I don’t think in Websleuths terms, that he is though

Yeah because I think it's a legal issue maybe. Because we can sleuth a suspect. But if we sleuth someone who hadn't been named so by LE, and we discuss our findings publicly on this site, it could open Websleuths up to liability, possibly.

That's looks like nice house and it's bigger than I expected for some reason I assumed there wouldn't be room for a family of 3 and mom to live together. Of course haven't seen the layout just looking at the live feed and photos.

Listen at the 10:30 second mark. Who is Shane? What did these 2 guys, "do again" and who or what are they fooling. Then the one reminds the other to shhhhh because the mics are hot. (KKTV video so I believe this is allowed)

Not necessarily. One of the biggest things the FBI does is assist local agencies with investigations. They can provide expertise in various areas and trained personnel and the use of their crime labs. But its not an FBI investigation in its own right. In essence, they are working for the Teller County Sheriff's Office since that is the agency with jurisdiction here. Now, if there is a suggestion that a kidnapping has crossed state lines, there can be federal jurisdiction. But I don't get the feeling that is what is the basis for the FBI's presence here.

Yeah. We used to have a good link explaining how and when they can get involved in assisting with state investigations. I know for one any state agency can ask for assistance and will receive it when a child is missing. Regardless as to whether any federal crimes are implicated.

There has got to be something that is bringing LE to search PF’s home/property—not just gee we might as well search here I guess.
The FBI does not play.

He is either arrested or is going to cooperate willingly - I can't think of another reason for him to be leaving the property inside a LE vehicle and not driving his own IMO

My initial thought was he's being taken in for questioning, but why would the baby be going along?

For me the main issues are he was supposed to have dinner with her for Thanksgiving, she obviously never showed up and he didn't alert anyone? This responsible young mother who apparently never leaves without notice, his fiancé and the mother of his baby and he's not concerned enough to notify police or even family?

Second issue, he's not allowing grandma to visit the baby.

Those things plus he was the last person we know of to see her alive when they exchanged the child and there's no proof she was alive after that, pretty big target on the guy.

I didn’t think either of those were confirmed, but I’d agree if they are factual

What is going on in front of that white vehicle? Are people kneeling on the ground?

At the lower right corner of photo, are those two people kneeling? One male, one female? Hmmm

Looks like squatting to me. Like they're looking at something (a paper) together. Or just talking.

To pass her off to other family?

If he was arrested, I think they’d remove the baby from him to ensure he couldn’t threaten or harm her?

<mod fix quote>
(sorry about the crummy quoting...)

Kelsey owns a 2-bedroom house (way bigger than my 80-square-foot bathroom, but thanks for assuming!). I'm not sure how you know she didn't have room for multiple suitcases - have you been in the house?

My point is that if she lived alone, no one would really know whether stuff was missing or not. I wasn't saying she packed up and left, because I don't think she did. Just that relying on an out-of-state relative to tell you that nothing is missing from her house doesn't sound like fabulous police procedure.

KB’s home is 742 sqft

I believe his parents may also live there? They definitely own it, if not live there

MOD NOTE

I spoke to @Tricia and we will allow sleuthing of PF. Please use his initials when referring to him. Don't outright accuse him of murder on the thread. It's obvious LE is looking at him and is interested in him. So, we are using common sense and allowing PF to be sleuthed at this time. Of course this is subject to change if PF is publicly cleared by LE.

I doubt the baby would be going with him if he was arrested.
