I have only been able to read most of the newer stuff that came out regarding KKs true involvement, the manner of poor KBs death, and the number of people who were complicit in, if not carrying out the actual murder, covering it up or staying silent about it. I personally have never seen anything like it, and honestly, I am flabbergasted and disgusted!

PF - Not just a vicious murderer, but also a tremendous coward. Soliciting a woman, your mistress, to murder your other girlfriend?!?!? Tough cowboy there. I get the sense that he has always manipulated or gotten women to do things, protect him, etc. Speaking of women...

KK - WOW. Just wow. I thought she might have more knowledge and involvement than she claimed at the beginning, but holy carp! Her depravity and willingness to literally clean up PFs mess is mind-boggling. I don't buy for a second it was motivated by fear, or not primarily. I think she is possibly a sociopath and narcissistic manipulator herself - her ability to get others to do her bidding might be a clue. What a pathetic excuse for a human being. She's getting off easy, but I don't see what choice prosecutors had without a body. And then there's KK's Supporting Cast...

MG, Unnamed Male Friend, KK aunt, the weird couple lawyers: Possible foreknowledge of murder and at least, should've had reasonable suspicion given all the stuff that was in the news re: KB's disappearance and they all scurried for darkness and cover like the cockroaches they are. I guess Non-Ethical Birds of a Feather flock together. No morals. No integrity. No courage. No care or concern for a murdered mother and her grieving family and now orphan daughter - that is, until the media showed up waving $$$ in their faces.

And finally, SF, who my real thoughts on are better left unsaid given the rules here. But I'll leave it as this, if there was a puppetmaster behind the scenes pulling PFs strings, I would look no further.

The whole thing is a cesspool of depraved swamp creatures. I'm truly sickened.

No the affidavit doesn't list a time - para 67 shows how long his cell phone pinged at KB's tower and para 71 says PF took the tote on 11/22 from the residence and stored it - I can't find the reference to the bank video yet but I know I saw it.

ETA: Going with red truck at Walmart because that was what neighbor saw parked sideways in KB's driveway between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m.

It's so sad. So many look for love, but some find hate and even death instead. Often they never even see it coming!
Many here are escapees of abusive relationships I'm sure. It makes you feel bad when others don't survive.

I respectfully disagree - there is a case in FL similar to this one - Michelle Parker - still no arrest after 7 years - the evidence they have isn't even enough to arrest him and it is quite a lot. KK sealed the deal, IMO. The devil you know as I posted upthread. With the baby in their possession (SF/PF) it was a gamble too great IMO. I don't like it, but I do like the result. Baby is safe with people who will surround her with love. KK will have no real life post trial IMO.

And remember that LE was able to arrest PF just under 3 weeks from the start of the investigation and recover baby K at the time of the arrest. That's a speedy time frame for a homicide arrest, and unusually speedy for a "no body" case. It's easy to second-guess LE, but they did what they had to do to put away a very, very evil and dangerous man. They did what they had to do, IMHO. And ITA that KK will have no real life. Her prison is the scorn and shame she has to live with forever, and the felony on her record that she'll have to explain any time she needs a background check. Notice how she has not shown her face in public except for at her court appearance. That's her prison. MOO

I'm guessing that they don't because this is twice now that I've tried to verify something said at the hearing from the affidavit and didn't find it there. I can't remember what the first thing was...more coffee needed.

What is she up to?? I see another twist coming.

She's trying to save her own hide. The next twist is PF turns on her. It seems pretty obvious that she was totally into helping murder KB, but she was the weak link in every way - physically carrying it out and then couldn't keep from talking about it, even ahead of time. I don't think she could have beat KB and killed her like it was supposed to have happened because she wouldn't have been able to have KB stand defenselessly in front of her waiting to be bashed in the head. It's because of KK's weakness that LE knows what happened. PF's defense is going to try to show KK's deeper involvement and we will get more of the story fleshed out. The trial will winnow out most of the chaff. MOO.

Well, there’s no doubt that some here are trying to say she controlled the actual murderer, PF, and either did the murder herself or “caused it.” She is absolutely a devil in her own right. I’m sure not defending her for the things she did do. But no one caused this murder except for the murderer, and that is my point. We cannot blame her for his actions. In 2017, Frazee confiscated Berreth's gun after she threatened herself with it, Slater said, saying the episode was related to investigators by Berreth’s mother. The couple were arguing about finances when Berreth said, "Maybe I would be better off dead" and pointed the gun at her head.

I've always had trouble with that timeline. Other posters have pointed out that PF's appearance at Walmart really narrows things down. IIRC, I remember thinking he couldn't have spent more than half an hour at SF's on Thanksgiving afternoon - basically show up, grab a plate, eat and run.

Berreth's mother told investigators about the episode with the gun. Who told CB this story? For context, this is the paragraph above that one, in the article:

In the recorded call, Frazee also claimed Berreth suffered from depression and went to a clinic in California for treatment in August 2018. After getting out, she complained of the stress from weekday work commutes between Woodland Park and Pueblo.
