KB went to Nedley Clinic in August 2018 and was diagnosed with severe, non-suicidal depression.

I'm not sure how much stock we can put into the information about Baby K's insurance since that came from PF, IIRC. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong but it just strikes me as rather odd that Doss would call PF about a change in KB's insurance.

We have no idea if KB was okay with not receiving any child support or if she complained to anyone about it. Just because we haven't heard of any complaints yet doesn't mean there weren't any.

Since the child support payments stopped in July 2018, that could very well have contributed to her depression. MOO

Well said. You explained this perfectly---I can even understand it. lol

As someone elderly who has been hospitalized for 11 days in 2015, then Rehab for 2.5 weeks, I do not want released/paroled felons to be responsible for my nursing care. They can take a medical history...write on paper/computer...but do not touch me or administer meds/care, Etc.

I thought it said "including Mom's house." Which is why I was under the impression that maybe she was allowed to live there until either her death or her children were all out of the house.

I'm afraid that brother SF2 dropped the hint that decedent's estate had a connection to SF but never got to expand on it after the defense objected to the line of questioning. DA May got in on the record and didn't push it.

It could be that RF estate included 1/4 acre of the franchette, or 30 acres. There was only enough info stated in Court to confuse!! MOO

Yes, and part of the agreed upon child support would be his share of that medical insurance, I'd bet.

Do you remember if the Doss employee was asked about this, though? AFAIK, it came from PF so I'm just wondering how accurate it is. MOO
I think the point of the phone call from DOSS to PF is that PF could continue the child's health insurance by paying COBRA payments.

I have. I think killing the mother of your child qualifies.

And being verbally abusive and terrorizing her (witnessing the animal abuse) while she was alive.

Is the condo in a trust or an LLC? I don't know about anybody else but I'm not about to buy property to provide rent-free to someone my adult child is dating. Do we know details about the $70,000+ loan such as terms and what kind of loan it was? I sure don't consider the stoppage of voluntary child support to be a motive for murder. I've seen no evidence whatsoever that PF wasn't a good dad.

JMO

Well, unless you consider the murder of the child's mother. There's that.

Sam answering questions:

KK was not on camera. Camera doesn’t always pick up things.

PF was seemingly more attentive to SF2 than any other witness today.

Jury asked for more details on certain things (good sign).

Not releasing when KK will be called.

Someone asks Sam to describe the tote. It’s probably 4 feet wide and 2 feet in depth. I think he means 4 feet long (not a great description).

They broke down each time PF appears on camera. Can’t tell if he’s coming and going.

They didn’t say in court what PF bought at Walmart.

Not known if PF had life insurance on Kelsey.

Why is there no video of the tote at Kelsey’s house?

Sam says there’s never a photo of the tote. The fence obstructs the image from the waist down.

SF waits in the lobby every day because she’s not allowed inside the court.

Sam says that he’s never going to ask if KK was pregnant. Just not comfortable asking it.

Thanks MassGuy, for listing Sam's answers.:)
Makes things easier.
So KK may not be on the stand, first thing tomorrow.

I think we’re all hoping that’s the case. If not tomorrow, I think Friday at the latest.

Nobody with any convictions related to a violent crime should be allowed any near the medical profession.

Has her license been yanked?

It doesn't matter if he is an adult or not. He would still need a co-signer if he didn't have a high enough credit score and consistent income. Selling cattle dogs and being self employed as a farrier wouldn't be enough to get a mortgage okayed. You need solid, provable income.
PF would not need a co-signer and if it was related to his cattle business, it was NOT a mortgage secured by his mother's house.

Do you have proof PF didn't pay income taxes? Do you know his credit score? Please post it here.

PF is an adult with a credit rating just as everyone else. He got a $70,000+ loan according to testimony. No testimony has stated that loan had anything to do with a co-signer or his mother.

I don't remember a thing about insurance in that phone call though. Do you have a link for the phone call? Here's what was discussed at the preliminary hearing:

Slater said Doss Aviation’s HR Director Jennifer Banks told him that she talked with Frazee after Berreth’s disappearance. Slater said Banks told him that Frazee said Berreth dropped their daughter off and said she didn’t want anything to do with him anymore.

HR director: Jennifer Banks. Banks told CBI her conversation with Frazee happened on Dec. 3. Frazee told her Kelsey dropped the baby off, said she didn’t want anything to do with him anymore.

Frazee also reportedly told Banks that Kelsey had drug & alcohol problems. Banks found that odd as no one she worked with pointed that out. Banks thought her fatigue derived from being a mom.

Nothing about Baby K's insurance. Definitely nothing about COBRA. This is why I'm questioning PF's account of the phone call. I haven't seen his version corroborated by anyone from Doss Aviation. Have you? MOO

So scerred she had to go to Vegas to get the murder/ cleanup off her mind.

Hope she lost loads of money.:D
Hope also that she was very drunk, and confided in others about her evil past.:D

He hasn't been convicted. But he has been charged with 8 felonious counts, including 1st degree murder, been held without bond, and the initial hearings released a tremendous amount of damning evidence.

He is closer to becoming convicted of murder, than anyone else I can think of.

The phone call was part of SF's testimony. He said PF told him Doss had contacted him.
COBRA is a federal law. It works the same for everyone and Doss was required, by law, to notify PF because he was the child's legal parent.

During that call, Patrick also said he’d received a call from Doss Aviation about canceling Kaylee’s health insurance because Berreth hadn’t been working enough.
