I believe it was a Toyota vehicle. I read the statement as the last check he gave KB was $150 short and then stubbed it as license and registration. I may be totally off on my interpretation , will go back and check.

Yes, it was about $150 short and indicated it was for taxes and registration.

He did not pay court ordered support so it's hard to say what the agreement was. Apparently it was $700 a month but they may have had an agreement that he was to pay for certain things.

Either way, he only payed it for about four or five months it seems, (although at one point I thought it was said to be only for the first three months) and then he just stopped paying it altogether.

I doubt he ever intended to pay her anymore than that last check.

At the prelim hearing she was the State’s first called witness.

I think the estate was being split 3 ways with the Franzee kids. I think the dispute was most likely that PF would either need to buy out his siblings or sell the ranch. I doubt PF had the means to buy his sibling out and MA F and PF were going to be out of the ranch. I personally don't think the estate dispute was what drove PF to murder KB. I think the thought of his current financial situation along with the possibility of paying child support added to it, but I don't think it was the driving force.

Geesh! I'm just coming in at this point from reading some this afternoon! It's now 9:25 pm in Ohio. If you look up the property on the county site the Franch was turned over to MaF from RF back in the 90's I believe. I searched that info a long time ago. And I believe we discussed it might have been a divorce settlement at the time. I know I got my hands smacked by admins and couldn't post for a few days because of TOS! Now here it all is!

A good possibility...some how the family may be connected to the loan. Could the lender place a lien with the estate?

Not so sure PF was in good graces with mama. We'll see...

I wouldn't think on RF's estate, rather on mummy's franch. If SF co-signed she becomes responsible for the loan. If PF defaulted she's left "holding the bag" so-to-speak.

Honestly, I think there are multiple shots of PF with his back to the camera in short period of time because he is well..removing KB from the condo somehow. She's either in the tote and he's maneuvering it over the threshold, or she is in a garbage bag and he's dragging it through the doorway. I could be wrong, but he is busy coming out of the doorway in not a natural manner.
Poor KB.

KB was planning on going to dinner with PF on Thanksgiving according to what she told her mother. Her co-worker testified that she planned to bring PF to the company Christmas party.

PF was cheating on her and plotting her murder. MOO

IMHO, Kelsey thought they were still a couple and would get married as soon as PF worked out his financial issues. PF on the other hand probably felt pressured to step up and was unable or unwilling to do so. Plus, he'd have to defy his mother and his sister to marry KB, and as dysfunctional as this family is, he was too weak to stand up to them. Poor KB. She had no idea. MOO

What caught my attention in the reporter's live video was the part about investigators searching Kelsey's computer and finding searches for medicines and things related to Patrick's stomach issues the night before the murder. It matched the timeline of Kelsey going out - IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT - to get him meds.

I mean, we knew this. But it's just so terrible that she was being such a good partner and taking care of him while he was planning this horrible thing and had already tried to have his girlfriend kill her a few times. It also leads me to believe that Kelsey very much thought they were still a couple at this point.

Pleasantly surprised that the brother testified for the prosecution and didn't protect his brother. Glad he did the right thing.

Kelsey's body could even be on some sort of low rolling cart that can't be seen by the camera.

Patrick knew he was going to kill her so changing his clothes and preparing an easy way to get her out may have been among the limited "executive thinking" plans he made.

He decided to roll the dice, and I don’t see that changing. Each day things get worse and worse for him, and that’s all but certain to continue.

Yes and remember how most everyone here said "No way PF dumped anything incriminating at the local dump spot, he can't be that stupid"? Well.........

PF is the 'stupid' gift that just keeps on giving and I am thankful for it.

I think RS told him to make the dump, and nothing belonging to KB was in it. I honestly think they would have a better shot at finding KB on Nash Ranch somewhere.
