Since I'm old and can't remember squat, DO we have a "Tom" in our list of um....characters?
Haaaa. “Tom,” is short for “tomorrow.”

I think it may have been an abbreviation for "tomorrow," and if I'm recalling correctly, that was one of the things that struck CB wrong...I think she said that isn't how KB wrote in her texts, i.e., she always used complete sentences.

I think that's right, but I'm not positive, so don't quote me on that.

The motive given by CB via the civil suit was that it was about custody of baby K. It wasn't about paying support. It was about having full control.

BBM:

"We Live In Hope."

Next to PF being convicted and sentenced to mandatory life behind bars, there's nothing that would make me happier than to see Ma F. tossed out on her ear the same way that she tossed KB out of the franch.

It would be poetic justice.

JMO.
Amen to that!

Well we thought they were evil before, but Cheryl’s testimony made that word (evil), completely insufficient.

They’re the family from hell; the type of people that usually only exist in horror movies.

I was being nice using the word "evil" so I wouldn't have to stand in the corner in time out. "Monsters" even seemed too tame.

Let's just say that these are people (?) I never want to know or meet in a dark alley. Moo, Moo

  • #1,527
Yeah, what’s up with sister girl having KB sit on porch? Sounds like a bad B movie about inbred hillbilly fam.
JMO
LOL!! Oops sorry did I just laugh out loud?!

  • #1,528
They say “real life is stranger than fiction.”

In this case “monsters in real life are worse than monsters in any work of fiction.”

Vile people. Someone should put them in touch with the Watts clan.
If you made this stuff up for a movie, it would never fly....it would get shut down because it's just not realistic. Because surely people never really act like this....right..it's just not believable.
And yes, similar to the Watts clan. ick

It says a lot about PF as a 'man' ---that he'd allow his sister and mother to make his girlfriend sit on the porch, instead of coming inside.

If I ever tried that with my son's girlfriend, no way he'd make her sit outside. He'd leave with her immediately, and probably wouldn't talk to his sister or me for quite awhile.

But they seemed to say this was the usual thing when KB was over when the sister was there. What a strange and dysfunctional family dynamic.

or

kk was trying to pretend she was never there...seen by no witnesses.

I don’t think KK was concerned about witnesses, as that’s a remote area. Hell, they weren’t even concerned about people spotting a fire.

I think you hit the nail on the head with your first theory; KK wasn’t good enough for PF either. She didn’t enter that house, because she wasn’t allowed to enter that house.

SF wouldn’t have it.

I think we all imagined that when she took a nap and PF brought her pizza, it was in a bedroom or something.

Wrong!

We're bound to hear many more girlfriend stories, I'm thinking.

WHOAH is RIGHT!

And the only reason, the ONLY reason, this would have been mentioned by the prosecution in the opening arguments is because that fragment has been tested.

It was a teaser.

And guess what, folks?

*Spoiler Alert: It's going to be a tooth fragment.

It's going to be KB's tooth fragment.

He's. Toast.

JMO.
Let's hope that the very act of knocking KBs teeth out of her head is the karma nails PF's own coffin shut.

Poor KB....she is strong like her mother. Her body was beaten but she still speaks..literally from her own grave.
She did absolutely nothing to deserve this treatment from PF and the F family. So glad lil K is nowhere near any of them any longer!

What an idiot he was for texting that. You would think he would know she always texted in complete sentences with punctuation.

Imo
Perhaps he was aware, but stymied. “Tomorrow” is a pretty big word after all. And those apostrophes can be so darn confusing.....

That's what I was thinking too. No spellcheck on his texting app...

snipped by me....

She knew, as we all do, how vindictive and violent PF is when he doesn't get his way.
She was in the delivery room when Baby K. was born.
She saw him lose control and go off.

I don't recall "what" actually happened in the hospital - getting old!

Can some give a brief synopsis on this? TIA! :)

Guys & Gals, Who do you think the prosecution will call to the stand after CB? Will they continue along establishing who Kelsey is or do you think they'll start into LE aspect?

I will have to say Kelsey's bro.

:bump: for @Niner re baby in the hospital. If the link does not show up when I post this, move up to the original post to read.

BBM:

No, it surely didn't.

It's worth revisiting and recalling what really DID happen in that hospital delivery room, though:

Killer fiance Patrick Frazee almost lost custody of daughter after delivery-room tirade | Daily Mail Online

SABBM:
It turns out however that Frazee almost lost custody of his daughter just hours after she was born, following an abusive tirade directed at hospital workers.

That was detailed by Berreth's mother Cheryl to detectives and included in a Search Warrant Application that was obtained by DailyMail.com.

'Cheryl shared a story regarding the birth of Kaylee. Kaylee was born three weeks early and required special medical care,' reads the warrant.

'That special medical care prevented Kelsey from having Kaylee in her hospital bed.'

It goes on to explain: 'Patrick was very upset about this because he believed the first few hours of birth needed to be spent with mother and father for bonding purposes.'

'Patrick became so upset and verbally abusive with the nursing staff that Social Services was notified,' Cheryl told investigators.

'Kaylee was removed from the care of Patrick and Kelsey until a safety evaluation could be done to determine if Kelsey was being physically abused by Patrick.'

Cheryl went on to say that Patrick said he should have 'killed' the nurse later, and even joked about the incident at his daughter's first birthday.

This has concerned me for a while. Many cases where somebody goes missing (Heather Elvis for instance, a no body case in Carolina many here followed) they give the Lesser charge or another charge that someone was kidnapped, and they are successful in getting that charge, but not the murder charge..

I think this may be where they (defense) are headed to, as Patrick does not have a kidnapping charge.

They could allude that possibly the jurors may consider he kidnapped her, but KKL killed her? Therefore creating doubt amongst the jurors that he did not do first-degree murder, but he may have done the kidnapping.. yet there is no charge for that.

I tend to believe this is the existing strategy by the defense after looking at the charges he has.

I know it does not make sense, because where was she for 3 days before KKL appeared in town that his mother and others did not know about.

Defense looked at everything, and the evidence.

I think the defense is putting those together so that he gets off of the murder charge because there is not a lesser charge (e.g. kidnapping) that the jurors might considered??

I'm thinking this is a void that the defense is driving a Mack truck through.

Jury selected for Patrick Frazee murder trial, opening statements begin
SABBM:

Ashley Porter, one of Frazee's defense attorneys, said no murder weapon has been found, Berreth's body hasn't been found, and the only blood jurors will see is "tiny, minuscule spots of blood under the floor boards." She added that Frazee has cooperated with law enforcement, gave his phone, and took pictures in the nude so investigators could see any marks on him.
