He is so evil. Poor unsuspecting Kelsey. Idon't get that KK following his orders. How could she stand him? He sure had some hold on her. Did she help him cover up other crimes? He is absolutely hateful

He belongs in prison, forever. Poor Kelsey who trusted him.

KKK surprises me way more. You sleep with a man and then blindly follow his orders to kill another woman? How?

He had no hold on her, zero, nada. When she did not kill Kelsey, he did it himself. What if she refused to drive and clean? He'd do it, too. What if she didn't take the phones? He'd do it himself. Easily. So, morals aside, why taint yourself with accomplice to murder? Forever? Even with a plea deal, she has ruined own life, and she had a nice life.

And mostly, when she looked at the body of another woman burning in the black bag, couldn't she imagine own body burning like this, one day? Because murderers don't change.

ETA: I also noticed that the court record reflects that the Judge "reviewed" the order for sanctions on 5/27/19, but has not ruled.

Could you give me the link where I can see these court records? All I have for Colorado is the link to look up hearings & would like to see "what" is actually going on.

TIA! :)

They included:

Unknown DNA in KB’s apt
The gun(s)
The melted balls
Blood on the swiffer

Okay.... I'm NOT going to even ask what those are....

:p Funny! You just reminded me, I have some of those Pillsbury cinnamon rolls in the fridge that need baking. I think I'll do some "consumptive" testing of my own :D

Sure wish they had those here.... :(

Just a small correction Charlotte123. It was a "black plastic tote with silver handles" :po_O We flogged that horse for a good length of a thread!
I agree, how could she be under his control to that extent? Boggles our minds. But, apparently these pathological narcs are good at doing it. I watched a vid last night about it, focusing in on "cognitive empathy" vs. "emotional empathy". They tend to possess cognitive empathy which means they can read what your feeling and use it to manipulate you. When the recognize that your pulling away, they pump you up again just so they can tear you down later. Whereas others like us possess the emotional empathy that allows us to put ourselves in another shoes and FEEL what they are feeling. At least that's how I understood it.

I expect she did exactly that. But then put it to the back of her mind.

Not only was she able to justify, in her own mind,
the killing of Kelsey. But, how very desperate she must have felt about her life and her perceived need for the love of this monstrous man, to ignore her self-preservation instinct like that. IMO

Will someone please educate me on the melted balls?
Something in the bag/tote with Kelsey?
Everytime I read about the melted balls I flounder.

TIA!

I probably have missed something, because - I know it was a tote, I know about the handles, I am not sure one could put a body into it.

Even if Kelsey was petite, as I understand she was.

Perhaps the huge amount of blood in her apartment could be explained in a very prosaic way?

(It is nauseating to even think of it).

Iirc, one of our loyal members actually put herself into a tote to prove it could be done. Kelsey was indeed a petite woman.

Oh dear! The black plastic balls. @Niner commented:

When the devilish duo burnt the tote at the Franchette, Forensics recovered little black plastic balls from the ground beneath where the tote was burned in the round metal trough. They are part of the evidence which corroborates KK's story of what happened. Hope that helps.

And we can only hope some of Kelsey's DNA mixed in with the melted plastic before it hardened into balls.

Unlikely. Body is organic material, carbon, it burns. No DNA mixed with melted plastic. The ashes could have contained some bone fragments, and one could isolate DNA from bones, but I think that it is heavily degraded DNA because of the fire impact, and God knows what PF burned there prior to that tote. I think mitochondrial DNA could be potentially extractable from charred bones, but we don’t have even that, and this monster will never tell where he scattered the scooped ashes of his baby’s mother. :(

I hope that his own stupidity, the phone information, DNA from blood in KB’s apartment, and, sadly, the testimony from his accomplice, KKK, will be enough to sentence PF.

find myself thinking about kk a lot.
wondering in real time now we are sitting in a holding pattern how shes feeling about PF.
more importantly how shes feeling about KB
as she falls out of love and passion with PF and the horror of what shes done to that woman settles in.
has her jealousy and hatred for KB started evaporating? it will imo. well this, I hope for her.
compassion and regret. may this find you kk.

Honestly I'm not sure she is the type that will ever have much compassion for anyone but herself

But I will almost bet that she has anger and hatred for PF for not delivering on his happily ever after promise

I think she put all her faith in him and I believe that he sold her a fairy tale that could only exist if KB was dead

She will likely have regret, but regret for all the wrong reasons IMO

Every word of this post is spot on.

KK is a self-serving monster.

It's the LE's and DA May's good fortune that PF didn't recognize KK's self-serving nature, and trusted her.

He actually trusted her to keep her mouth shut.

"Oops!" PF goofed. Again.

PF and KK are a matched set, and by matched set, I mean a match made in Hell.

Too bad they won't be able to live out their happily-never-after ending together.

JMO.

my point was she will come down from her high of infatuation with PF and "I hope for' her to find regret and compassion.
she owes Kelsey that much.

Yah I agree with your point 100 percent!

I’m just not sure she has that ability

The ability to feel human empathy?

Doubtful.

The woman stood round the bonfire watching KB's body burn.

Then ate some pizza. On account of she was hungry.

I don't think little things like a conscience keep this woman up at night.

Well, clearly not. Because after she ate pizza, she took a nap.

I forgot about that bit.

KK sure postponed that horror for a long time.....all those months immersed in this murder plot and that one....

All those miles behind the wheel as she left her small children behind, fully expecting to follow through on killing another mother.

Then spending hours up to her elbows in blood, hiding the tote with PF, watching the fire burn.

Would you be surprised at all to find her eventually sending money to PF's prison account so he can buy his chewing tobacco?

Not me.

Time may pass but she will be just as dumb and unfeeling as she ever was.

Bless her children's hearts.

For her to feel compassion and regret, means she has to accept her own culpability in this story.

(And it is huge...to think that KKK could have prevented this by merely calling FBI in time. She had enough time to do it).

But she, like PF, is emotionally dumb. She is a nurse, she deals with lots of human waste. But to clean the blood, and possibly, brain matter of a killed woman, to look for the tooth... one must have a pretty strong stomach.

So it takes a lot to full guilt. She is self-serving, as posters have rightfully said. It is much easier to still blame Kelsey, to explain to herself that she "merely" wanted to help PF get rid of a "bad mother" for his child. This is the only way she can hide from pangs of remorse. I think this is where she is standing now, and will always be. And maybe, with time, she will simply forget it all?

She does not feel guilt nor regret. She feels fear, she does not want to go to prison for a long time, and it is her luck that she is such a valuable witness. But as a human being, she is despicable.

I hope mankind has a long memory, and that she will not have a "happily ever after".
