It is interesting that PF’s father passed away in August 2018 then in September 2018, he started talking / planning and soliciting KB’s murder.

Quite a coincidence? We don’t know much about the relationship between PF and his father before or after the divorce.

Did something click in him with his father’s death which made him want to dispose of KB? Did he want the baby to have one parent who would always be there for her? Of course, that being him along with his mamma. He knew KB would move back to her area and visitation with the baby would be long distance and difficult.

Perhaps his father had traveled and never been close to him. With his death, it hit him, he didn’t want that kind of life with or for baby K.

I agree, most folks these days don't have a lot of printed photos laying around in drawers like we used to. They are all on their phones for the most part. Though I would imagine she would have sent photos to her Mom via phone or email.Her phone may or may not be destroyed, if those pictures were not back up somewhere they might be lost. OR...Perhaps her Mom just doesn't want to share them with the world, which is her right.

There are still a few things about KK's story that just don't add up.
1. she's a nurse and would have needed to apply for that time off during the Thanksgiving day week far in advance. For her to claim he called her out of the blue and told her she needed to clean up the mess doesn't add up. He must have known she had that time off and she must have put in a request to get those days off. Her job is not the kind you can just take time off whenever you feel like it, especially on holidays.
2. KK claims that PF contracted for her to kill KB because she had access to drugs like ambien, etc. Thing is, PF's mother still holds her nursing license and would have been able to get the meds and he wouldn't have had to go outside the family to get the help he claimed he needed. Additionally, it would have been much easier for him to use whatever he had on hand as a farrier.
3. KK claims that she did attempt to carry out the poisoning by giving KB a coffee laced with poison, but couldn't do it. However, the two weren't friends and it makes no sense that KB would accept a coffee from a complete stranger. If some woman knocked on your door and introduced herself as a new neighbor, had a starbucks coffee with her and offered it to you, would you take it? I know I wouldn't. I'm sure they must have met before, seeing as KK and PF were carrying on an affair for months KK must have travelled to see him. During those travels doesn't it make sense that KK was working to gain KB's trust by befriending her? I mean how was KK planning to bludgeon KB to death, knock on her door carrying a metal pipe, smile and say "hey I know you don't know me and I'm carrying this metal pipe, but can I come in and be your new friend"?
4. KK cleaned up KB's home. Trust me, if someone asked me to clean up the home of some stranger I had never met I'd be hard pressed to make that home look like nothing had happened. KK said that home scene was brutal, yet she knew enough about the layout of that home to make it appear to KB's family that the home was normal. Furniture was where it was supposed to be, knicknacks where they should be, pictures on the walls, chairs, plants, etc. How would KK know what goes where if she hadn't been in that home before?
I think there's more to the story than we're hearing or KK is still lying because there are things that still don't add up.

Well, I guess we know why KB referred to PF as her fiancé, and told those she knew at work she was getting married. I wonder how many late night calls KB received from PF telling her he just dreamed about her in a wedding dress. I bet it was a line he used on all his girlfriends.

I think KB and PF's ex girlfriend look a lot alike, there are many similarities between them, unlike KK who looks nothing like either of them. I think he had a "type", and KK was not it.

I watched the Dateline episode today.

His ex-GF said he was smart. I don't agree. He was manipulative.

They kept saying KB had problems with alcohol. I worked at 2 bars in town, from 2015-2018 and I never saw her. I also have never seen her while being out at the Ute (arguably the most popular bar in town and super close to her home) or any of the other local watering holes.

Patrick may have patroned the Thunderbird in Florissant, the only bar in that area and close to his home. Florissant is pretty far out. Isolated. I think Kelsey would have felt like an outsider in that community. However, Woodland Park is full of transplants. Easier to meet people around here if you want to. People are friendly and nice.

I drove by KB townhouse today. Other people on here were discussing the angle of the camera on the home next door. I agree now. They are NOT on the same level. KB home is much higher than her neighbors home (251 e. Lake) . The camera would probably only capture below the knees.

BTW where are the photos of KB doing things with baby K? CB has only released the birth 3-some photo, the staged portrait photos of herself with KB and baby K from October 2018, and the one of CB holding the baby on the plane wing. It's just odd that a new first-time Mom like KB didn't take tons of photos of the baby and herself doing things. I suppose CB controls what gets released?

I don't have a ton of pictures of my son when he was little because I was too busy playing / making memories with him rather than playing photographer!

I do think it’s possible that KK saw Kelsey’s body, but simply doesn’t want to admit that.

I wouldn’t be surprised if she caught a glimpse of her during the burning process.

For whatever reason, she might think it’s better to indicate that she saw a bulge, as opposed to seeing Kelsey herself. It seems to distance her from the act a bit, if she claims not to have seen her.

I absolutely do not believe that Kelsey survived that beating, and was long dead by the time she was disposed of.

He would have made sure of that, when he attacked her.

Plus, with a cursory search, I can't for the life of me find a reference to the brand of KB's phone! Patrick and Kelsey shared some phone stuff (well, according to Sheila Frazee)....and PF's phone was a moto something (it's on the search warrant), so maybe KB had something similar.

I think it very likely KK saw the body or KB at some point. She protests too much that she didn't.

I also think the guns play in somehow and have various theories.

These people are evil is all I have to say bottom line. They seem like some cultish, clannish weird circle of rodeo clowns. That is not to knock everyone in any rodeo, just saying this bunch is odd...

I think it is time for CC to stop with his third hand account of things PF told him. And spreading these things on national TV.

Sounds like KB made a smart choice living in Woodland Park rather than Florissant or Cripple Creek. It helps to hear from locals who know the areas.

If PF is the typical projectionist of such types, he is the alcoholic, he is depressed and he abuses the child. He also hints at her seeing someone else, but HE was.

@Mom24 All of these are great points. The point on planned time off is a good one. It would be interesting to look at the patterns of days off for all KKL's trips. I have said this several times before when someone mentions the threat of Ambien on someone it makes you ask if PF and/or had used this on KB before and been in the home together. I had mentioned this because of the complaint of exhaustion. Depression does cause tiredness but her depression was considered severe and tiredness, exhaustion. I have traveled my entire career both plane and auto and raised a family so I know the limitations of the body. You are not guaranteed to sleep with Ambien and you do have trouble with memory while on it. I have audited the drug. It of course given to someone unknown to them driving is life threatening. It would interesting to look into prescriptions everyone associated had access to just to know.

The nurse might have just called up the hospital and said "I don't feel good, can I have a few days off or, I have caught the flu going around, can I have a few days off" I am sure the hospital would have said O.K.

Nursing is very shift oriented work with not enough coverage as it is. Surgeries are scheduled out as well as space. She was in pre-op which requires full coverage.
