Daytime soaps are based on real life.

IDK -- the ones we used to watch at Uni seemed like they were based mostly on other daytime soaps...

This is an expertly-prosecuted trial so far, IMO. Clear thread of evidence both direct and indirect, that goes to method and motive, and a PF sitting there like a pinned insect (though without said insect's finer features) barely watching as they work. He and Chris Watts might have signed up for the How to Kill and Get Caught correspondence course. Poor KB.

Oh, I guess it was the year before that KK was pregnant so it could not have been the same time. Imo

CB said in testimony that KB had been pregnant with a first child earlier but miscarried.

This actually happened on Tuesday, and the Judge explained it today. Recall court ended early on Tuesday so Judge heard motions and conducted other business outside of the jury present. There was no witness testimony, and Judge indicated he plans to do the same during the course of the trial.

11/6/19

As the court headed into morning recess, Judge Sells said he is expecting up to 80 other witnesses to testify. He also tells the court that he closed the courtroom Tuesday afternoon for motions, legal arguments and discussion of upcoming witnesses. He said investigators and the Berreth family were allowed to stay and the court did not hear any testimony.

Sells said that he plans to do so with future motions because of privacy concerns and the publicity the case has received in order to protect the integrity of the jury.

thank you - i must have missed this

Why does this sound just like a daytime soap opera to me? JMO
Probably because the two people involved are just like some of the characters portrayed in Soaps.

Is General Hospital still around?

i would have thought this kk testimony was the crown jewel of the prosecution but with the news that they have ~80 more witnesses to bring forward i'm beginning to wonder what is ahead. after the fireworks of the "star" [gag] witness i hope the prosecution doesn't create a presentation drifting into boredom.

I want to know more about this from the article

"The last time she came to visit was August 2007.

That month, he asked her to go pick up some “things" for him on his property and while she did so, she said it was “not pleasant.” This was not expanded upon.

Between that day and a few months later, Frazee would call her and she wouldn’t answer, she said. At one point, she caved and talked with him, and while they remained friends, they didn’t talk often."

Never gonna happen....

I expect KK to be on the stand for the rest of the day, and likely all day tomorrow as well. The defense has to spend considerable time attacking her account.

The prosecution has continued to follow the outline provided by the affidavit, and pretty much gone in order.

That means that if we’re going to hear from SF, it should be on Friday. I can’t imagine the prosecution wouldn’t want her to testify about the fire, and the days surrounding Kelsey’s disappearance.

Whether she actually answers, is another matter.

OMG, that's right! Maybe they were pregnant at the same time, after all.

Wonder if we'll hear about these teeth.
Glad to see you posting, and hope things are gradually improving.:):):)

RSABBM:

And that's the nicest thing that can be said for him.

Once you've said that, the descriptors become much less flattering.

He's a walking TOS violation.

Truth. I think the majority of us would get a nice few days vacation off of here (or possibly permanent), if we shared our most endearing and heartfelt adjectives that we had for this disgusting varmint. I can't even call him a M-A-N. That's insulting to the great men in this world.

Some of their witnesses have been called for very brief periods of time. Sam said during his Facebook Live, that one of them testified for two minutes.

So there’s not going to be 80 witnesses giving drawn out testimony.

The judge even said that everything was on track, despite court adjourning early yesterday.

I’m not worried about the jury tiring of testimony, as this trial is moving briskly. Three weeks is nothing compared to many murder trials.

Wow! So. Many. Bombshells.

Giddyup, y’all! (Pun intended!) The various trial tweets, news reports, and the two FB lives by Sam and Ashley are confirming some of the wilder rumors and then some.... o_O

The past few hours have really painted an even stronger picture of a paperback Harlequin Romance Novel, Colorado Cowboy Edition. ;)

The beginning part could also be a Lifetime Stories for Women movie, but it’s fixin’ to get much too graphic for TV. This afternoon is going to be a very graphic, horror story. :(

Anyone else wonder if the first witness of the day was just filler to allow time for KK (and her security team!) to travel to Cripple Creek from another town with more hotels, like the Springs? Or maybe she even flew into the Springs from ID this morning and would not be buttoned up and ready to go by the 8:30am start time?

jmo

#JusticeForKelsey!

The testimony this morning establishes that PF lied about the events of T'giving day and afterward, so no, not filler IMO.

Oh, I think I felt lightening bolts shoot out of my eyes when I read your post talking about her working up an appetite after cleaning up that bloody mess. But for the compliance of this woman Kelsey would still be here to watch her daughter grow. I know I'm going to be sick when I hear the details of KK's plea deal. Add in the fact that we are only getting KK's version of the whole thing. The version that makes her look like a victim and not the evil accomplice she actually is.
Right. As if she didn't have a choice to not get the abortion,or help kill Kelsey.
MOO.

i remember when this case started there were reports of PF saying something to the effect that LE was "piling on" , or something like that, if i've kept my cases straight. wonder how Pf is feeling now? ha ha

Railroaded. I recall PF saying he felt railroaded. Right about now he should be feeling that train just drove straight over his body.

I think the majority of the remaining "80 witnesses" will primarily be corroborating details that help tie the prosecution's story together, IMO. And limiting the number of paths the PF lawyers can go down with his defense story.

And I can't wait to hear the story.

Can you imagine how angry and hurt KK was to find out about Kaylee? PF made her get rid of her baby with him. I want to know how that first conversation with KK and PF went after she found out.
She didn't have to do it. She had a choice.
