When I do Dibels tests with my students, I have to click a button for every word they recall. I have to replay what they say in my head to do it. I wonder if that is how dictation works---court reporting must be all the more difficult.

Yeah. I've never owned a gun (though I'm pro 2nd) but the friend said it had 8 rounds in the clip and nothing chambered. Then it has 6 in the clip and one in the chamber and, I assume, it gets like that because it's been fired.
There’s two ways that can happen.

A shot could have been fired (more likely).

Or a round could have been manually removed from the magazine, and the gun cocked.

Who is this defendant that showed up on 11/22 Thanksgiving Day? Who who who?

From Sam Kraemer courtroom Tweets “May says she knows about a defendant showing up to her house on Thanksgiving. I’m assuming that’s Kenney, since Patrick lives with her.” @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee #KrystalKenney
KKL wasn’t in CO at that time according to the affidavit

If 'only "advisements" and "arraignments" are eligible for EMC', what does that mean for the actual trial? I'm somewhat confused because when the families of Shanann and Chris Watts spoke at his (sentencing, was it), that was televised. Does fall under an advisement?

The Watts hearing you are referring to was "Sentencing." The trial was essentially over, and EMC Motions were granted by the Judge. However, you may recall that the public was in the dark (i.e., no audio/video media coverage inside the courtroom granted) for Watts scheduled "status hearing" where he dropped the bombshell decision to plead guilty to all the charges. We followed that breaking trial news on twitter! (Just like we were doing Tuesday during PF preliminary hearing).

Also, all the networks that were tweeting the preliminary hearing will tell us if they ever have a motion granted for coverage, just as it will be posted on PF's court page.

Here's the link to PF's Court page to watch the motions for media coverage filed, and whether they are granted or objected. IMO, you should probably expect many more court by twitter days for the PF trial.

Can you point out in the affidavit where is says she was not in CO on the 22nd? Thanks!!

It could be there, I know I read it originally from a source that can't be cited on WS---and so I don't remember if I read it on that document or not.
#26 in the civil suit. (Read more for context)

Edited for clarity

Can someone please bring forward the make and model of the gun, thanks.

(I haven’t read the affidavit yet even though I posted it lol, my brain is still fried from the Watts’ documents (1260 pages was it?) and then SP’s documents...I’ve still got to read Hania’s :( )

Anyway, how many pages is it?

How exactly does her horrifying tale of coming thisclose to committing the murder herself and then cleaning up the crime scene in any way preserve any tiny bit of reputation she may have had left after all of the rumors and speculation?

Her tale left me picking my jaw up off the floor multiple times. I'm sure I'm not alone here. She's not in jail, but she has no job, no reputation, she's exposed herself as a disgustingly horrible excuse for a mother and a human being - please explain how, how exactly is she "preserving some semblance of a reputation"???
She has a reputation alright. Haha.

Re the confusion on where the murder took place - the affidavit at 66 says living room but Sam Kramer reported the Slater testimony as having the murder take place in the back bedroom when he was tweeting during the hearing. See screenshot. Perhaps it was mistaken reporting but that is why there is confusion. Live blog: Patrick Frazee appears in court for preliminary hearing

Thanks for that because I knew I'd read that before the living room report. With the blood reported all over the condo, I think it remains in doubt which room.

That also reminds me of something weird KK said. She said she used the shower in the clean up. I took that to mean used it for rinsing and whatnot. Doesn't that seems strange? Who would turn on the shower rather than use a sink? That doesn't add up, to me. So much doesn't.

And, while tests have not yet come back or been results released - that blood on the Swifer and bleach bottle at the ranchette. If that turns out to be Kelsey's, how would that happen? It was KK who allegedly cleaned up and put everything in trash bags.

agree
it was rushed.
they discovered KKs phone pinged at KBs condo 24th. they had her there without her version of events.
Without her, they had no crime scene, no idea how she was murdered, no idea how her body was disposed of, or any information regarding those solicitation charges.

It sucks, but they had no case without her, especially without a body.

Why would he want her to suffer...because of his violent emotions.

But yes, thank you, that's exactly what I am so lamely trying to say. Something happened to make him want to become satan that day, as opposed to the following day, next week, or waiting on KK.

I've come across people who are very stoic (I won't say emotionless) that wanted people to suffer to prove a point, not out of rage. I think if he were truly a boiling cauldron of rage, he wouldn't have gone to Walmart and shopped first. I think he would've gone in a few minutes later and choked her or killed her with a frying pan or something. I also don't think he would have her put a sweater on and smell candles.

It will be interesting to see what he bought on that shopping trip. Methinks it was candles.

And I will add a manipulator extradorinaire IMO
Yet he got manipulated into doing the dirty deed himself. Ironic.

Here’s another question—-

If we met KK on the street would we ever suspect? This is what always gets me.

(Double shudder)

She’s stupid but she sure is evil.

ETA:
More on this, I read upstream somewhere that perhaps maybe some might be interpreting the discussion of this woman as exoneration of PF and if so no way; it’s just like SP and the discussion of BR—we already knooowww RP is a monster...same thing here, we already know PF is a monster. I’m thinking she is too.

—-

ETA2: I’m getting really creeped out thinking about this, this evil breed of woman that comes with coffee and smiles...
Well, people never suspected Ted Bundy could be a murderer until he started murdering people.
So no, I don't think if I ran into her on the street I would suspect. Jmo

She probably can't lie about her earlier trips because her data puts her there. Does her cell data match with PF's during these trips? Did he know she was there?

(I can not have a serious conversation with you with that avatar! Rotf!)

To play devils advocate I don’t see any support from LE that evidence was from a blunt force murder. Only from what KK provided. As far as we know LE did not even know a murder took place until they found blood in the bathroom and floorboards. What’s not to say that blood was from a gun shot wound at this point.

I think the 2nd time LE went to look, they used more sophisticated means to find blood (Luminal, Blue Star, Florescence), and what they found led them to believe no one could live through that kind of attack and that it wasn't the result of gunshots.

Yes.....here is how it would go.

Its obviously a semi-automatic handgun because it has a clip. The clip is the part that holds the bullets and slides up from the bottom into the inside of the handle of the gun.

I am sure most have seen that done on TV. So she is saying she left it with 8 bullets in that clip and none in the chamber. Which means that whoever used the gun would first have to "work the action" to load a single round into the chamber and then firing that round which would automatically (semi-auto) load another round from the clip into the chamber.

So the result is one round fired and one left in chamber and 6 left in clip.

The only caveat to that would be if the person didnt actually fire that first round and just "worked the action" again a 2nd time which would throw the 1st live round onto the ground and load that 2nd round into the chamber which would leave the gun in the same condition. So the only way to know if that first round was really fired would be to test the gun barrel for gun powder residue.

I think the DA made the right decision just think they could have and should have dirted her up more. its there.
we can see it from the outside....lord knows the frustration going on the inside with what they have on her.
I don't personally think she witnessed or participated in KBs death but I do question exactly when she arrived and there hasn't been any address of why this all happened. non of us buy her I thought she was a bad mother Bull S **t.
she is getting a free pass on her contribution to how this came to be.
I guess I want her to say yes I loved Patrick and I wanted that 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 dead.
sorry not sorry, as per her arrogant mug shot.
then @gitana1 i'll let it go!!!!!:p

the truth....that is all.

I think he got angry, impatient and tired of waiting.
If you want something done right, do it yourself.
Maybe that's what he was thinking.
