This will undoubtedly be easily defended by defense as he thought he was communicating, texting with Kelsey not her killer, KLK (Defense's likely suspect)

He also said he spoke to her on Sunday.

Replying to @SamKraemerTV
The call was recorded on the officer’s body/taser cam. Adams says it has a :30 delay. @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee

In the call, Frazee says he last spoke to her on Sunday. He said they had a heart-to-heart about their relationship not working out, wanting to go separate ways, that the stress of traveling to Pueblo for work was getting to her. @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee

I understand that, initially though I thought he made statements about the murder. But why, other than collaboration would they need DHS statements about contradictory statements, he allegedly according to previous posts made same statements to LE?
I think he went into even greater detail with the CPS worker, about where and how they traded custody of the child on Thanksgiving, etc. And I think his discussion with her, might end up proving that the poor child was actually present during the murder of her Mommy.

The jury will not like to learn that.

I'm done trying to discuss this. It was intended to be civil and healthy.

It's obvious there are misinterpretations of what the law actually states and the meaning. As well as misinformation by MSM and some posters..

Thank you, have a great day

BBM:

That is quite apparent.

If I may make a suggestion: You may find it helpful to read the information contained in the search warrants and arrest affidavit which are linked in Tippy Lynn's Most Amazing Timeline Part 3, which can be found on Page 1 of this thread.

Everyone who replied to your posts was quite civil and did their best to patiently answer the questions posed in a polite and helpful manner.

JMO.

Very sorry you feel this way, but I don't think any of us were responding in an uncivil or unhealthy way. Perhaps you have misunderstood us??

I thought I was agreeing with you. How was I not civil? *shrug*

I personally think the reason Judge Sells allowed Frazee's allegations about Kelsey allegedly abusing their daughter is because no one does or would believe him
On the other hand, wholly right or partially wrong, I believe Judge Sells allowed Frazee's alleged incriminating statements made to Federal DHS worker is because these are the only statements made by Frazee that could speak to his direct involvement in Kelsey's murder.

What I simply can't understand at all is WHY would Frazee make any statements incriminating himself in Kelsey's death, when he made no such statements to any LE officer from Teller County? Frazee, a man who has remained silent and securing a lawyer immediately, would implicate himself in Kelsey's murder in a conversation with a DHS worker??? He can make statements of alleged abuse by Kelsey without breaching subject of murder. I'm extremely skeptical of these "incriminating" statements considering His intent to finger another suspect, which people believe is KLK.

Just a little MOO from Memphis:

Some might be crediting Frazee with smarts that he's lacking.

So he clammed up with LE at the beginning because his LE brother ran interference for him and got him lawyered up? That worked for a little while.

Then it seems the caseworker (not LE) stepped in when the brains of the outfit (lawyer & brother) were absent and Cowboy Dumb-as-a-Brick said something supporting his guilt?

If he made statements to her that speak to his direct involvement in Kelsey's murder, doesn't justice demand that the jury hear them? Can we agree on that?

About fingering the other suspect, I would bet Frazee and his team have considered throwing anyone and everyone against the wall including the UPS man. Better look out, Mama!

I don't feel he was trying to incriminate himself. He had been and was alibi building. And THAT in itself is incriminating.

Oh dear!! I forgot about the UPS man! Under the bus is where someone is headed.

Exactly. At a bare minimum, he gave that social worker a timeline.

From the evidence we have seen, that timeline doesn’t come close to matching the one law enforcement has been able to put together.

It’s incredibly incriminating.

Definitely alibi building!

“Upon information and belief, Frazee had motive to kill Kelsey in that he wanted full custody of [Kaylee Berreth] and/or Kelsey to leave [Kaylee Berreth] with him and Kelsey would not agree,” the parents' attorney, Angela Jones, wrote in an amended civil complaint filed Friday in federal court on behalf of plaintiffs Cheryl and Darrell Berreth."

"The lawsuit claims Frazee told Cheryl Berreth a series of lies “knowing that Kelsey was dead because he had killed her, or caused her to be killed, on November 22, 2018.”

"According to the documents, Frazee told Cheryl Berreth that he met Kelsey on Thanksgiving at a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Colorado Springs."

"The documents also allege that Frazee encouraged false reports about Kelsey, including that the couple were not engaged, that Kelsey was not Kaylee's primary caregiver, that Kelsey had gone to rehab, that she had run off before, that she had abandoned the baby in Frazee's care and that she "had 'issues' that would warrant Frazee “getting full custody."

Possible motive for missing Colorado mom's murder surfaces for 1st time in lawsuit

I'm going to throw this out there and I would like your opinion.

For a couple hours now I've been reading through all this and posting things. And reading things to my husband. He looked at me just now and said, "with all the reading and research that you have done, is there any proof that she died in that apartment?" I said Yes!
He said to me, " No, you have proof her blood is there. All over as far as you have told me. But wasnt the ex girlfriend a nurse? Hun, have you ever consider the fact that nurses have needles and can extract blood???"

I just stared at him and told him not to throw a wrench in how I think this went down and go back to reading his newspaper (on the net).

Altho we laughed it did make me think....

First, KK would need to obtain Kelsey’s blood in the first place.

She would have to do so in quantity.

Then, she would have to plant it all over the house.

Then, she would have to make an effort to clean up this blood, as the blood in the bathroom was for the most part, observable only with chemicals and a black light.

She would have to be thinking really far ahead, because she actually removed items that were allegedly bloodstained.

Only Kelsey’s mother knew that things were even missing.

Planted blood doesn’t look like blood from a violent altercation (splatter).

Just way too many leaps here.

Just keep the "play by play" coming. Leave your hubby out of it :) Just kidding. He's entitled to an opinion

I'm enjoying the recaps of how PF utterly screwed himself :p:D

Blood coagulates too quickly for this to even be a possibility but kudos to Warwick's husband for paying attention. When I get in a verbal dither reading something on WS, my husband has to remove his headphones to listen and then I watch his eyes glaze over. When Frazee's trial starts I may lose him altogether!

Reading back over your comments, MassGuy, I'm pretty sure, "She would have to be thinking pretty far ahead" eliminates this theory!
