I have problems with the idea of PF in the condo with Baby K for two hours. It's hard for me to imagine he spent much time on 'warming up' to the deed - I suspect he got down to it pretty quickly. If KK is to be believed, he didn't spend much time cleaning up. So what exactly did he do for two hours, allegedly alone in the condo with Baby K and KB's dead body? I don't recall any phone calls during this time, either.

Maybe that's when he started deleting texts, if he did that.

You are not alone in some of your thoughts. And there are many questions. Some think they are wrapped up and all makes sense; others don't. I am a questioner myself. I don't like it when dots do not connect. And I really do not like when some of the dots come from those that have lied.

We have no proof he took her out the day of Thanksgiving. None. It does not mean proof may not exist but we have no such evidence that we have seen nor heard thus far. Your point about no blood in the body after a day or two was interesting. As is your point that it would not be easy to put her in a tote. They cannot do a time of death. There is no way they could. Except on the word of one, or the other or both of the liars.

There are also hints now of PF being back to KB's on the 23rd, and hints that he may have been with KK at the unit on the 24th and possibly at the Sonic with her as well. We also then find he was at this Slagle's like day after day yet no mention is made of that in what KK was told. Thus far anyhow. Lots to question...

I for one do not think this is going to be wrapped up in a pretty bow for the jury, I think they will try. I think the prosecution will do their best with the facts they have, the lying star witness who was involved and to make it as linear and factual as possible. Yet even when they show pings and so forth that jury is going to think of phones traveling with the wrong person (KB's), burner phones, lies, borrowed cars, etc. They have their work cut out for them with this case and to get a jury to believe this crazy story and it is crazy. Because as much as they try to make it clear, the defense will come in and muddy and poke holes. And they have plenty to do that with.

From what we know so far. imho.

I wonder if RS is the one that helped PF get KB and the tote to the top of the hay, after they went and picked her up late TG evening/night. RS may have known about the phone pings, and said they needed to leave their phones at his house.

I am not the type to knock appearance ever but I throw that a bit out the window on occasion when someone is involved with murder, clean-up, etc. and could have saved a life instead of helping plot their murder.

My mama who was a white as white blonde as a little girl always told me there is no such thing as a true blonde past the age of like 18 or so unless bleach is involved. To me, it does not matter what photos are shown of KK, nowadays or back when, she looks dated. The first pics I saw of her I thought of the 70s and blue eyeshadow and thin eyebrows and yet I know she is not that old. The more current pictures yes she went in before court to have her hair done, some highlights, still bleached, very unnatural to me and possibly extensions.

KB was the beauty inside and out from what I can see. Most women can tell she got her hair done professionally as well but it is natural looking and flat out gorgeous.

But some types like to keep their little respectable good girl (per CC) woman at home while cheating with a ribald bleach blonde dated cowgirl.

I await being attacked for saying this. And I mean no offense to any blonde. I myself have lightened far past what my natural color is. The offense is meant at this poor excuse for a woman, KK.

I like your confidence, I want to stress that, I truly do and wish I felt 100 percent that way. However, they only have the case they are given to do so. He is not the investigators nor can he create evidence where it may not exist, he works with what he is given, is that right? Plenty of evidence was gone and/or destroyed before this show ever got on the road or until outside help was called in. If he can convince 12 in a case like this, my hat is off to him. I hope he has all of this perfect evidence that so many believe to each and every question, of which there are many. It truly is what I hope and want to see.

I hope there is far, far more than we know. A Perry Mason moment. Although since both sides pretty much have the entire case these days and every bit of evidence long before trial, that does not really occur anymore...

PF took a big chance having the body of KB in his truck while his LE brother, and SF ate Thanksgiving dinner just yards away in the house. If someone had checked KB's that evening, he would have been suspect number one from the get go. I am curious if his brother, and mother knew, or maybe even saw her in the tote. I would not put it past SF to want KB out of the picture. As to his bro, well blood ties, and all. I don't for a minute think PF is estranged from his brother, and am curious how many calls to him are showing up on his cell phone records. This entire family is dark, every last one of them. Yes apparently he was driving around with KB in his truck and it also must have been one really quick dinner... No thanks mom, nice to see ya bro, i have to run get rid of kb's body now... This sh** is beyond believable... They had better get some timelines straight as well because some of them just are not working... Hopefully though we just do not know what they have yet...

