Another thought exercise.

If you think that the most likely scenario is that she went with PF and came into foul play, how many people do you think are involved in covering it up.

And why?
It all depends if you mean knowingly or unknowingly.

If he was the one who sent those texts and generated the ping, all he’d need is his mother to watch his daughter.

He apparently had the type of job that he could go somewhere and not be missed.

So I’d say 1, and I have no idea if she knew or not.

That’s of course assuming foul play and that PF is involved.

The Woodland Park Police Department is still working on establishing a reward for information leading to the location or the safe return of KB.

That is as far as today’s press lease goes.

No haven’t read anything regarding evidence found in the red truck.
That's exactly what I thought. Thank you for confirming! ;)

Most of the high profile cases I can think of had a least a few sightings. Of course, it usually wasn't the person they were looking for, but at least it meant that people were keeping an eye out for someone looking like the missing person.
Totally agree. There’s more than a few long haired brunettes out there.:)

I personally do not think 30 acres is small. I hope they look through every door and cabinet...EVERYWHERE

I agree. 30 acres is not a small area. LE may be using ground-penetrating radar and taking apart sink and toilet drains. They will be using UV light for forensic examination and collecting fingerprint samples. That is what LE does when conducting a thorough search of a property. They are not just walking around the acreage, looking for a misplaced leaf.

2 ... if PF's girlfriend was involved

2 ... if an old lover of KB is involved

I'm still waiting for an answer on that. It was explained very well by a tech expert in another case but I can't remember what was said. I want to assume it's accurate but when the police commander makes a statement about the possibility of it being a false ping, it tends to cast some doubt.

Here is what I found yesterday

15+ Best Fake GPS Apps For Android And iOS - Easy Tech Trick

I assume it works better for schoolkids' moms than for FBI investigators, though, but interesting.

No one.

PF is a smart man who immediately lawyered up, does not give interviews and stays off the radar. Such people usually understand the danger of having an accomplice.

Or if they do, the accomplice will eventually be in serious danger.

Yeah, my answer is similar.

I could see how if an elderly parent was told a half truth (I was just gone that long because I was grieving the breakup) or that it was an “accident,” they *might* somehow tell themselves covering up a fact is “ethical” (so the baby who already lost a mom doesn’t also lose their dad).

Even though he has the type of job where he could go and not be missed, it seems like he will have to provide alibis for where he was eventually.

There was nothing posted connecting the ping to the texts sent that I’ve seen.

Right and toss on a hat, winter coat...he’s a tall white guy in Colorado, you know? If the driver wasn’t paying extreme attention, or drives daily, he or she may not remember.
Exactly. I know when I travel, I have my earbuds in and just kind of keep to myself. But that’s just me. Just want to get where I’m going.

One possible motive could be child custody. They were not married. And we don't know for sure that he was even on the Birth Cert.

What if KB decided that she wanted to move back to Wash or Idaho, with her baby, to be closer to family, since she and PF were not really together anymore? How would he react to that?

I think he would be very angry at that idea. It would possibly trigger a violent response, imo.
She might have decided it, but usually one would tell it to the family, ask for help in the future. She spoke to mom about recipes.

What I can't discount is PF being jealous. He appears like a person who might get angry in the context of jealousy, regardless of his own romantic status. So if she indeed said she was breaking up because of someone else, he might have snapped.

I don't mean it to sound accusatory. But PF looks very different from CW. More aware socially but prone to emotions.

You’re right, but I also don’t think it’s a stretch to believe that they were inextricably linked.

That ping occurred on the same day that those text messages were sent.

If those texts were sent from different places, that would be huge.

But we haven’t heard anything to that effect.

Ok yall, cease the bun talk unless you are actively discussing something related to the case. Please and thanks.

I agree the source that has been cited for "evidence in the truck" and "1.2 mil reward" appears to be a blog, there is no author's name listed, etc. Please do not discuss these topics further unless reported by MSM/LE. I will be removing references to this info from the thread and will need your help to report if new posts discuss it.

Well for cryin' out loud, article updated:

Authorities believe missing Woodland Park mom could still be alive

UPDATE 12/14/18 3 p.m.
A reward is being offered for information leading to the location of a missing Colorado mom. The specifics of that reward were not announced as police get ready to sit down face to face with the missing woman's fiance for the first time since an investigation started on Dec. 2.

He simply tells his mom he is going hunting for the weekend ... like 30 million other people did that weekend.

She says cool ... good luck
