Perhaps every jurisdiction represented -- sheriff, police, CBI, FBI, Troopers..

If nothing else, they sent the message that they are working as a unified force.

And a huge, glaring character defect. imo
Exactly. Good people don’t abuse animals.

It’s not a stretch to believe that he is also capable of abusing people as well.

Yep. Heelers are herders as well, but in my experience can be very territorial and often will attach only to their owner and are suspicious of just about anyone else. Not my favorite dogs. Of course how they are raised matters but some of that seems a bit hard-wired in them.
I haven't found that they are one person dogs. In Australia as many of them are kept as pets as working dogs. They are territorial and will do a big inspection of their surroundings every day.

Trust me, they do. If they needed to follow up they could of all come in one vehicle. We are talking the Wild West here. In these small rural communities they make their own rules, to an extent, and the county judges back them up. I think they hope to make him nervous, or maybe his mother. I think they both know the truth.
Sounds good to me. I think he should be nervous. :)

They had atleast three separate agencies involved in the initial search.

It stands to reason that these three agencies would also be present at any subsequent searches.

Wouldn't you think that Verizon can tell if her phone was moving, and in what direction and at what velocity? TIA
With multiple pings they could derive direction and more exact location, however if it is a single ping on a single tower they would end up with a large circle. That circle is effectively line of site to the tower so could be very large in actual practice.

SABBM

So, the daughter is safely with CPS, now ?
I've missed quite a bit since being away from the forum.....
I had to go out for groceries. What did I miss?

An arrest, trial, and conviction!!!

That was one long shopping trip.

Not much. There was another law enforcement presence at PF’s mommy’s home today.

Five vehicles, and we don’t know why they were there.

This is the longest post I’ve made in my history on WS.

In my opinion this case lacks the unity I’d like to see within the family.

We all assume Kelsey was sweet, innocent and a loving and capable mother, a fine instructor and friend.

Yet...There has been no comments from any friends past and present, any co-workers, employers, flight students, teachers, classmates, neighbors, present church and pastor, (if she was a member) state anything regarding her character. Not even her father.

The only positive character comes from her mother who is carefully guarded and her uncle. Where in the attached link they state;

“This is completely out of character. Kelsey loves her god, she loves her family, friends and she loves her job. She doesn't run off and someone knows where she's at”. One article her mother included her “dog”.

(Not one word specifically stating about how she loves and cherishes her daughter Kaylee.)

In other press conferences on cases we’ve all seen here on WS, family members speaking on behalf make it a point to include how much the person loved and doted over their child”.

I myself would assume she was a very capable and loving mother.

Cheryl’s brother Ed Stanfill of Moses Lake...
“It's not normal. Kelsey and her mom typically talk quite often. I mean, they were attached to the hip since she was little. They were best friends”.

(If Kelsey and her mother were attached at the hip since she was a child and they were best friends why did her mother wait 10 days to report her missing?

As a parent myself not attached to any of my children at the hip. I would have made that call over Thanksgiving weekend. Especially when one of my grandchildren was involved.

It seems to me everyone has no hesitation to assume that PF did something to her, just as everyone assumes she would never leave her daughter.

We all want to assume all women with children who look as sweet and as innocent as Kelsey, would love and dote on their children, because we think about our own children.

All the wild speculation only adds to the existing pandemonium.
Vanished: Authorities investigating disappearance of ex-Warden woman

Let me ask you a question---a hypothetical.

Let's say for a minute that PF knew that not all of the things CB was saying about KB were true. Just pick a thing or two that CB said about KB--I don't care which. Say PF knew that CB had embellished the closeness of her relationship with KB, or that CB had falsely implied that KB had not acted erratically in the past, or just whatever. Again, this is just a hypothetical.

How would PF go about correcting any misimpressions without looking like the bad guy?

I think that is why so many farmers around here have them. They protect the chickens, and warn off coyotes, etc and warn if someone shows up.

At least her family loves her and is looking for her. What has PF done to help? Absolutely nothing. That includes HIS family too. Sad, but true!

Have a friend of family member go on the attack.

Possibly on social media.

As long as there is no direct link to him, he would be somewhat insulated from the blowback.

ETA: That’s how I think he would do it.

If I were him, and I had nothing to do with this, I would have reported her missing, publicized her disappearance, and conducted interviews.

I would want to find her, regardless of what was going on.

I’d also want to alleviate suspicion of me.

It’s a bit late to unring that bell now.

IMO it shows a huge lack of impulse control and lack of empathy. The same people who hit their pets also are very likely to hit their spouses

Shortened by me
Kelsey's mom talked to her on Nov 22nd and when she didn't hear anything from her again by Nov 25th, Kelsey's mom called the police. They went to her duplex to do a wellness check. Kelsey's mom is not a "negligent mom".

We know Kelsey's mom had communication with Patrick on Nov 25th. Apparently he told her something to pacify her to the point where she didn't send Kelsey's brother to check on her until Dec 2nd. I'll guess that Patrick lied to Kelsey's mom that said they had broken up and Kelsey was going on a long trip to Soap Lake, Washington.

ITA. I do believe there was a welfare check on Nov. 25. and PF's response bought more time until Dec. 2, when the missing person report was filed. JMO

I instantly envisioned Blazing Saddles while reading your post. :p

I concur that both mom and PF know the truth. However, in my imagination, she's not some little woman who scares easily. Far from it.

  • #737
Early in the investigation he provided his phone and DNA to authorities.
Wondering if he actually turned his phone over to LE, or allowed them to look at it; and then took it back from them ?
I'd imagine it could take a while to look at calls made/received, and to unlock deleted calls or texts ?

  • #738
Some folks have posted about Kelsey's friends not saying anything, but I see several on their FB pages posting updates about her being missing. They probably know that many groups would dissect their every word and don't bother joining them. I can't say that I blame them, either.

As much as I worry about the baby, I am also concerned for PF’s mom. If things are getting tense who knows what could happen? If she questions him, he might become abusive with her too. JMO
