If he was involved, seems ridiculous to hide evidence on their property given how much time has passed.

Nevertheless, I know similar searches in other cases have turned up plenty.

True, but we have to factor in stress, clouded thinking, and panic into the decision making. Like Chris Watts dumping them at a site where he worked...not the smartest move

Hmmm so he is there and perhaps they did not need to cut the locks if there was cooperation??? JMO
I think there must be different interpretations of the word "cooperation" going on in this case. LOL
MOO

I’d feel better if the baby were with someone else.
I suspect LE has an officer there that could handle that situation should it arise - I know they have a specific name or perhaps social services, CPS? just in case?

He's not the property owner, thus can't be the one to give permission.

Agree here (though maybe the phone was on , I don’t think they have released information on if it pinged elsewhere?) I don’t know many people that don’t password protect their phones. Someone would have needed to know the password.
I don't have password protect on my phone, and I don't lock it.

UPDATE: Teller County Sheriff's deputies have officially executed the search warrant on Patrick Frazee's home in Florissant. He's the fiance of missing Mom, Kelsey Berreth. A source tells me Patrick is on scene but not under arrest. @FOX21News

@Gardener1850

Good he is there. I predict the body cam footage released from this search is going to be very revealing. MOO.

Thermal imaging will only be a benefit at this time if they believe someone is alive or they are searching for a suspect that is hiding. Otherwise, it will not help. In most cases, a deceased person's body temp is the same as the surroundings fairly quickly.

A living human would light up thermal imaging in the Colorado cold.

However, all that is needed here is a slight thermal color variation against the cold ground to find a location worth investigating. There may be false readings as well. Most useful late at night without sunlight heating objects, and after heated objects cool. I have a compost pile for my garden that steams in the winter because of the heat of decomposition.

Lol. I'm sure the lawyer can spin it as -- "My client would have cooperated and unlocked the gate had he only been given more advanced notice".

Looking at this timeline again, could be that something in what PF said to CB reassured her enough to make her wait until 2 Dec to phone LE.

I’m assuming someone else will have chimed in somewhere further along this thread (I’m still reading), but it was misreported that CB called PF on the 11/25. Official timelines state that CB did not call until 12/2. I believe @Kelsey's Aunt has also clarified this. So, I know it’s a pain, but can all of these comments making reference to Kelsey’s mom calling PF on 11/25 be deleted, so that this misinformation doesn’t keep getting repeated? CB called PF on the 12/2 and learned PF had last heard from KB via text on 11/25.

Thank you. I know there has been much confusion over this since inaccurate media posts are still on the site.

I wonder if they got one for his phone, since he gave consent to search it

Count on it. If not yet, they certainly will.

Maybe he didn’t pick up the child from her townhouse. Maybe he came to her townhouse sometime after Safeway, they all left and went to his house together, and Kelsey never ‘left’ his house again.

My answers in blue:

I agree with your observations, MANY giant red flags waving here.

ETA: And now they are searching PF's property!

(Breaking news I had not yet seen when all the above answers were posted)

I really appreciate all your detailed answers. Very interesting. Another scary and sad case.

A couple of logistics questions. How much lead time or is there any lead time given to him or his attorney about the search? Is everything owned by his mom or would they need additional warrants for his trucks/cars/personal belongings?
