See PommyMommy’s post #841.*BIG eye roll*I hope that the defense doesn't do too much victim bashing but if they do I can't imagine it would help with the jury very much. More so hurt them hopefully, if they tried that. I think they will turn on KK myself. moo
Just argggg makes me sickCourt filing reveals possible motive for Kelsey Berreth killing; friends saw Patrick Frazee as doting father and hard-working rancher
Friends and acquaintances of Patrick Frazee describe the man they know as a hard-working rancher, farrier, and horse trainer who lived on his family’s 35-acre property in Florissant. Some speak of him as an average Joe while others as a caring father who would help anyone.
“He was a nice guy,” said Tim Graf, co-owner of Blue Mountain Ranch, a youth summer camp in Florissant. Graf was in the same graduating class of 2004 at Woodland Park High School as Frazee.
So it was with shock and disbelief that some in the community registered the arrest of Frazee on Dec. 21 on suspicion of murdering his fiancee, Kelsey Berreth, the mother of the couple's 1-year-old daughter.
Going back the decade-and-a-half to high school days, those who knew Frazee then said he hung out with other kids from the rural part of the county, was involved in the 4-H crowd, and was an average, unassuming teen.
“A quiet guy was all I ever knew,” said another classmate.
There have been “no issues” with Frazee in the Teller County jail, said Sheriff’s Office Cmdr. Greg Couch, adding that Frazee likely will remain jailed in Divide after Tuesday's hearing.
Frazee helped Gilda Dellinger move her horse from Divide to Colorado Springs when she relocated to a new home.
She said she’s known Frazee for 20 years and would never have believed he could kill someone.
“He’s always been so kind and helpful,” she told The Gazette after attending Frazee’s hearing in January, one of several Frazee supporters at the courthouse in Cripple Creek.
Cline blames the media for spreading inaccurate information since Berreth’s disappearance hit national news as a missing person case in early December. He said the media has incorrectly portrayed Frazee as a bad guy.
“I’m shocked and annoyed at how people are acting,” he said. “There’s been no evidence presented so far. He’s an all-around nice guy, and a good dad.”
Contrary to what has been reported, Cline said Frazee was the primary caretaker of the couple's baby, Kaylee, who is now about 16 months old.
“He’s been raising the little girl since she was born,” Cline said. “Kelsey (Berreth) had visitation, and he had custody.”

That's the word, prejudicial influence on the criminal proceedings. This is why such lawsuits usually follow the criminal trial. The amended complaint contains excessive details not necessary for a basic filing. IMOBut why would they come out with this right now, before the hearing on the 19th? Isn’t that prejudicial against PF? I know we don’t care but the judge might.
How the actual fack can they still say that after all that came out this week it may not of been much but it was definitive . I may not like idahos plea deal but it sinks pf yet the good ole boy network doesn't seem to get itCourt filing reveals possible motive for Kelsey Berreth killing; friends saw Patrick Frazee as doting father and hard-working rancher

I wouldn't trust that scumbags view on anything PF. How can this fool justify PF and KK's actions? For those that did not believe that the custody was the motive,
"“He’s been raising the little girl since she was born,” Cline said. “Kelsey (Berreth) had visitation, and he had custody.”
.. that pretty much sums it up his viewpoint for motive.
Moo
This is the stupidest insult to the memory of a mother ever recorded in history.Maybe this guy Cline ought to be investigated.
Yep just pmo hopefully Tuesday alot more comes out with evidence the good ole boys can't explain away . Lady justice needs b**** slap themSmall towns thataways, the peeps stick together tightly no matter what. It's like an unspoken code.
Was not this part of the statement KK read to the judge?
No. KK stated that she learned of the murder. She did not state that it was PF who told her. Just me, but I wonder if there was a third party involved, primarily in the robbery and/or body disposal phase. KK's statement may have been worded to crack this third party. Was not this part of the statement KK read to the judge?
Agree. This fool is trying to justify why PF murdered her with this garbage. What, the court system wasn't good enough for PF to get full custody? Waste of his time, let's just kill her off instead and make up stories about her mental health so people think she took off? Oh and let's bring KK into this, I'm sure she'll be happy to help me get rid of Kelsey's cell phone so that I can have full custody of the baby. Yeah, ok, Cline- perhaps another warrant in the future might be coming. This is the stupidest insult to the memory of a mother ever recorded in history.
Well I guess he didn't know shi* then did he?!! JEBUS.For those that did not believe that the custody was the motive,

Well if she was there waiting for the deed to be done. She sure does dance around a lot of issues.I can't imagine how else KK would have "learned" about it had PF not told her.
I agree the DA was aware of all of what CB knew just by proxy, but my question was more of couldIt would be foolish to believe that the DA didn't already have this information!
Had the criminal charging docs been released this week, we very well may have learned about it first from the criminal court.
Thanks for your reply. Glad I don't have to pay you and our other hardworking Attorneys a retainer.I think it’s possible the civil suit will be stayed pending outcome of the criminal trial. Because PF has a 5th A right against self incrimination, he cannot be forced to testify in a civil suit if it will set him up for criminal culpability.
Having said that, federal law allows for juries to infer from a defendant’s refusal to answer questions in a civil suit. This means the jury in PFs civil case could infer his guilt from the refusal.to testify. But that does not apply to criminal trials. So there’s a predicament there obviously, if the trials are running concurrently.
Time will tell.
Well I guess he didn't know shi* then did he?!! JEBUS.
In his statements to CB, he said KB often turns the phone off when baby is sleeping or she is studying. This implies to me, that the baby’s home was with KB.Court filing reveals possible motive for Kelsey Berreth killing; friends saw Patrick Frazee as doting father and hard-working rancher
