't explain how she transported herself there after killing herself.

I'm not convinced she is in a landfill. I'm thinking she was left in woods or somewhere.

I remember, too. Now we have a court document and MSM reports so we can talk about this. Clearly, there were people who believed PF's load of bovine excrement.

I wasn't here for the earlier parts of this thread but saw mention of people actually signing up here to trash her. Is that the kind of stuff they were saying?

Yeah, but then he would need to leave a body, otherwise the manner of death wouldn't matter. Faking a suicide isn't as easy - I would guess many if not most perps get caught. Giving the day he picked (a holiday) and the fact that KK was coming to visit, I think he was going for "Kelsey left for Idaho" scenario from the start.

Interesting... KK’s attorney was the same attorney who obtained a not-guilty verdict in the Tom Fallis case - setting reasonable doubt that he didn’t kill his wife, but that she had instead committed suicide.

Correct. It was as if they were copying from that damn list.

ETA: I looked at the court filing, and 8 of the documented lies (rehab, ran off, etc) were either directly mentioned, or alluded to by atleast one person closely related to PF.
