What would the significance of that be, though? Patrick claims that he picked up their daughter on Thanksgiving and Kelsey's mother has said that they were supposed to go out for dinner on Thanksgiving. So, his truck being seen there would seem to be evidence of nothing. What I am I missing? Has someone said he wasn't supposed to be anywhere near Kelsey's house that day?
If she was seen getting in the truck with him it might be difficult though.

Because he fears he will be wrongly implicated in a crime he did not commit. Lets say for example he's interviewed and he tells LE he spent all day Friday and Saturday on his ranch. Then an eye witness comes forward and says they saw him with a shovel in his hand at the city dump on Saturday. If he has already pigeon holed himself at being home then he will be suspected of lying to the police. Even if he was indeed home all day and the person who was the eye witness was mistaken.

IMO thats horse.
If he truly was concerned for his fiancee and the mother of his child he's be jumping at the chance to contribute whatever, no need to hide behind a lawyer.

Chris Watts was scruitinized because he did it. The only was PF gets implicated is if he did it. He's showing his hand more by pulling this.

Of course. And they have the resources of other local, state, and federal agencies.

It may have taken a while for them to learn of her disappearance and determine what it was that they were dealing with, but they’re all over this now.

We just have to hope that the evidence is there that will lead them to Kelsey and the person responsible for this.

Whatever “this” is.
MassGuy, with Kelsey being gone for so long, LE May have already determined what this is and are tightening the noose so to speak. I am not too optimistic in a good ending. I believe the CBI being called in will help solve this. Still, if the person has a good lawyer, it may be a long while before we see a trial or even have answers.

Yes, where I live Thanksgiving is a big day for restaurants, but you have to make reservations far in advance.
It doesn't sound like Kelsey had definite plans for dinner that day. I don't think she was included in her fiancees plans with his family at all. She didn't say anything to her mom about the father picking the child up that day to go to his families home. It does not sound like that was the original plan. She did not bring the child to him, as was originally stated. He went to her house to pick the child up. Maybe his going there was unexpected, and there was an argument. It's hard to imagine he would take the child and not include her in the dinner plans, especially if he knew she was going to be alone. I would really like to know what he tells LE about his reason for not including her.
Also in one of the mother's tv interviews, she said: "There was the possibility of going out to dinner." It sounded like a vague, not definite plan.

I agree that Kelsey could have told her mother white lies about her relationship and fronted having holiday plans that perhaps she really didn't have. Maybe that's making it harder to sort out some of the information and what's accurate or not.

But I believe there is one person who knows those answers, what happened, and where she is. And that he is not being forthcoming with information.

I don't know what's worse...these guys who are guilty but act like they care and actively participate in searching for the missing person... Or PF who is seemingly doing absolutely nothing, cold as ice, and acts as if he could care less the mother of his child is missing. He wouldn't even show up for her vigil. Have any of you ever seen this type of behavior before in a missing persons case?

Here is my theory. She has gone missing before, but maybe not for this long. She has weird #recovery and #sober tags on her Instagram.

This would explain why her mom didn’t report her missing either.

PF and CB don’t want to put this info on blast. Again, JMO.
Maybe, as I do get the impression we aren’t being told everything.

Regardless, LE clearly doesn’t believe she willingly dissapeared.

This is almost certainly not a leap of faith in their part.

I still don't think either PF or KB had barely anything, if nothing at all to do with each other's family. Now I'm curious as to if the text message sent from KB's phone to CB's was something like her being off the grid for special work training for a week and not to worry. Here's PB's number in case you need anything, etc. But after a week she did worry and she did call and he was able to have a little control with what happened next.
I don't believe we have heard of any text sent from KB to her mother's phone.

Deputies arrived and cut the lock on the gate that leads onto Frazee's property, according to ABC News Correspondent Clayton Sandell.

Frazee was present when they arrived and later left the house with his daughter in the back of a sheriff's vehicle, according to ABC News.

Several law enforcement vehicles - including a K9 search dog unit and an FBI pick up with a wheelbarrow in the back- were seen driving up the dirt road towards the farm where Frazee keeps cattle and horses.

Later a convoy of search personal from Teller County Search and Rescue drove up.

Greg Couch, Sheriff's Office PIO at the scene, told Daily Mail.com: 'We're just giving him a courtesy ride off the property.

'He just left in one of those two cars. We're just giving him a ride, I don't know where he's en route to but he was on the property when we got here.

'When we do a search warrant we remove everyone so he's gone.'.

Frazee, a farrier (horse shoer) and cattle rancher, also lives with his mother Sheila police confirmed has also left the farm.

PIO Couch said: 'No ones on the property. The baby is with him (Patrick), everybody's safe.

Thank you PommyMommy!
Wow! Didn't know cutting any locks!!

Exactly. Hypothetically, say that you are estranged from your fiancé. Hell we can go further than that, say that they absolutely hate one another.

Don’t you still do everything in your power to find her? She is the mother of your child after all.

Not reporting her missing is incredibly suspicious.

Not helping to find her is unforgivable.

One has to strongly consider the idea that these two things are inextricably linked.
Just the fact that they did not plan on being together for the holiday seems suspicious. I wonder if he had actually invited her to dinner and then things went wrong after he arrived at the house.
But the fact that he was not concerned for her whereabouts or didn't report her missing is just not believable, imo.

My feeling is that for all intents and purposes, this is a homicide investigation at this point.

There’s a lot of work left to be done, and I’m not at all confident of a quick resolution.

Way too consumed with this, I never read that either. Lack of sleep.

For the one percent of us who don’t use social media like twitter, facebook, Instagram and the like, can you explain if you were actually looking at an account that belongs to KB and it had wording that said recovery and sober on it? Are you, or the site, suggesting she is an addict?

Maybe it was seen there for a long period of time or maybe a different time than he claimed to be there. Imo

I don't know. I do know that in another tweet Sam (the reporter) said he talked to DeYoung at the vigil last night.
MOO
They could have access to court records. That may not be sealed.

If she was his fiance, there should never have been an "exchange of custody". People who are engaged and have plans to be married celebrate together don't they?
If she asked about a recipe from her mom, she was cooking something.
If she was going out to dinner it doesn't sound like she was going out with him. If he was picking the baby up.
IMO they were no longer together.
Time will out it.

I can't see him burying her on his land. But, lots of land between CO and ID. Lots of time too with a message to employer (who else would have access to her phone AND know her employer). No text to Mom though. I wonder why. I am sure Mom would have smelled a skunk and rained on his parade much like SW's good friend. MOO

On my Pinterest board, I never leave comments but there are comments on some of my pins that have come from where it was pinned from. It does not have to be a site, most people pin other people's pins.

If this were to be true it is all the more reason for PF to meet with LE and be interviewed. He wouldn't need to filter his responses through an attorney would he?

  • #300
I would have to go back and listen to it but the bottom line is that they want him to sit down with investigators and he hasn't done that. Yet, his attorney says that he's cooperating. It doesn't sound like it to me.

If my SO was missing, the police wouldn't be able to get rid of me. MOO

^^^^ That.
I'm a private sort of person.... and have always been shy around people I'm not acquainted with.
BUT --- if my DH went missing...I'd be in front of pressers , LE, and any media possible; begging for help finding him !
