I notice the dynamic duo was sharp in certain areas and not so much in other areas...
To me that shows duality in planning and execution.

Exactly. A phone does not mean a person as these two have demonstrated with switching phones and use of burner phones. I would look for photographic confirmation of her in every traffic camera possible.

Oh, she was so Sly by getting a rental car and borrowing a car each time.

It's too bad the neighboring camera picked up neither PF hauling out a tote nor KK bringing cleaning supplies and bags in and out. Unless it did and the DA is saving it for later.

I'd have to believe it did, but yes, something they're saving for trial I'd bet.

The whole timing with PF on that day has driven me nuts. I know that the DA will walk us though each step soon (I hope)

thing i've been thinking about is i'd expect if KK did the murder that PF would certainly know about it and would have from the beginning cracked and began pointing fingers at KK very convincingly. why would PF remain silent and let KK and LE "railroad" him?
They had a plan. Kk didn’t stick with it. She railroaded him.

I wonder if part of KK’s plea deal includes her being put into the witness protection program once the trial and etc. is complete. New name, new hometown, new job.

I just wanted to add:

If the state thought there was any possibility of KK murdering KB there would not be this kind of deal IMO

The state Likely has more evidence that we haven't seen yet that excludes KK from being the actual killer.

The state knows who had the main motive to want KB dead. Interviews with friends of the victim, family etc. included

The State likely absolutely hates that they had to make this deal and I think they obviously feel it was necessary to get a conviction against PF

By PF lying about his activities on the day PF went missing, it directly linked him to the crime IE the neighbors video of him arriving back at KB condo when he said he was not there after exchanging his daughter.

KB was never seen or heard from again after PF left the condo that day.

Is their any evidence whatsoever that KK was actually at KB condo the day she went missing. I'm all for being open to devils advocate theories, But I do need some facts to be able to have a rational discussion about it.

I wonder how PF is spending his time in prison.
He and CW are two peas in a pod.

I'd sure as heck be wishing I bought another one of those totes for my cowboy sweet heart.
Silly, silly man to underestimate the sacred sense of loyalty when the other person might be looking at an accomplice to murder charge - or, after the fact. ( IIRC, that's what was mentioned she should/could have been charged with?)
At any rate, it still makes him look like an imbecile for even thinking she wouldn't spill her guts.

I'm still trying to make sense of the "she still loves him" comment PF's lawyer said. Is that supposed to infer she's gonna change her mind at the trial?

There have been several posts asking these two questions...

Why was KKL given this plea deal and could she receive more charges? Here are the answers to both...

“We wouldn’t even know where the murder happened in the apartment even, which room or where it happened at all, without her testimony,” said Dan May, district attorney for Colorado’s Fourth Judicial District.

Because the judge already accepted the plea deal, she won’t face any more charges, McDivitt said. The only way that deal could be tossed is if Kenney doesn’t uphold her end of the bargain.

JMO...I think KKL is an awful, awful person, but without her they couldn't have arrested PF, and hopefully a conviction. I believe PF manipulated KKL knowing she would help him and she did it for her own agenda. I don't believe PF had any intentions of continuing a relationship with KKL...and she knew it. Her admission of how she intentionally let KB's phone ping in Idaho and leaving blood evidence at her condo to alert authorities was only for her own benefit as she thought PF would try to pin the murder on her if they were caught.

Ha! I know a woman who lives with the husband she divorced, and his new wife.

Apparently it’s a thing.

Maybe you should consider becoming a VI now for what sounds like could be our next WS case. J/k of course!

Ugh, I haven't been on in a while because real life has been quite demanding. But reading the latest info just guts me. The baby was likely there when her mother was beaten to death and the terror that Kelsey probably felt. PF is pure evil. I hope he's punished to the fullest extent of the law. And KK, could've done something to prevent all of this. Disgusting, all of it. All IMO....

PF was SO very determined for KK to be involved directly in the killing...why? Her refusals to poison/beat KB herself made her a huge disappointment. He could have killed and cleaned up all on his own, no witness. Why was he so determined that KK play an active role. Someone who could implicate him. Why not do it alone?
"You have a mess to clean up"
Almost like a punishment for not doing what he asked when he asked.
This is what is most baffling to me as well. As violently as PF murdered KB, it’s obvious he has no qualms with committing murder. What made him so determined that KK was the one who must do the deed? Also bizarre is her making that long drive 3 times, only to chicken out. That’s a lot of time in the car to think through what you’re going to do. The “YOU HAVE A MESS TO CLEAN UP” also reveals something, I’m just unsure what that is. Finally, what was in KK’s mind that she felt responsible for the clean up? Horrendous job, why did she do it?

Same. I moved here from Dallas 6 years ago and THOUGHT it would be very safe! Not so much! Sorry I can’t turn the bold off! I will say this, with the lax legal marijuana laws, we are seeing so many new transient & homeless flood our town. Not that PF was a transient but I’ve seen crime increase due to so many outsiders moving here. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to turn the BOLD off ?? Please and thank you!! o_O

What, if PF disposed of the charred trough on a landfill (one will be searched soon) or brought his black-burnt trough to some rancher friend or he sank it in a river ...?
There are several rivers in Teller County and the vacinty however most are pretty shallow and mostly frozen this time of year.

I don't think we will ever have a good answer to this question. I would think it would be much safer to call authorities from Idaho rather than get anywhere near a man who just murdered his ex-fiance. My thought process would be that he would have no qualms about killing *me* next to ensure no witnesses, if I were in her shoes.

Something's bothering me how does Idaho know that pf set the tote on the ground behind Kelsey's car before putting it in his truck if she wasn't there when he moved Kelsey's body .that doesn't make sense that he'd tell her he set the tote down before putting in truck.

Snow Images in Colorado - Snow Photos in Buena Vista, Colorado

The Arkansas River would be the largest mouth river aside from some small creeks (which would most definitely be solid ice) that he could dispose of the trough in, assuming he did. This link gives you a good idea of what the Arkansas River looks like this time of year. Quite shallow as well.