1 – 4 a.m.: Investigators found that there were at least seven contacts made between Frazee and Berreth’s cell phones between these hours, including a four-minute phone call that happened around 1:42 a.m.

1:17 a.m. KB calls PF he doesn't answer (missed call)

1:18 a.m. KB calls PF a second time and he doesn't answer (missed call)

1:20 a.m. KB calls PF and they hold a 16 second conversation

1:42 a.m. KB calls PF and they hold a 4 minute and 32 second conversation.

1:50 a.m KB buys PF Tums Antacid at Walmart (based on a receipt found in her truck)

3:32 a.m. KB calls PF and he doesn't answer (missed call)

3:34 a.m. PF calls KB and they hold a 13 second conversation.

3:37 a.m. PF text to KB: I'll come down after I do chores and (Baby K) can go with me to Walmart and the bank so you can get a nap. Then we can figure out our plans

3:53 a.m. KB text to PF: Ok. We're home

3:53 a.m. PF text to KB: Ok thanks

Approx. 9:00 a.m. KB speaks to her mom on the phone. KB tells CB about checking on cattle with PF the night before and getting him medicine and that she got home around 4 am. KB also says that she and PF and baby are planning to go out for Thanksgiving Dinner but has to hang up the phone quickly to change baby K's diaper.

9:15 a.m. KB text to PF: Want to go out to eat?

Approx. 9:15 a.m. CB calls KB back and they talk briefly about Christmas gift lists and other similar topics.

9:37 a.m. KB text to PF: Call us when you wake up

9:40 a.m. PF calls KB and they have a 3 minute and 28 second conversation.

12:02 p.m. KB is seen pulling into the Safeway parking lot in her red Chevy Silverado Truck and removing the car seat carrier and Baby K from the passenger's side.

12:05 p.m KB is seen on video entering Safeway with her daughter in a baby carrier/car seat.

12:22-12:24 p.m. KB is seen on video checking out her purchases at Safeway (flowers and dip ingredients). She needed assistance to get a poinsettia plant from floral and therefore had 2 receipts. The first receipt had food items and the second reciept had only the floral purchase.

12:27 p.m. KB and her daughter are captured on a surveillance camera at the Safeway in Woodland Park leaving the store. She is seen on video loading the groceries and baby K into her red truck and driving out the west end of the parking lot.

Sometime Between 12:30 and 1:00 PM KB's neighbor was leaving her home to go to her family Thanksgiving and saw 3 vehicles (2 red trucks and KB's car) parked at KB's house. One red truck was parked perpendicular to the other two vehicles, blocking them in. Sam Kraemer on Twitter

12:31 p.m PF calls KB and they have a 35 second conversation*
12:33 p.m. PF calls KB again and the call lasts 8 seconds*
*Cell Phone data show both PF and KB were in the vicinity of KB's home during the 2 above calls.

12:36 p.m. PF's red Toyota Tacoma was seen on video from William's Log Furniture turn onto North Fairview Street from Hwy 24 and continue Northbound on Fairview. The truck had a white box object in the bed.

12:37 p.m KB's truck is observed on video taken from William's Log Furniture driving Westbound on Hwy 24 and turning onto North Fairview St.

12:41 p.m. KB text to PF: I bought some sweet potatoes in case you wanted sweet potato casserole but I forgot to get pecans so if you want some you should get some

12:44 p.m. PF's red Toyota with the white box in the bed item is seen on William's Log Furniture video driving Southbound on North Fairview towards the HWY 24 intersection.

12:44-12:50 p.m PF is seen on video at the Woodland Park ENT Bank ATM. He made 4 transactions during this visit. 3 deposits and one withdrawal. Both the baby and baby carrier are visible in the ATM video with PF at 12:47 p.m.

12:54 – 1:17 p.m.: Frazee was captured on surveillance video at the Walmart in Woodland Park carrying a baby carrier with a blanket similar to the one seen in the Safeway footage. Investigators wrote in the affidavit that they believe their 1-year-old daughter was in the carrier at the time.

1:24 p.m. A person matching Frazee’s description is captured entering the front door of Berreth’s apartment on a neighbor’s surveillance camera – which investigators said contradicted what Frazee had told them about a timeline on that day.

