We’re having the same thought right now, except in place of the “take deep breaths”, my solution is “drink glass of wine”

Tonight I might have a couple glasses. This is just so unimaginable to hear. Soul deadening.
I'll join you, not much chance of sleeping tonight. I'm probably going to have nightmares for a long time. :(

Emotional abuse is a form of domestic violence and why judges issue protection orders, especially so if small children are involved. I know because my DD obtained one.

There is no evidence so far that PF was abusive to KB or to their child. Domestic violence usually doesn't start with murder, it escalates TO murder.

JMO
I work with abuse situations everyday. Murder is abuse. Killing a child's mother is abuse. Threatening to kill someone's dog or child is abuse. Threatening that children go missing is abuse. If you do not see a very strong pattern of abuse here, you are missing the strong reality.

I typically do not reply to comments that do not require comment but I see trauma and abuse every single day and this is it.

So, he offered her a dog and then wanted her to pay for it...? And never told her how he felt... KK, that should have been a clue, dear! MOO

Frazee trial: Kenney testifies, details their relationship
[...]

In December of 2008, Frazee said he wanted to buy her a border collie. He said he had bought a dog in Texas that came with a puppy that he didn’t want, so he offered it to Kenney, she said. Kenney said she knew he raised them, along with other ranch animals. When she went to Colorado to pick up the dog, Frazee told her she had to make a choice between him and her Lee. At the time, Kenney said she knew he was dating another woman.

She said he told her, “You can’t ride two horses at the same time, so you need to make a choice.” When Viehman asked why Frazee would believe he was one of those “horses,” Kenney said he could probably tell that she still had feelings for him. She said, through tears on the witness stand, that she’d never felt that kind of chemistry before. He never talked about his feelings for her, she said.

[...]
Wow. She wanted what she wanted. SMH.

Besides, Kelsey had a sweater wrapped around her head which would soften the blow.
I’m not sure of the science there, but perhaps the sweater would have softened the blow. If not, there are several other variables:

Did he choke up?

How hard did he swing?

How clean was the contact?

Where did he hit her?

No matter what, nothing excludes the possibility that this went down as PF allegedly reported to KK.

BBM. Candles upstairs? Didn't LE testify there was a candle warmer still on the stove when they entered? Why would candles be upstairs and how did blood get on the bottom of PF's shoes? And why did KK leave a broom on the bed? I look forward to the evidence about blood and whether the chemicals picked it up outside of the bathroom.

JMO
Not to worry. Coming right up!! Stay tuned :)

Wow. Awful.

"Her mom and that little girl never needed to see what Patrick did to her," Lee said. "And I didnt know he was capable of that. I didn't think he was capable of what happened."

BBM:

No, they didn't.

Truer words were never spoken.

Paradoxically, however, KK suggesting this is why she cleaned that townhome is a lie.

To be clear: That ain't why KK cleaned that townhome.

Contrary to what she would have us believe, she ain't no Mother Theresa in a Hazmat suit.

JMO.

I don't disagree, but I'm curious what the question she was responding to was. I've just seen this quoted as an answer without context. The context may change how I feel about this answer. But, probably not.

Please stop.

KK says KB's final words to PF.

:(

I have just read this.:eek::eek::eek:
Unbelievable.
So KB didn't die with one blow, and knew what was happening to her.
However, this is what KK says, and would idiot PF state KB really said this.o_O

Surely the Defence will pounce on those two words, as being made up by KK, in order to annihilate PF completely.
Surely, the jurors then, would want her testimony to stop, so they can recover.

Can this get any more horrid.

not necessarily.
imo, a blow to the head strong enough to dislodge a tooth is going to result in unconsciousness rather than conversation.

@GoJacks was in the courtroom today, and will have a recap for us later on.

The first blow to the head with a ball bat would have knocked KB unconscious and there was no way she'd say anything.

JMO
Being an RN for almost 30 years and having worked in ER, I strongly disagree with this statement. I have seen (as I'm sure others here have too) very traumatic head injuries from numerous types of trauma and seen patients that have survived and went on to live normal lives. (And also, of course, on the other end of the spectrum is those who haven't lived through it, or have lived through it but had serious, long-standing deficits for the rest of their lives).

JMO from my experiences in medical field.

Great post and I totally agree. He didn't think past that day and he cares for no one but himself. Not even his poor little baby girl, who no longer has a mother and will never know her or what a wonderful lady she was.
At least she will grow up knowing what a wonderful mother she had because she now has a loving family who won't let her forget.

She will never experience or remember the nightmare of the Frazees.

Imo

I was hit square in the side of the head with an aluminum bat, while catching for my work softball team. I wasn’t wearing any headgear.

A lot of blood, staples, and a CT scan. I was left with a concussion, but never lost consciousness.

I say this from experience, that’s false.

Jesus, do we know each other? I was just going to say I hit someone with an aluminum bat while they were catching for a ball game.

Wasn't pretty, but they weren't knocked unconscious. Just concussed and a bloody mess.

Also I believe PF used a wood bad. As they insinuate he burned it.

Nobody said it was the first blow that dislodged a tooth.

And I wouldn't exactly characterize, "Please stop" as making conversation.

She was begging for her life.
