Judge Sells made a point Friday of saying his rules weren’t meant to be “punitive,” only to safeguard trial. Today he told us that if we talk in gallery, we’ll be relegated to back rows in court. Defense complained they couldn’t hear, he said. @csgazette #PatrickFrazee

That judge is a real hard a..

IMO Absolutely there was clear incentive.
I do not believe for a second anything PF did had anything to do about lil KB. It was all about control. Control of what is the million dollar question, that quite possibly has to do with a lot of dollars as an answer.
Hopefully we will find out that answer to the question.

In my line of work I see too many parents who do not give a you know what about their children or their welfare. But they fight viciously and go bankrupt protecting their rights to possess and control their kids.

It’s crazy. But very common.

Just look at the Dulos case.

Officer describes 'lack of concern' from Kelsey Berreth's fiancé after her disappearance
The first member of law enforcement to call Kelsey Berreth’s fiancé after she was reported missing said two things seemed amiss to her during their 15-minute phone conversation.

“The lack of concern, maybe, and there was no … date on the exchange of the child,” Woodland Park Police Department Cpl. Dena Currin said in Teller County court Monday morning. “Those are the only two things I thought were odd.”

[...]

During Currin’s testimony, the prosecution played a recording of the first phone call between Frazee and Currin. During the conversation, Frazee tells the officer that he and Berreth had broken up and were determining how to split custody of their 1-year-old daughter.

[...]

“We lived such separate lives for so long,” Frazee said. “Our exchange of our daughter was in passing.”

[...]

Frazee also told Currin he had returned the gun, something the prosecution claimed during opening statements was his attempt at creating a narrative that Kelsey Berreth had perhaps taken her own life.

[...]

“When I gave her possessions back, that was something that we had addressed was, ‘Hey, you’re not going to do anything crazy?’” Frazee was heard saying in the recorded phone call. “Just our lives have grown so far apart in the last year 1/2, or great, I just wanted space and time to figure things out.”

[...]

“The last text message was at the end of the week, part of the managerial duties is to close the timesheet for payroll," RS said. “And that was the mental prompting that OK, kind of like when we lose a radio in the aircraft, we’ll transmit to the blind. So this was without any response, just transmitting in the blind stating, ‘I don’t know if you want to submit any PTO for this week, but if so, now’s the time to get it in.’”

[...]

“I think the first text message I sent that she didn’t reply to was, ‘What do you want for Christmas?’” CB2 said. “I asked what Patrick, [Baby K], etc. want … I didn’t get a reply from that.”

He sent another series of messages asking if an ornament he had sent to his niece had been delivered.

“No reply,” CB2 said.

Yeah, I think PF IS TOAST. Between Officer Currin saying that pf had a lack of concern for Kelsey's whereabouts, not remembering when he exchanged his child*, and the prosecution explaining that pf was creating a narrative. It's over. He's toast.
Note to PF: It was on Thanksgiving. The rest of the world knows.

If you think he’s “toast,” just wait a while. The prosecution hasn’t even gotten to the physical and digital evidence yet.

Or KK.

Right now they’re just painting a picture of a manipulator and a liar. Its about to get worse for him, a whole lot worse.

We can’t watch this live, so the reporter’s descriptions are helpful in visualizing things.

I want everything I can get.
Absolutely !

Can someone remind me again if we know details about why PF went through the drive through at the bank? He withdrew money right?

AND didn’t LE take some bank records for the estate from the franch?

Bet we see those at some point presented now....connecting the dots.
IIRC, He made three deposits and one withdrawal.

And yes, bank records of some sort were taken from the ranchette. My memory is a little fuzzy on that, though! :p MOO

Why lie to everyone about KB being abusive? Narcissists MO. If they cant control someone, control how others see them...
.

Absolutely!!

PF is textbook narc -- beginning with selling KB on the idea to move to Colorado. It was "no job, no problem," and then she saw the bait and switch. Narc cannot sustain "love bomb, nice guy" to their primary supply for very long. Nope -- PF had to revert to devaluing KB for the final discard.

MOO

And of course he returned to that bank with his creepy “father figure” friend.

Because he knew that his vehicle was caught on surveillance.

Basically, “what footage do you have that could come back to bite me in the 🤬🤬🤬?”

And can't forget 46+ calls to KK, and NOT ONE call to KB after she was reported missing...

Kelsey Berreth murder case: Officer says Patrick Frazee's seeming lack of concern for missing fiancée stood out
[...]

“We basically had a heart to heart that this wasn’t working out, that she wanted to go our separate ways,” Frazee told Corporal Dena Currin on Dec. 2.

[...]

Frazee’s apparent lack of concern during the call stood out, Currin testified during the murder trial of the Florissant rancher.

[...]

Questioning of Berreth’s mother, Cheryl Berreth, also revealed facts about Frazee’s seeming lack of concern. While the search for her daughter was underway, Frazee did not call his fiancee’s mother or attend a candlelight vigil for Kelsey, Cheryl Berreth testified.

I’d be shocked if he wasn’t called. He featured prominently in one of the arrest warrants.

He knows things.

I dunno. Why lie to everyone about Kelsey being abusive? I think that was his first attempt to gain custody, and it clearly failed.

As a result, he killed her. An added motive could come from that estate battle, and what Kelsey knew.
I think another motive might be that he didn't like having to handle the child care exchanges; it was inconvenient for him. MOO

Trial Day 2: Roll Call.
Who's Here for Kelsey?
Better late than never!
The most difficult decision of the day is whether to start at the end and read backwards or just crawl through.
I'm praying for Kelsey's family today.

Frazee trial: Witnesses explain suspicions after woman disappears
[...]

Dec. 4 — Cheryl said she noticed several things were awry in the apartment:
· The thermostat was set to about 72 degrees, which was unusually warm. Kelsey would normally turn it down when she leaves the apartment
· The garbage seemed full and had not been taken out. The garbage cans were not in their normal spot.
· Film from cleaning supplies was in several places in the apartment, including the TV, loveseat and stove, among other locations

As she walked around the apartment, she put a photo of Kelsey and Frazee face-down, Cheryl said.

In the days afterward, the community held a candlelight vigil for Kelsey. Cheryl said Frazee did not attend. In addition, she said she never saw that he posted anything on social media asking for help finding Kelsey.
