Does any body think PF was still online soliciting and chatting up chicks up to the day he was arrested? I do! Wonder what site he used?

  • #382
I know anything is possible, but ... most of us believe PF will plead not guilty on April 5, right? Anyone think he will plead guity? For whatever reason.

I think he might have been up until the time he got involved with KB and she moved. Then the baby was born. After that, I think things went south, and PF had KB and KK and no time for much else. Maybe he chatted online or via phone with other ladies, but part of me just can’t see him juggling multiple current relationships or searching them out. Maybe the digital trail of evidence will shed some light on that. Nothing would surprise me at this point.

Does anybody know what day they are on in the landfill search? I don't remember what day they began.

  • #385
I see him more of a slit the trailer tires of competition, give his competitions horse some Bute right before a performance , or perhaps whacking a leg with a tire tool to cripple them before a roping. I think he hides in the dark and does his dirty deeds.
Sounds like Jodi Arias

I'll state it more strongly than that: there's no way they're searching that landfill on a whim.

This search is incredibly costly, and requires a lot of expertise and painstaking effort.

They absolutely have some type of evidence to support that she's in that landfill; otherwise, that search never would have been approved. Too expensive.

JMO.

I wonder who in the city had to approve the funds being appropriated. Have we heard that? And if so, how much money was appropriated for the search? That's quite a bit of money for such a small town and County.

I have not been reading Kelsey’s thread as often...it seems every time I check in, more horrific details have come to light...beyond any imaginings when she first was missing.

Though I admit, from the first day, I felt she was deceased, as her disappearance seemed too unusual for her lifestyle. Still...no one could ever imagine what we have since learned...not sure I can recall a case where someone was more horribly betrayed in so many ways. Jmo

Tragically, One recent case of unimaginable betrayal comes to mind.

The Hart case. (The two mothers drove the six children off a cliff in California last year)

Sheriff and Coroner Tom Allman will be holding a coroner's inquest on April 3 & 4, to present the findings of the year long investigation to a jury, which is going to be live streamed through the Sheriff's Facebook page. For those who are interested, head on over to that case thread here at WS to get more information. CA - Hannah, 16, Devonte, 15, & Sierra Hart, 12, Mendocino County, 26 Mar 2018 #4

And I would expect the April 5th would be televised for this case.

RSFF:

WATCH Landfill search in Kelsey Berreth case could come with high costs

Just regurging this old video clip from back in Feb. re: the landfill search as it has some good info for review.
No specific numbers provided as to cost, but it does give comparable info that indicates the cost could approach 6 figures. Not cheap.

In this article from back at the onset of the search it states the search will take around 35 days or so:
How investigators will search a landfill for Kelsey Berreth's remains - CNN

Whereas this article gives a range of 16-80 days for the landfill search to be completed:
Fountain landfill to be searched for Kelsey Berreth's remains

Given that we're around 26 calendar days past the start date, with almost certain weather-related interruptions, it's probably safe to say that the search remains ongoing at this time.

It would be great if one of the local stations or media outlets would provide an update on the search progress, although LE and DA May may not want PF & Co. to be provided with any helpful updates, so there's that.

I prefer the more exotic "hoosegau"!! Or the Cajun "Hoosegeaux".

And check out my "wild" the bat. Yikes!
Ha! I’m Cajun and I get that spelling.

I went back through photos yesterday, comparing the few photos of PF pre-arrest and at his first court appearance with the few photos of his second appearance.

What a difference. He had a patented 'shy country boy' look during his first appearance and in his posed photos with KB and Baby K. He put on a face that he clearly thought expressed innocence and confusion about why he had ever been accused of such terrible deeds.

Contrast that with the photos of the second appearance. I think that's a glimpse of the personality of the real PF: his anger and frustration are obvious for all to see. That's the side that abusive men like PF rarely display to the public, the side that their victims are all too familiar with.

I would agree, they must have received some pretty specific information to search the landfill. I would guess that the State may be helping the county with some of the costs. It would be interesting to see how they are doing it.

I finally got around to watching one of his dog videos, a border collie chasing a few cows around in a small pen. Hilarious. "Up, down, up, down, up, down..." I loled. :)

Bumping for Kelsey.
Hoping for news soon from the landfill !

Not sure if this is possible... but could they use some of PF's bank account towards this search ?
Or charge it to the franchette ?
I know... it's way 'out there' thinking.

Godbless all the people searching the landfill. Anyone willing to do that as their job or as a volunteer to seek justice is good as gold in my book!

I checked KKL's nursing license status. It still shows "unencumbered", but it expires August 31, 2019. I suspect it won't be renewed any time soon.

From the link below:
UNENCUMBERED means that the nurse has a full and unrestricted license to practice by the state board of nursing.

Such a heartbreaking case! I heard or read here that DeVonte was never found. I am praying he got away without being murdered.

Frankly, I'm horrified her license hasn't been revoked yet.
KK plead guilty to the felony tampering charge back in February.
Part of her plea deal should have included her relinquishing her nursing license.
She's a menace working in any health care setting.
Clearly, the woman's demonstrated she has absolutely no regard for human life.

Somebody tell that licensing board to get the lead out.
Totally Unacceptable.

Agree a thousand percent. Had KB drank that coffee, KK might be classified as a murderer. Would that keep her from nursing? It should!

Yes. Absolutely.

As a former breast-cancer patient with multiple surgeries, I am very concerned about this. Plus, she is licensed to practice in multiple states.

I'm thinking the Nursing Board will not revoke her license until she is actually proven guilty and sentenced. Time will tell.

And lastly, may Today be the Day that KB's remains are found.

So sorry for what you have endured. KKL should never practice nursing again. Hope her reputation follows wherever she lands.
