@Seattle1 and @Tippy Lynn, It looks like both KB and PF were seen by the Williams Furniture store camera?

UPDATE: Patrick Frazee facing new charges after preliminary hearing
Adams says surveillance video shows a car matching that of Berreth's driving toward her town home on the day she went missing. Video is from a furniture store near her town home.

Live blog: Patrick Frazee appears in court for preliminary hearing
Adams recounted combing through surveillance video of Berreth leaving the Safeway store. He said he saw her vehicle on a Walmart security camera, video from the Williams Furniture store and eventually he accessed video from one of Berreth’s neighbors.

Adams says Berreth checked out at Safeway at 12:27 p.m. She bought supplies for a dip and some flowers. Surveillance video from another business showed her vehicle heading toward her townhome. Adams is looking at his phone for the time. @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee

He says Frazee was seen on Walmart & Williams Furniture Store surveillance, and on the surveillance video of an adjacent townhome to Berreth’s. That video showed him at her door @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee

Courtroom updates: Preliminary hearing for Patrick Frazee, who is accused of killing Kelsey Berreth
The prosecution continued questioning Adams at the conclusion of the recorded phone call. He discussed surveillance video showing both Frazee and Berreth at a furniture store near her apartment on Nov. 22 — the last day she was seen.

Thanks, Seattle. Unfortunately, I've read both and I'd really like to clear it up. We may have to get in touch with Sam.

ETA: Nevermind - I answered my own question. I'm going with both PF and KB were seen by the furniture store camera.
HAAA... these darn one horse, one road, one streetlight, towns. :p

The first photo has KKL in it, right?

I know we have MS and MG in Twin Falls, but now ML?

What part does ML play in this? I've missed something here about PF being jilted, ML who has land abutting chez Frazee and Thanksgiving?

Can someone clarify this please?
Is the picture of the woman in black KK ?

I don't buy that KK was irrational at the crime scene.

Our worst imaginations can't picture a crime scene with blood spattered everywhere and smelling awful, yet KK walked in with all her gear, changed into her "hazmat" suit and scrubbed for almost 4 hours.

I'm not mentioning the 800 mile drive, the motel layover for sleep and probably a fast food bonanza before the clean-up and, of course, after.

I'm also not mentioning the machinations to borrow a car, keep her plans from her "sort of ex" husband and helping PF with hiding and burning the "tote". Do you know how a dead body smells by the second day?

KK was rational.

And really, really evil.

I think she was supremely functional but the tasks she is doing and why she is doing them are pretty self-defeating and represent bad choices- that is what I meant.

“Do you suppose PF was getting cash from the bank/credit union to give KK so she wouldn't have to use a credit card for gas on that 800 mile trip back to Idaho, therefore leaving a trail?”

Sorry, I cut too much. I would be willing to bet that law-enforcement has inspected as many video surveillance tapes as possible along that route. And if it’s like any place else, there are cameras set up along the way

MOO

maybe he was paying her... that would add a new element to this atrocity

IKR?

At what point do you pause, 800 miles from your home, clad in a hazmat suit with bottles of bleach and detergent, in the horror of a murdered strangers's apartment that reeks of blood, with a bloody mess all over , having driven in a friend's VW Passat , holding your burner phone and ask yourself:

What Am I Doing?

just thought that if you burn phone, there is probably metal residue left and burning lithium batteries (did she remove them?) would be
bad.
I recall a report that KK destroyed KB's phone in a yard burn at her Idaho home, and discarded the remnants at her work place.

I know? When did this happen

Do we have any idea as to whether these socks appear to have been taken off of KB's body after the attack or were in a laundry pile or dresser where they were bloodied secondarily in the attack?

It's in the complaint and I believe it was mentioned in the prelim. When KK found out about the baby, she claims to have purchased a t-shirt and some small toys. Maybe during the August visit.

This is the first I'm hearing of bloody socks, though.

Yeah..
"I learned PF had committed a homicide..ya know, the one I wussed out of doing...but I really tried 3 times!" Poison, metal pipe/rod, baseball bat...there was a clear evolution to the plot.
such a liar

And I cannot get my head around that... PF trying to get her to do it 3 different ways before he lost it and beat poor Kelsey to death.. Scum the pair of them.. They deserve each other!!,

Is payment required for the charge of solicitation?
No. Payment isn’t necessary.

Payment shows intent; that’s why law enforcement likes to have a financial transaction when they are doing a sting operation, for instance.

That payment shows you aren’t messing around.

We know he was serious when he solicited KK to kill Kelsey, as he instructed her how to do it, and made it clear that he wanted KB dead.

KK actually attempting to carry out the murder on three occasions, also shows that she took him seriously.

Not really relevant except as evidence of KK's character, perhaps, but I wonder about her relationship with her ex-husband. They're divorced but they still share a home, OK, I can understand that happens. I don't understand them getting along well enough to make that work, but she still had to hide her relationship with PF from him.

Personalities like KK use everyone around them for a purpose, IMO.

She was probably sponging off her ex-husband in some way, and he tolerated it on the condition she didn’t parade her affair/s in front of him.

Sorry to mention this one more time but I feel like the importance of the 16min+ call might be missed. When did KK first have access to KB’s phone? IMO I think #39 of the affidavit explains. There’s so much in that one paragraph IMO

I think I read she found out about the baby in June or July, and bought the clothes in August. Imo

And personalities like PF's as well! Seems they were a perfect match.

The weather was pretty good that Thanksgiving weekend and we've estimated the driving time from Twin Falls, ID to Woodland Park, CO would have been about 8 hours each way.

8 hours EACH WAY

It's more like 12 hours . If you do a look up on Google maps, it's 781 miles or about 12 hours. In order to get there in 8 hours, that's driving over 100 miles per hour without stopping for gas.

The 12 hours is under current winter storm driving conditions. When I googled it for late November, I got 8 hours.
It's nearly 800 miles each way; nobody's driving that in 8 hours, no matter how good the weather is. MOO.

It is interesting to read some of PF's comments on depression. Many people that have not dealt with depression associate it with sadness and suicide ideation. These can be manifestations of depression but in general a person is experiencing lack of concentration, lack of energy, lack of motivation, fatigue, muscle aches, delayed motor skills. There really is a stigma and I am happy to see KB received help. Episodes or a lifetime of depression or anxiety cannot be managed just by willpower. I am so glad she had her faith and family.

In all fairness to KB, she was said to have sought treatment for extreme fatigue, and reported this to her Employer prior to travel for treatment. (Agent Slater testified to this). I also don't believe there are any confirmed reports if KB was a patient for a single visit, or if visit was for extended treatment.

While "fatigue" can definitely be a symptom of depression, PF choosing to spin this as KB had to go to "rehab" was clearly an excuse to associate and expand KB's symptoms to include drugs, alcohol, depression, anxiety, and so on.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was recommended to KB (at her August appointment) to move closer to Pueblo to combat the fatigue. And if KB told PF about this -- again he was spinning this as "not reading anything into this" and/or a love interest at work. It all seems to fit the same time period of soliciting KB dead.

MOO
