Something's bothering me how does Idaho know that pf set the tote on the ground behind Kelsey's car before putting it in his truck if she wasn't there when he moved Kelsey's body .that doesn't make sense that he'd tell her he set the tote down before putting in truck.

Excellent question but likely overstated during court. More like: he must have set the tote down...lalala IMO

Normally the apple doesn't fall far from the tree but I'd already previously thought there would be two other arrests and they haven't occurred yet so I'll just wait and see how it plays out. IMO

I would like to know why he felt he needed to go upstairs after killing her. What did he go upstairs to get?

This is what is most baffling to me as well. As violently as PF murdered KB, it’s obvious he has no qualms with committing murder. What made him so determined that KK was the one who must do the deed? Also bizarre is her making that long drive 3 times, only to chicken out. That’s a lot of time in the car to think through what you’re going to do. The “YOU HAVE A MESS TO CLEAN UP” also reveals something, I’m just unsure what that is. Finally, what was in KK’s mind that she felt responsible for the clean up? Horrendous job, why did she do it?

I think "you have a mess to clean up" is because he instructed KK previously to take care of this and she did not. Therefore, it became her mess. And she apparently agreed.

Like you, it struck me that PF trying to get KK to do it was not because he was squeamish or had any reluctance, but instead, because he simply wanted someone else to do it.

I'm thinking a lot of the blood in the bathroom is from him taking a shower and changing. And then when she went to clean up, she wiped it down and therefore it got wiped into cracks in the hinges and other places. I think the murder was indeed done in the living room which is near the kitchen, but the bathroom I think was all her cleaning up and spreading the blood around into cracks and crevices which they found. Moo

KK is not getting immunity. She is charged and pleaded guilty to felony tampering with evidence. She will be sentenced after her testimony against PF.

A max sentence of 3 years for her very active part in this murder is just a slap on the wrist IMO.

Because they did not know her level of involvement until they negotiated a plea. Just as she didn't know how much info they had.

They knew some of it but not the total extent.

IMO it looks like conspiracy to commit murder which appears to be a level 4 felony or 8-24 years.

But they knew she wasn't there when KB was likely murdered. They had enough to charge her with tampering (from my perusal of the timeline) but not enough for accessory, conspiracy, or for homicide charges against PF, until she talked.

But she only talked because they agreed to charge her with tampering and not something more serious.

I think it was a real Catch-22 - they didn't have enough without her testimony IMO. Sometimes the devil you know is better than the one you don't - in this case KK is the devil we know - and without her, PF gets the baby and his life goes on. I've watched the Michelle Parker case for years- he's still free - no body. I'm glad there is some justice for CB but agree it's a terrible price to pay. JMO

My guess is we are missing the details of what happened before/after he set down the tote. Maybe he told KK that as he was moving the tote, his phone rang or the baby cries or the neighbor waved....I don't know, obviously, but I think something happened that made him set the tote down and that's why he mentionednit to her. Maybe blood soaked through and made a mark and he told her to clean it up? Jmo

I'm a complete tech tard and even I know about pings. If he's so clueless about all of that, why insist KK use a burner phone? I'm confused on this issue.

Maybe he got the idea from a spy movie. Or maybe even though he was unaware of how pings work, he was hoping the actual messages could not be retrieved and was only thinking in terms of the content of the messages. I don't know. You would think he would just turn the cell phones off. Imo

I totally agree. However, it is a deal, not immunity. She plead guilty to a felony, FWIW.

SO and I were talking last night about this. Do you think PF committed murder for custody before he did his research or talked to an atty? In Colorado, you can't leave the state with your offspring if the children's other parent doesn't approve it. Maybe KB was thinking of moving closer to work (Pueblo) and that was enough to make PF act since visitation would be more difficult at that distance. I would hate to think he hadn't consulted someone and was acting out of pure D stupidity.

I thought the forklift was to lift it up high on top of the hay? Need to check the affidavit but she was tiny - so either he could lift the tote with her body inside it - or he had help moving it and if that is the case - Wow! JMO

I agree, I think the "alley" was the side of the condo by the fence...if you look at the condo, there's only one door in front and the back appears to not have any driveway behind it. Why PF t hought that was an important point to make to whomever, maybe it was to stress that the exchange was OUTSIDE the condo, not inside.

That makes good sense. It does seem he purposely tracked blood (footprints) all over the house. She was blugened in the living room but blood ended up in most of the house. Mentioning the tooth in the vent also seemed passive aggressive or downright aggressive. He couldn’t even grab the tooth while he was there? The level of violence is shocking, displaying deep disdain for Kelsey.

Maybe he resented KK for not following through and intentionally left her a big mess to "punish" her.

I know the idea is he did this for custody, but I still don't think that is the REAL reason.

Yes, he likely wanted custody....but the underlying reason is he didn't want to deal with KB in any way ever again. He wanted HER gone more than he wanted full custody of the baby, ykwim?

And in the end, he got her gone and didn't get custody.

I think there will be many more details revealed at the trial, including other witnesses and more cell phone information. I wouldn't be surprised if there are KB friends that have some information on the relationship and possible motive. I think we'll hear from the friend that she had dinner with in the days leading up to the murder.
