Why am I thinking about that missing bullet? I hope they searched the area around the hay stack for a casing. The picture in my head of what KK possibly did as she saw the tote on the hay, is alarming.

I totally agree. I think she was going to be his next victim, if he was somehow cleared with this one. She knew way too much.
Me, too! I really think he was sick of the both of them.

I truly think that Patrick was trying to frame Krystal right from the first time he asked her to murder Kelsey. He waited for three attempts for her to do this- I just bet that he had it planned that he was going to go to the condo and find Kelsey deceased and play an upset fiance role. When Krystal just couldn't do it, I think he got so angry, he took it out on Kelsey, all of his rage.

I am really interested in hearing how the defense goes after Krystal.

The prosecution is about to do us one better than merely tell us what the chemicals said.

They’re going to tell us whose blood that is.

In their opening statement, the prosecution described blood under cushions, under floorboards, and on the fireplace.

They also mentioned a baby gate.

They didn’t tell the jury these things just to turn around and embarrass themselves by saying “it isn’t blood,” or “it isn’t Kelsey’s blood.”

It’s going to be Kelsey’s, and it’s going to be yet another nail in his coffin.

And LE's confidence in that evidence has kept that good l'il father locked up without bond for the better part of a year. I'm not worried.

It wasn't employment, it was health insurance for the dependent being terminated and you are right, it would also require written confirmation. Was that confirmation and how to enroll in COBRA received? I bet it was.

JMO
They would not be contacting him about someone else's health insurance. They would be contacting KB about it.

PF would have no rights to enroll in COBRA, would he? He wasn't part of the insurance plan.

The child was enrolled through her Mother. They can't just continue the COBRA plan through her father now. He was never paying the initial premiums.

And why would COBRA be kicking in just a few weeks after she stopped working? She'd have a 6 month grace period.

Right. The Cobra insurance info was sent to your husband's address---as he was the primary insured, through his job.

The Cobra info would have gone to Kelsey's address and to her phone number.

And I don't think the insurance would have ended so abruptly. It usually has a 6 month buffer after someone leaves their job. Why would the insurance be stopped just weeks after she quit working?

I don't believe this lying liars story about that call.

The COBRA info would have gone to Kelsey's address but she was missing and her employer knew it.

I believe PF's story because of the timing and also because he had no reason to lie about it. KB last reported for work in November. Doss was being compassionate for the child's well-being by contacting PF in December. Nobody knew why KB wasn't showing up for work and was no longer communicating with her employer.

Our phone number had nothing to do with COBRA. Notice was via mail and it was done a month in advance of DD's 26th birthday. There was no 6 month "buffer" after our daughter aged out. COBRA started the first of February after she aged out on January 16.

can someone fill in the timeline when it comes to the location of the baby? i have read that the 3 were seen together at KB condo between noon and 1pm. then the baby was with PF during trips to store and bank. then PF goes back to condo and is seen leaving around 4:30. it seems there is a gap in where the baby is between about 2:30 and 4:30 at least since the baby never turns up in any more photos.

Sam's live FB video tonight alluded to the custody hearings will continue until a verdict delivered on PF.

Obviously, if PF acquitted, he will want baby K back unless the Court prevents it. MOO
Oh dear God, no.

Leave that poor baby girl where she is right now- loved and in a safe environment.

Probably inside the condo watching her good ol' father murdering her mother.

In all seriousness, PF isn't seen on the camera in between this time either. I believe they were both inside the condo.

The bigger detail will be LE used chemicals throughout the residence to
Yes, dogs are tools but they were not the only tools used in KB's condo. We have yet to hear if the chemicals LE used to detect cleaned up blood alerted to a high amount of blood residue anywhere outside of the bathroom.

Patience. It’s coming.

Kelsey's child was not aging out, like yours was.

But if your husband was laid off or quit working, he'd have a 6 month grace period before his benefits were terminated. They use your earnings from one quarter than give you coverage for the NEXT quarter. So Kelsey had already worked for the coverage for the next few months.

There is no reason for her child's coverage to be terminated weeks after Mom went missing.

And of course he had reasons to lie about it. He had reasons to lie about everything because he was so in over his head.

He was talking to his older brother, the police officer, about the woman he just brutally murdered and set on fire. Everything he says is going to be some kind of lie.

Pretending like he is in communication with his missing girlfriend's insurance administrators and trying to reinstate his daughter's health insurance is the perfect topic of conversation. Even if he is lying through his forked tongue.

Yep, until the Father of the Year's truck was once again seen on camera traveling back in the direction from whence he came (around 4:30, I believe), obviously carrying BabyK with him since they showed up together at 5 for Thanksgiving.

Where are you getting the 6 month grace period?

The child was HIS child. PF was custodial parent and, of course, he could pay the COBRA premium if that is what he wanted to do. The law is the law. There are no grace periods and Doss was trying to be compassionate toward the child and the situation.

Medical Benefits
The Consolidated Omnibus Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA) allows employees and their covered dependents to continue group health coverage under certain circumstances. The State uses a COBRA third-party administrator (TPA). The TPA is responsible for sending COBRA notices and for managing COBRA enrollment, billing, payment, and cancellation. Your COBRA coverage will become effective once your first premium is received by the COBRA TPA. Coverage is retroactive once payment is received.

I asked about details of the $70,000 loan to PF. He hasn't been convicted of murder.

JMO

And he’s not on trial for getting a $70,000 loan.

Oh for Cripes sake, if it wasn't Kelsey's blood all over the place, then who's blood was it?

Do we have a second murder on our hands now?

There's blood. You know it, I know it. I don't think Patrick would be up for someone else's murder that just coincidentally occurred in Kelsey's condo while Kelsey took off on Thanksgiving for dinner elsewhere and hasn't returned yet.

Yeesh...

Maybe the dog's blood.

The dog she loved so much.

It apparently went missing too.

I'm sorry to even type this but this is the time period we suspect PF was beating KB to death. According to KK, she alleges that baby K was in her playpen inside KB's home office when this occurred.

Ha! “Kelsey loves her dog.”

What a nightmare that was.
