Candles upstairs that needed to be wiped up/off??

Learned about an electric candle warmer/burner plate found inside the condo during Tuesday's testimony. Suggesting scented candles burned to mask the smell of clean up.

Are you thinking of when PF told KK that he cared more than she did about baby KB2? If KK wouldn't cooperate and kill KB?
-or-
Little girls go missing from the playground (or something to that effect). Though I think if he said that it meant KK's kids. Or so she thought.

That's all I can think of...guess we will hear more after KK's done and court ends for day. Staying tuned!

I certainly hope KK works that into the conversation. Hopefully May and asst pros are all over that veiled threat. Let's see, PF threatens to murder a dog. PF threatens that little girls so missing. PF wants KK to kill his baby's mother. The defense is going to have a big challenge cleaning up PF's act.

If someone threatened to kill my dog, or harm my child, even if they never carried out that threat, that would pretty much be the last time I ever spoke to that man again, let alone stayed so in love with him that I would kill the mother of his child on his behalf, but I can only speak for myself.

That's exactly my opinion.
I really do not understand that a grown-up woman, married with two 2 kids, can fall so madly in love with a guy who treats her like 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and she is even willing to clean up the crime scene. It’s just beyond my imagination.

Right, but those were downstairs. This is the first mention of candles upstairs. And wondering why they needed to be cleaned off/up??

I mean, if you wanna hang your cowboy hat on what CC has to say, I guess that’s your perogative. But I think the bottom line is, PF is not a parent, not even a co-parent. He’s a sperm donor. At least in my books. A real parent is defined by looking after the best interest of their child. Killing the child’s mother negates anything else Father of the Year may have done.....even putting extra socks on the baby, dontchathink?
BBM:

Yeah, and somebody needs to remind CC that those "extra socks" that were so lovingly, and by lovingly, I mean perfunctorily, shoved on Baby K's little feet by Daddy Dearest probably ended up being tossed in the trash by KK.

Along with Baby K's toys.

On account of Daddy Dearest got her mommy's blood all over her socks and toys.

Probably not a great idea to bring up those socks, come to think of it.

Go back to tending your jackasses, CC.
At least you're amongst like-minded creatures, there.

JMO.

See, I totally believe this. If she didn't have her own RX for the drugs, then she would've had to steal them from work. She probably bragged to PF that she could do that. However, it's not that easy to do and she would lose her job. Again, I really feel like this was a game to her until PF actually killed KB. So, the consequence of stealing the meds was higher than what the outcome of playing along would be.

Me too. Also, to a numpty like PF, it might have been easier to explain the non-fatal coffee poisoning -- lack of precision with dosing, not everyone responds the same to meds, a front stoop isn't a hospital room, so I couldn't really stand there and watch to make sure she drank it all, etc -- than somehow failing to kill KB with a metal tube or bat.

I'm not even sure that KK's goal in this was to eliminate, through murder, a rival. She'd already had years of practice with PF's bizarre "loyalty tests" -- paying for the gifted dog, having a termination, trucking out to CO for a shag, so maybe she thought she could defeat KB in that way. Prove that she was his best girl, blah blah blah.

Can't pretend to make sense of her actions and feel she is likely to be one of those people that can justify nearly anything. It's the driving out one last time to clean up a murder scene -- another and particularly vicious test of loyalty -- that is truly baffling. And yet over and over we see friends and families help out with a "disposal" at enormous cost and risk to themselves. Why does anyone do it? Why did she?

My guess is that we’re going to learn that the jury asked KK a lot of questions. They apparently asked quite a few yesterday, but that testimony was nothing like hers.

What they ask, and how they ask it, could be quite telling.

ETA: So people don’t think I’ve lost my mind, Colorado allows jurors to question witnesses.

If I recall correctly, he had blindfolded her and asked her to smell scented candles before he hit her. So his prints were on those candles. Or were those different candles?

Some sort of question as to whether PF was ever in Idaho. Didn't he go to Washington to help Kelsey move to Colorado? He would have had to go thru Idaho. Also, wasn't there something about KK and PF spending time in college. That was probably in Colorado, but might have been in Idaho?

What difference would it make if she were likable? It's what she DID.
I think "likeability" is a huge factor with any jury.

I do believe CC will realize he has been duped and he will come around. Sometimes it’s hard when you know a person one way and you believe their lies. I’m sure he is feeling really raw right now. JMO

If I'm not mistaken, CC claimed that KB had run off before, according to what PF told him. That was a lie.

CC claimed that KB abandoned Baby K after birth and PF has always had custody of her. That was a lie.

CC claimed that KB sought treatment for alcohol/drugs, according to what PF told him. That was a lie.

CC was duped and it's absurd to attribute any truth to anything the man says! MOO
Excellent comment

That's not love, that's obsession, to borrow a line from Romeo Santos.

I dunno. He seems like one of these types who will forever proclaim that PF “was railroaded by the government.”

I do hope you’re right though.

Are the reporters present for this questioning ??

I hope you’re right on that as well. Cuz it’s PF on trial, not KK. And although I’m not in the courtroom, I’m pretty sure PF isn’t coming off as “likeable”. Though that being said, I want him to be found guilty based on his actions, not his personality, or lack thereof.

Yes. It’s done in open court, as the witness is testifying. Atleast that was my understanding from Sam’s Facebook Live yesterday.
