Based on the search warrants, it still seems unclear as to why they dug the ground up at the ranchette. Doesn't it? If they dug related to the supposed burning of KB's body, the area where they dug doesn't line up with the area where it is believed she was possibly burned in the trough? Of course, we don't know for sure where on the ranchette the supposed burning did take place though either (I don't think we know anyways?). JMO

Well Mays did state quite firmly that there could be more arrests. KK's deal means she has to cooperate with all court proceedings.

Yes I have seen the video on YT, but what I'm trying to say is, I don't see anything in the search warrant(s) that may have been possibly something found at the dig site. In other words, what reason was there to dig that spot up? Wonder what lead them to dig there in that area? Maybe someday will may find out more about it.

Good point, Still not sure the reason to lie, unless PF lied to her? I mean when she was telling FBI and CBI all this she has to know that they already had some things that pointed to PF. So she wasn't going to save his by lying where the body was, was she?

Did PF actually tell her that KB was in the tote when they retrieved it or did she just assume?

I mean if shes still was lying after she took the plea deal then she is the dumbest person on the face of the earth.

I'm starting to seriously question weather she was actually burned at the Franch.

I'm starting to lean towards either:

A: PF lied to KK about what he did with the body

B: KK made an assumption that the tote had a body in it and not just bloody clothes and other things from the condo when they retrieved it from Nash ranch. MOO

I am torn about her knowing with regard to the body as well. I have a few theories. One is maybe when he called her to clean up the mess, maybe the fact (if true) she could not immediately come and could not come until the 24th had him doubting her (or maybe the way she reacted). That was the call that he said something like "just f'ng talk". We will never know the full conversations but maybe her reaction had him doubting her...? So with regard to the body, he was not going to trust her with the truth but let her think she was present, part of it and watched her burn and culpable...? I hate to give her any credit but it is one possibility.

I find it pretty hard to believe his first goal was not to get rid of the body... I also do not like the addition of the new guy whose place he was at or near as well more or less every day.

I don't know, I just know that the body being burned at that place on that night is one of the things I question quite a bit... I also feel the landfill search has something to it we do not know about possibly... Just speculation and just a feeling....

Ah, I see. You know, you're right!!!! As I recall, all the talk around the digging time was that they were interested in the septic system. But maybe that dug up area was actually the ground around the burn trough? Still, I don't remember any mention of the burn trough ground being collected. I would think digging up property would've been in the search warrant, wouldn't it have been? Hmm....you bring up good stuff.

It seems to me that PF's friends did not know him all that well, not one of his clients/friends/roping buddies knew that he was in a relationship with two women at the same time.

I'm not so sure about that. His friends might not say anything about him having several gfs at the same time. He most likely told all his friends that he wasn't going to marry any of the women, and his buds all think the more girls you have on the line the studlier you are.

I am 95% sure that KB's body was burned at the Franchette. There would be no need for a large quantity of gasoline to burn clothes, nor would there be a need for a large tote or a trough. MOO

If the tote was used to transport her body, it would have evidence and need to be disposed of , even if her body was no longer in it.

I believe the thought was that they were digging to find the access hatch to the septic tank, where they could then test for various things (remains, blood, etc). Some people thought perhaps the septic tank itself was removed, due to the large area dug. I suspect they just didn't know precisely where the access was, so had to dig around a bit. No pump truck was seen, nor a tank being hauled in/out.

I have not seen anything to explain the big hole. I just wonder if a cadaver dog had a hit in that area and they just dug it up to see if anything was there.

I don't think there is any evidence, as far as I know. But I do think she had to know or at least suspect after seeing the fire.
She may have been in denial, but it's very unlikely, at least in my mind, that she would not have known her son had at least some involvement.
Whether or not she will admit to that is the question. If she is anything like her son I doubt she ever will.

I really don't know what to make of the teeth discovery. Seems insane that he would have kept teeth from KB, but then, criminals do incredibly stupid things all the time. I would think that even without DNA, a dentist could tell LE if the teeth had been extracted recently or had been out a long time. And presumably KB had a local dentist that could easily tell LE if the teeth are KB's or not. I don't think we have seen a warrant for her dental records have we?

Keeping teeth is weird. I understand keeping teeth in a sealed envelope/container for DNA purposes of your children/loved ones. But the bloody sheet. If it’s KB’s, how dumb can you get.

I don't think we have direct evidence of that, though it is likely. PF called her and KK one after another on Nov 22th. He said to KK that he had a hard time keeping it together at the Thanksgiving dinner, but that could have been because of other people present, like his brother.
