Officer asked him when he last got a text from Kelsey. He says it was the 25th. “We texted that morning,” he says. And he said he got a message on the Friday after that her “telephone expired.” @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee

and interesting he is laying the groundwork for "sanity" - why tell the officers she was sane? I think the whole conversation from him sounds like it was scripted with a female's involvement IMO.
