What did PF do that actually caused KK, or her dog or her children, physical harm? PF is on trial for murder, not for psychological torture.

KK claims PF made her have an abortion yet he didn't demand KB have an abortion. PF seems have to have been a hands-on co-parent who willingly paid child support even though not under a court order to do so.

JMO
Respectfully, if you don’t think that psychological torture is an actual “thing” or that people can get other people to do things via the threat of a deed, rather than the actual deed, that’s a perfectly fine opinion to have. I just disagree. And I don’t need for it to be something PF is formally charged with in order for me to discuss it. Nor am I saying KK should get a total pass for it. It can be a factor, though. And if it wasn’t at all a factor, she probably would not be getting her sweetheart deal, IMHO.

For those wondering why in the world KK kept going back to him. I would point out that KB probably experienced a lot of the same coldness from him that KK did. Yet she stayed. And despite no commitment from him, she got pregnant not just once but twice. And when he stopped paying support for months, she still wanted it to work and was excited about spending the holidays with him.

Not trying to lift up KK or bring down KB. I’m just saying that a psychological torturer like PF finds ways to keep you in his web even while actively doing things to cause you harm. He probably makes a sport of it, seeing just how far he can go and still keep you wanting him.
I don’t disagree. Countless good women have found themselves wrapped up with an utter jerk and stayed way too long. However, for the sake of KB and all those other women, I feel compelled to point out almost NONE of them entertained murder and cleaned up a bloody crime scene for said jerk. PF’s treatment of KK and/or her adoration for him does not even begin to excuse or explain her actions. She’s a special kind of wicked and must have had several screws loose long before meeting PF. MOO of course. But I’m certain nothing’s going to change my mind.

That's what people like PF do.

They want you to always be in a position where you "owe" them something.

It's just another way to control.

Imo

Agreed. And they'll dismiss or downplay all the good things you've done for them, but will always hold over your head anything they did for you, no matter how minute.

"Remember that time I got that puppy ALL the way from Texas?"
"Don't say I never did anything nice for you."
"I did (this) for you, so you need to do (this)."
Trying to think of more examples but thankfully I don't think like a selfish jerk.

Did she have a hotel for a night or two?
She was napping in the truck before her long drive back home so my guess is no.

Agree, it's definitely in contention for Golden Post of the Day!

So much to catch up on here, though, I have a feeling there are quite a few other worthy nominees.

JMO.

There are so many on here who make me laugh every day, which is much needed most days. And I have the sticky keyboard to prove it. Where’s a good cleaning lady when you need one...busy testifying I guess :-/

Didn’t she come with cleaning supplies?
Yes, and the white cover-up, too!
At one point I think it was referred to as the hazmat suit.

I'm behind for life.
You're going to have to repost the contenders, GK.

No. According to the phone records she left ID on the 23rd, arrived on the 24th, and left to go back on the 24th.
She took a nap in her car. Apparently she wasn't welcome in MaF's house for a nap.

I think it's to show how abusive and intimidating he was.
Apparently the other ex-girlfriend feared him too. (the one who said he told her he knew the perfect place to hide a body)

Imo

The ex-girlfriend can take care of herself quite well. I can't buy that idea. Sorry. JMO

Snipped for Focus:

On what planet does PF seem to have been willing to pay child support, when he was in arrears on said payments, and in fact murdered the mother of his child to avoid further payments?

Have we been teleported into an episode of "Stranger Things?"
I feel like we're in the Upside Down here.

I gotta agree with the bit about PF being a "hands-on co-parent," though:

PF sure went "hands-on" with KB in that townhome on November 22nd, 2018, didn't he?

"Willingly paid child support," my EYE.

Speaking of which, I now have a tic in my left eye.

‘He wanted her to not be a problem anymore’: Krystal Lee testifies about Kelsey Berreth murder

11/6/19

CRIPPLE CREEK, Colo. — About two months before Kelsey Berreth disappeared, Krystal Lee said she went to the Woodland Park mom’s condo at 9 p.m. with a Starbucks coffee in her hand and knocked on the door.

“She was standoffish and guarded,” Lee said. “It was dark.”

Lee, who had never met Berreth, said she thanked her for putting her dog back in her yard, and offered her the coffee. She said Berreth told her she didn’t know what she was talking about, but took Lee’s phone number and closed the door.

ETA: I recall that KK tried to make a play date with baby K and KK's own daughter and gave KB her phone number.
Ok This is where I do not believe everything she is saying now. She is trying to paint too good an innocent picture of herself.

So here she is trying to say that out of the blue she gets that call and has no idea what actually happened and yet she borrows someone else's car and begins the long drive almost immediately after that phone call.

Nope Sorry. I dont believe her. She knew exactly what he had done before she headed the long drive to Colorado.

And for that other earlier statement she made in court about she "was hoping it would just go away."

Dont quite believe her on that either. I think it was more like she hoped HE would make her go away instead of her having to do it.

All JMO of course

I like what you're saying. She's definitely not an innocent bystander.

There has been no evidence yet introduced, that PF has ever even been in the state of Idaho. JMO

The state of Idaho is deeply grateful for that.

Right. Hmmpppfff, if mama thought classy Kelsey was a “hooker”, I can’t even imagine how she would view KK.

I hope SF will be on the stand Friday, so maybe GoJacks can give us an interesting report?!!

Shows character? Just guessing.
Shows thought process too. Have a problem? Kill it. His mind has gone this direction for a long time. jmo

"in case Frazee was watching her"! Yikes!

I'd love to read a psychiatrist's analysis of KK.

I'm not a psych professional, but I'll give it a whirl: Cranius Anusii (otherwise abbreviated commonly as H.U.A. and known as Head Up @$$).

That whole deal of hers of ignoring whatever is going on and hoping it goes away reminds me of ostriches sticking their heads in the ground in response to a stressor. I hope she didn't behave like that while she was working as a nurse: "Oh, Mr. Smith, I know you said you were having chest pain, but if we wait a little while I'm sure it'll go away on it's own. No, don't be silly, chest pain doesn't indicate a possible heart attack."

Weird. One person’s fear is another person’s hope I guess. I am hoping the jurors are feeling like the majority of us here do. Then it’s bye bye d*ckh**d
I want to see justice served for Kelsey and the Berreths. KK isn't likeable, lied to LE and is an outsider to that community.
