Agree - there is a possibility KK would have walked away unscathed ! I have a feeling as big of a Chicken S as PF is , he would of brought her name up.
I think PF's defense will focus on KK.

If it reaches trial, I think the prosecution will focus on KK, as well. MOO.

Oh they’ll almost certainly focus on KK.

Fortunately, they’ll have to explain away PF’s phone activity/location, that security footage, the burn site, the discolored hay, his multiple documented lies, and whatever else we aren’t privy to.

Plus the results of forensic testing, and that little problem with him communicating for days with a dead woman, while her phone was in close proximity.

And the fact that KK’s account was supported by physical evidence.

Also the compelling evidence that she couldn’t be the killer, because she wasn’t there.

Other than that, he’s in fantastic shape:eek:

I’ll bet the prosecutor is licking his chops.

Let’s get this show on the road!

BBM. It's a very big problem because KB's phone was in the hands of KK, who disposed of it after making a fraudulent interstate call to KB's employer.

KK also claimed the murder weapon was a baseball bat but how is she going to explain the missing bullet in her friend's gun and the lies told to the FBI?

I'll be shocked if PF decides to accept a plea deal.

The phone thing happened after the murder, so that won’t be an issue. She’s already admitted to all that.

She arrived a day and half after PF bashed Kelsey’s head in, so any missing bullet is irrelevant.

We also don’t know if one was truly missing in the first place.

Her lies to the FBI were uncovered in part, because of her phone location data.

That same type of data will bury PF.

The jury will hate KK, but if she ain’t there, she ain’t there.

KK's nursing license is due to expire on 08/31/21.

As of today, her status is "active".

Thanks for the update. I am surprised her license was not pulled because of her involvement. I would hope someone has notified the medical board, unless the regulations are very vague. I hope she does not try to renew it.

Unfortunately, she's not yet been convicted.

I'm certain there's no way she will be able to renew her license come 2021, and I doubt she's currently working. Don't imagine anybody knocking on her door to hire her. MOO

Yeah. People who participate in a murder coverup, allow that murder to take place in the first place, and nearly carry out a murder on multiple occasions, don’t have any business being anywhere near hospital patients.

I’m not the least bit worried about her ever returning to work as a nurse.

The "phone thing" most certainly is an issue because it delayed LE getting involved and allowed for destruction of evidence.

Just because KK says PF told her he bashed in KB's head with a ball bat doesn't make it true. KK lied to the FBI and the jury will know it. KK cut a very sweet deal and the jury will know it. The biggest problem for the prosecution is going to be KK.

I'm also betting the owner of gun with the missing bullet told the truth to the FBI.

iirc, KK entered a guilty plea. She hasn't been sentenced yet.

The prosecution doesn’t think she’s going to be a problem, on account of the fact that they cut her such a sweet deal to begin with.

They cut a deal because she is an asset, a tremendous, albeit flawed one.

What she has said, is supported by evidence.

How do you point the finger at someone who wasn’t there? You can’t.

The prosecution didn’t cut a deal without performing their due diligence.

Explain to me how the gun is relevant, if KK was already dead for a day and a half?

And it’s not about “telling the truth.” It’s about the possibility she is wrong.

It's good to come back here and realize that the facts remain the same, the evidence hasn't changed and justice is a little closer.

The Rodeo Queen was at her home when the deed was done so any shot she fired had to go a really long way to hit Kelsey.

Frazee was at Kelsey's home when the deed was done.

It is what it is.

I like that we know all this.

Exactly. It’s not complicated.

I don’t understand the concern at all. This case is solid.

PF made sure of that.

And I doubt PF even got to have a relieved moment when he learned the death penalty wasn't in the cards.

Surely he realizes that it will be easier to get people who will vote to convict him without that in the back of potential jurors' minds, it being Colorado and all.

I'm not clear of how any of this is relevant to the fact of the evidence that he killed her.

... she is not going to be on trial, he is.

The trial and the evidence is going to be focusing on him for sentencing and conviction, and what he did.

What she did after the fact, is a non-issue as to the murder itself, is it not? I'm totally not following the logic in the above post that it is going to be an issue. The defense may put it up there, but it has nothing to do with the murder. I don't see it as an issue.

I anticipate that the jury can weed through this subterfuge easily.

Commander Chris Adams, who was the lead officer in this case and highly visible in the landfill search, appears to no longer be a member of the Woodland Park Police Department. The website shows his replacement as former Patrol Sergeant Ryan Holzwarth, who has never been mentioned in news reports of this case.

Frazee to enter plea Friday; landfill search ongoing
De Young and Sgt. Ryan Holzwarth also thanked a myriad of local businesses for their willingness to donate meals to the search team.
