That tweet said no more questions 'today'. She may get called back...don't think she was released yet until I hear otherwise.

Yes. I misunderstood!!

No. I confused you. I added “that’s it,” in reference to today’s testimony.

I removed it to prevent further confusion.

As we all know...trial by tweet can be confusing. Especially in this circumstance...delayed tweeting!

I’m waiting for more details, as Tweets don’t tell the whole story. If this reporter hit all the key points, than the defense’s cross seems astoundingly weak.

None of that appeared to hit anything that mattered, atleast effectively.

I think this was an odd day for the Court after 2 hour delay.
I wouldn't be surprised if Defense didn't intentionally want to break at this time, and have the full morning and fresh attention of the jurors Friday to continue crossing KK. KK was not released.

Steigerwald also sought to poke holes in Lee's testimony that she left clues at #KelseyBerreth's house and on way back to Idaho. If she wanted to be discovered, he asked, why not contact police before the killing about #PatrickFrazee's previous murder requests?

^^^THIS is what I've been waiting for. Frazee is going away for life, that's a given, but I want to see this 🤬🤬🤬 DESTROYED, too.

Yup. We’ve all been going after that story since we first heard it.

No one buys it.

Just so everyone knows, KK has not been released. Her cross examination is merely over for today.

My apologies for single handedly causing mass confusion.

ETA: Somehow, this is all @PommyMommy ’s fault. She’s probably busy doing something frivolous, like “feeding her family.”

Priorities.

That wasn’t him though, KK did the cleaning. PF created that bloody mess, and left that bloody mess.

He literally picked the worst way to murder someone, and came up with the worst way to cover it up.

By carrying out a deception that tracked his movements, and proved that only he could be the killer.
Yes, but somehow in his slowness he seemed to know who to call...and it wasn't Ghost Busters.
Supposed to be a joke...

...and have the evening to get their thoughts together

So do they have other witness for today? This is strange.

Apparently there is more testimony. It’ll be interesting to see where they go from here.

Yeah I mean she had soooo many opportunities to save Kelsey.

But I hope the jurors can separate her factual statements from her fictional ones and not let hatred toward her render all of what she said to be in question.

Her statements are supported by the evidence but we’ve seen how emotion can erase logic. And if the jurors feel they can’t rely on what she said (are incapable of seeing what’s credible and what’s not) it is possible the jury could hang. Or even worse although I doubt the last option.

I'm not so sure that I agree.

She does deserve to serve time. She knew about this murder coming, she was a part of it all- the attempts, the clean up. Kelsey's family suffered through hell this past 11 and plus months.

Her sobbing just doesn't touch my soul, sorry. Her only regret in all of this is that they were both caught. In order for her to continue to remain a free woman, she has no choice now but to testify. So any little time that she may have to serve, I want that for her. Kelsey didn't get a second chance at life, she's gone forever- no more memories with Baby K, her parents, her brother. Meanwhile, Krystal went off and had a hell of a good time partying after she clean up Kelsey's blood in the condo and helped PF burn what the heck was in that tote.

Someone said awhile back, that ranchers burn farm animals when they die- is this correct? Could that be the reason why there was no unusual odor- to them, it wouldn't be any different, smell wise, if they've burned animals before in this manner.
What is all this with the partying after a killing. Also CAnthony!
But the tears in court. Smh

This Colorado livestock disposal plan https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/sites/default/files/OEPR_Emergency-Livestock-Disposal.pdf is from 2013, just to give you some idea of some of the disposal options. I don't know if it's still current. I don't know if PF would abide by it (I sort of doubt that he would, unless it went along with whatever he wanted to do). It doesn't address burning of a carcass.

PF and KB didn’t live together, and Kelsey wasn’t a true threat to her.

Saying that she was jealous and vindictive, isn’t actually supported by anything.

What is supported, is that she told multiple people about the solicitation attempts, and about the alleged abuse.

If she wanted Kelsey out of the way so badly, those three murder attempts wouldn’t have been “attempts.”

She also wouldn’t have opened her mouth about the things she did.

That’s why I have a major problem with this narrative that she wanted Kelsey murdered as bad as he did. There’s no evidence that she put the idea in his head, and tons of evidence that it occurred the other way.

I’m just looking at this logically.
I don't think she put the idea in his head but I'd say there's plenty of cause for jealousy. She had to abort their baby but Kelsey didn't. Kelsey and him were engaged, etc.

Oic, thanks. Do we know why he moved the body? Seems like it would’ve been easier to do the burning at the same place where the body was stored, and not have to move it. And not create an extra witness, as he did with his mother
I’m almost glad that I can’t think like this guy.

I think he decided to burn the body at home, because he was comfortable there. He also had everything he needed, and probably felt like there was little chance of being spotted.

As for Ma, I think he either wasn’t concerned that she would see anything, or wasn’t worried if she did.

"You drove 750 miles with a baseball bat; the purpose of that baseball bat was to to kill #KelseyBerreth?" Steigerwald asked.
"It was at Patrick's request," Lee said.
"No baseball bats in Teller County?" Steigerwald shot back.

Steigerwald reviewed Lee's testimony from Wednesday and earlier today.
"That's the story that you had to tell those agents to get your plea deal, is that right?" "I had to tell them the truth," Lee responded.

Steigerwald also focused on the three times that #PatrickFrazee asked her to kill #KelseyBerreth, which Lee backed out of each time. One of those times, Lee drove from Idaho with a baseball bat in her car, which Frazee asked her to use to kill Berreth. @csgazette