1:25 p.m. PF's red Toyota is seen on William's Log Furniture video turning onto North Fairview from HWY 24 and traveling Northbound. The truck appears to have some kind of crate in the bed.

3:13 p.m. PF's bank account shows a transaction at Walmart.

3:36 p.m.: That same neighbor’s surveillance camera again captures images of a person that matches Frazee’s description at Berreth’s home. Frazee called his mother, Sheila, and Kenney at this time, according to his phone records. This is the beginning of when Frazee allegedly started carrying out his “scheme,” as the affidavit calls it, of using his and Berreth’s phones to try and “distract law enforcement, distort the actual date of [Berreth’s] appearance, and separate himself as a suspect in a murder investigation.”
Kenney told investigators that Frazee called her and told her to come to Colorado because she “had a mess to clean up.” She told investigators that she understood that meant that Berreth had been killed.

4:24 p.m. PF makes a call to a number ending in 6021 and his cell phone connects to the tower near KB's home**
4:37 p.m. PF's calls a number ending in 6679. PF cell again connects to the Woodland Park tower near KB's home but in the east facing sector.**
4:43 p.m. PF receives a call on his phone from the number ending in 6679. PF's phone connects to a tower near Divide, CO, and a sector facing west along route 24. The call last 141 seconds.**
4:50 p.m. PF calls the 6679 number back and talks for 251 seconds.**
**KB's phone was also tracked and from approx 3:30-4:50 KB's phone moves along the same route as PF's phone. Both phones appear to move along Route 24 in the direction from KB's home toward PF's home. Due to the time delay of when phone warrants were issued only "failed attempt" calls were recorded. These are probably calls that failed to connect or dropped due to poor reception.

9:54, 10:03, 10:15 & 10:48 PM: Both Frazee’s and Berreth’s cell phones were connected with cell towers near Cripple Creek, traveling in the same direction and similar distances from the towers. “This would indicate the phones were likely traveling together,” Frazee’s affidavit says. The area where the phones connected is in the direction of Robert Slagle's Guffey, CO residence.

11:11 p.m. PF's phone is recorded 3 miles south of a Florissant cell tower 2 miles south of his residence. There is nothing to indicate PF and KB's phones ever separated during this 2.5 hour window.

The affidavit says the two cell phones stayed together for the entirety of Nov. 22-24

IIRC, Cripple Creek has at least 600 hotel rooms. That's basically all that city has - casinos, most of which are in hotels. I also think another 200 room hotel/casino is expected to be finished in 2020 or 2021.

Concerning the hay bale, I think we're forgetting that it wasn't KK who said the bale was discolored. IIRC, it was one of the detectives, maybe Slagle, who said it. He also said when the scent dog was placed up on the stacked bales, that it hit on that particular bale and it also hit on a spot on the ground in front of the stack. If the black tote wasn't leaking, it may have had blood or fluids on the bottom from being set inside KB's apartment. It also hit on a spot near the driver side back bumper of her car in KB's parking space. I feel sure that hay bale has been or is being tested. Jmo

I disagree. Agent Slater testified that KK took them to the barn and showed them two things -- the tractor and discolored hay bale (corroborating information from her interview). Slater also testified KK told them bale discolored because tote was placed on top of it.

I'm probably going to be blackballed for saying this but I feel like Cripple Creek is getting a bad rap with everyone! I've been up there probably about 20 times in the 6 years I've lived in Colorado and I have always had a blast there. It's just a tiny little town jammed packed with casinos. If you google pictures of Cripple Creek, the main drag is all there is to it, but it's so fun! Also, I don't believe that PF would hang out there very often. It's a good 30 min drive over a very steep mountain pass and very narrow 2 lane road that is extremely difficult to navigate when sober much less after tying one on. I've always used a DD when going up there to have a few drinks while gambling. IMO if the county courthouse were not located in Cripple Creek, which I'm shocked that it is, but I don't think Cripple Creek would be receiving the attention (mostly negative) that it is getting. I think this case is shedding a bad light on one of my favorite little mountain towns. PF would be much more inclined IMO to be a regular in towns like Florissant, which is a lot closer to the Franch and not such a cumbersome drive. Have a good day everyone, I'm off to pull another 12 hour shift.

Cripple Creek was being considered for the state capital at one time, this was many years ago, during its mining heyday.

