I would be interested to know if any of PFs family has been questioned or have also acquired representation. It seems pretty obvious they might have information important to the case.
Both the WP Police Chief and DA made a public plea to anybody with information to contact LE -- I'm sure this includes relatives and friends of PF. Unfortunately, it doesn't mean they will come forward. Hoping today brings the momentum to locate KB and reunite her with her family sooner than later....

And a passcode could have been something very simple and easy to know or guess, like her daughter K's birthday for example...
Every shred of evidence points to someone very close to her (or her) orchestrating a delay in anyone raising the alarm that she was missing. The list of people is really small.

So, you guys will probably think I am crazy, but I PF might be innocent. Most of the time, the guilty SOs put themselves out there way too much, and they put on this “do and say all the right things” face.

While I think this is bizarre, and I think his lack of caring and actions is bizarre, we don’t know the extent of their relationship. There is lots we don’t know.

That being said, there is something telling me this dude knows more than he is saying, but I am leaning toward another perp here. This whole story is too wild for me to even begin to point fingers yet. However, I could also be dead wrong. I’m sure we’ll know soon enough, hopefully.
The last time that KB was seen (by the Safeway camera) she had daughter K with her. She vanishes, and PF has K and has had her for 11 days with a text from KB's phone 3 days in. He never reported her missing. You have to admit that's unusual. He didn't even pretend to notice that she was missing.

Actually, didn’t PF allegedly say that he picked their child up in the afternoon and her mom says that KB said they’d be going out for dinner? So, conflicting or changed plans?
If the only source of when and where PF picked up the child is PF, I give zero credibility to that information.

I am not sure if they have a visitation schedule or custody arrangement of any sort through the courts, but the parents typically trade off on who gets the child on major holidays from year to year.
The difference here is that the PF and KB were engaged. They weren't estranged.

I had a thought when LE went in police car with child. For a moment I thought maybe they just wanted to get the child out of the house. In case LE would kill himself and child if feeling trapped.

Ethnic restaurants that don’t celebrate Thanksgiving?

The question is, how many restaurants in or near Woodland Park are open on Thankgiving?

This is from 2017, but here was a list of restaurants in Colorado Springs open on Thanksgiving. Do you think she would have made a reservation if they were indeed supposed to go out?

We are closer to the Denver area than the Springs, but we usually eat out or do take out on Thanksgiving and other holidays. Chinese restaurants are almost always open as well as anything in a hotel. This year we went with delivery from an Indian Restaurant, but there were plenty of options.

In addition to the Springs, someone from Woodland Park could have also driven to Cripple Creek or Pueblo for a Thanksgiving meal. When it’s a nice day, going on a nice drive can be part of the fun.

From day one, I found it very odd that PF would pick up the child on KB's day off and leave KB alone on Thanksgiving day, particularly because he watches her during the week when she is working. You would think that this would be KB's time with the child.
Does he have a job?
Not that caring for your child isn't a job, but...

It’s defnintely off. Scott Peterson reported Lacy missing though...CB didn’t report her missing right away either. That is also odd.

Like I said, we don’t know the extent of this.

Right on! How many new mom's want to spend thanksgiving apart from their child. From the day a woman gives birth she is planning her childs first ice cream cone. Very very strange. I'm not buying it.

We don't know that for a fact

Keeping an open mind about her telling her mom they had dinner plans...she may have wanted to placate her mom and in fact meant to have a quiet day alone. I know I used to invent stories to tell my mom so she wouldn’t fret about me being alone, though I preferred it.

A quiet day alone from her baby on thanksgiving? I take it you dont have children.

This has probably been answered, but, could he have mailed the phone to Idaho, or tossed it in with a delivery truck, and then spoofed texts from her number to himself and to her work? Use a VPN even if necessary? Would the phone still ping as an Idaho location in a spoofed text? I guess the phone would have had to have been on that entire time for that to work though, unless there is a remote way to turn the phone on?
On but in airplane mode with prescheduled texts for 11/25? Would the phone wake up, ping, send texts, then return to airplane mode? Isn't the point of airplane mode to not constantly (every 4 minutes or so) ping a tower?

Okay. I saw people talking about a possible change in custody of the child from Mom to Dad the day she disappeared and people wondering if they had separated. That’s why I said I was not sure.

I was finally able to watch the press conference and read a bit more about the current situation and I do stand corrected in thinking he was being questioned. LE has not said that PF is being questioned at this point in time so my question now is where were they taking him? Also I'm not clear if his lawyer was present during the search, does anyone know if he was?

Those are the facts as they've been laid out by LE and her family. The rest is conjecture. It's not what I'd call "engaged", but the point is, they weren't an estranged or divorced couple.

The part about going out to dinner is bugging me and I know it was discussed in earlier threads, but honestly, how many restaurants would be open on Thanksgiving night? Unless they were going to someone's house, and then was she there if that was the case? Just another loose thread in this mess of a case. I truly hope LE has way more evidence than they appear to.

I live in a tiny town that only has 6 restaurants to begin with and even we have at least 2 that are open on the major holidays. In the bigger city down the road you can pick from whatever you want. Some years we go out to eat instead of cooking. In addition to the restaurants being open, lots of big hotels host large buffets on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. It's never been difficult finding a place that's open to eat. Likewise, our family's tradition is to go to the cinema on Christmas Day. It's always packed.

I bet $50 they were taking him to his lawyer.

I would guess that was in answer to who retains custody of a child when a parent goes missing.
