My God. She knew what was happening to her.

I always hoped she was knocked out immediately, and never had a clue.

This is beyond horrific.

OMG. I feared this. Her final thoughts.
She died not knowing if baby KB would be next.

Lee said it took her about four hours to clean #KelseyBerreth's condo. She took from there six garbage bags of curtains, washclothes, child's toys and other items stained with blood that she couldn't clean.

"Her mom and that little girl never needed to see what Patrick did to her," Lee said. "And I didnt know he was capable of that. I didn't think he was capable of what happened."

But then she continued to see him and continued helping him with the cover up? The jury is going to question WHY.

Just a few minutes before the day wrapped, Krystal Kenney was asked if Patrick Frazee told her Kelsey Berreth’s last words. “Please stop,” is what he told Kenney. Today was a powerful day. That’s probably putting it lightly.

Please tell me KK is not trying to justify why she cleaned up the crime scene for PF (i.e., so there'd be no evidence for CB or baby K to see what happened to KB)??

Emotional abuse is a form of domestic violence and why judges issue protection orders, especially so if small children are involved. I know because my DD obtained one.

There is no evidence so far that PF was abusive to KB or to their child. Domestic violence usually doesn't start with murder, it escalates TO murder.

JMO

Of course it doesn’t start with murder. After murder, nothing more happens. You are then dead.

This is beyond horrific. There aren’t words to describe it.

I hope those words are seared into the minds of those jurors, and they remember them when they nail the 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.

"Please stop"

That sent a lightning bolt down my spine.

Imagine hearing it from the jury box.

No chance of that, IMO. Even to that frontier wildcard, open-minded, independent-streaky, cowboy-favouring, Western courteous, underdog-loving juror with the artisanal baby sock business on Etsy.
Priceless post!

I think "likeability" is a huge factor with any jury.

That's awesome! Because they're gonna hate PF by the time this is done! JMHO :)

I wonder if PF is really taking notes or drawing pics of horsies for his book?

Are Kelsey's parents in court today hearing this?

Particularly if you haven't been following the case as we all have. And I'm horrified beyond words.

Me too. Also, to a numpty like PF, it might have been easier to explain the non-fatal coffee poisoning -- lack of precision with dosing, not everyone responds the same to meds, a front stoop isn't a hospital room, so I couldn't really stand there and watch to make sure she drank it all, etc -- than somehow failing to kill KB with a metal tube or bat.

I'm not even sure that KK's goal in this was to eliminate, through murder, a rival. She'd already had years of practice with PF's bizarre "loyalty tests" -- paying for the gifted dog, having a termination, trucking out to CO for a shag, so maybe she thought she could defeat KB in that way. Prove that she was his best girl, blah blah blah.

Can't pretend to make sense of her actions and feel she is likely to be one of those people that can justify nearly anything. It's the driving out one last time to clean up a murder scene -- another and particularly vicious test of loyalty -- that is truly baffling. And yet over and over we see friends and families help out with a "disposal" at enormous cost and risk to themselves. Why does anyone do it? Why did she?
New word for me - numpty!
"trucking out to Colorado for a shag" - perfect (though gross)!