There are some nice hotel/Casino's there, I would imagine the overflow would stay in Woodland Park, is the next closest town with motels and hotels.

So, are you thinking maybe KKL stated something to PF, when she found out about KB & Baby K, such as “if you really care for me, KB has got to go away for good.”? I’m still stuck on whether there really were any feelings toward KKL on PF’s part or was she just a booty call/friend-with-benefits who just happens to be as evil and hateful as him. Also I am not sure I believe that KKL just learned about KB & Baby K. Surely she kept up with the latest gossip thru the rodeo circuit, or I would think so.

I’m sure whatever happened inside that apartment In That 2 hr time frame was related to kB death.

Pf was there with kB and he left with KB’s phone.

She was dead when he left that day

I don't doubt that for a minute. I do wonder what exactly he was doing for two hours with Baby K there. Baby K must have needed a diaper change during that time or a cuddle if she got upset from the unfamiliar noises. I could be wrong, but I envision him attacking KB almost immediately. Then no phone calls (that we know of, anyway), just him and Baby K inside the condo with KB's body for a couple hours.

For some reason, I wouldn't be surprised if he searched KB's things.

I posted before, I actually think KK's account of finding out PF had a child has the ring of truth. She claims she found out and took baby clothes for gifts on her next visit. I think that was a slightly catty way of bringing up the subject. "Hey, you didn't tell me you had a little girl! (big fake smiles) So cool! I brought a couple gifts for her! Tell me all about her and btw, who's the baby mama?", all while she's seething inside because he's obviously lied and cheated, but she can't help herself, she still wants him.

Not surprisingly, KK says PF was angry and wouldn't talk about it (when she first confronted him with the information). That said, the cat was out of the bag, so to speak, and he probably picked up on a whiff of jealousy that he could possibly exploit.

I don't think he ever intended for KK to be anything but a long-distance and rodeo booty call. I can't help but wonder how they parted when they were younger? Did he break her heart? Clearly they didn't break up because she couldn't handle the 'cowboy lifestyle'.

As a Coloradoan, I agree with you 100%. It is an adorable little city (although it has lost some charm with all the casinos (I remember it before there was gambling)). But, it's certainly pretty touristy - not somewhere most people would hang out consistently, if you live near by, unless you're a regular gambler.

Okay, I'm prepared to get bombarded by the crowd j/k but I think it's possible that PF handed Baby K off to someone after he left KB's townhome the first time. I know KK said PF said she was there in her playpen in the back bedroom, and I know we have surveillance footage of him with the baby carrier <remember him and RS went back to make sure that PF was spotted at some point on his Walmart run with baby K> maybe it was just an empty carrier with a toy or doll in it.

Baby K could have well been at MommaF's ranchette that afternoon taken there by a caring fatherly type figure or picked up by someone else. Something about PF standing there in the middle of Walmart wanting to be seen by the CCTV with the car seat sends my hinky meter into the red zone.

If PF sent Baby K off to MommaF's and went back to KB's townhome to a napping or sleeping KB I can see how he could sneak right back in quietly and bludgeon her. I can see how he would then have spent a couple hours there in peace without worrying about baby K. It would have made cleaning up, removing KB from the townhome and transporting her to Nash ranch or wherever he put her much easier. Just think if you were trying to pull this off with a cranky, hungry, wet and tired 1 year old???

Call me crazy, but this is what I believe could have very well happened. I think it could have been one of 3 people in my mind.

All just my speculation.

I am replying to my own post to highlight something incorrect in my original post, this should read that RS and PF went to the bank (Woodland Park ENT) to see a transaction timeline of PF's for 11/22 and asked if the baby was noticeable when he went through ATM PF was observed at the ATM between 12:44-12:50 making three deposits and one withdrawal.

That could be. Maybe PF used one with a crack, or maybe damaged it with the tractor he used to place it on top of the hay. But, as previously mentioned, one would think the discolored hay would have been listed in the search warrant.

IIRC, KK didn't know about the discoloration because she never climbed the ladder and saw it. She did see PF climb a ladder and push an unseen tote to the front of the hay bale where he could reach it with the tractor.

When KK took LE to the barn and described what happened, they climbed up and saw a discoloration not visible from the ground - and the cadaver dog alerted on that discolored area, as well as a spot on the ground by the stack of hay bales.
