I’m off To bed folks. This is making me beyond sick. Prayers to the Berreths and baby K. Just when you think you’ve heard it all, something worse comes along.

PF is way, way, way too stupid, not to mention lazy, to have done all of his dirty work himself.

he is really a twisted person. he helped KB move out to CO. he told KK to kill KB three times, then he killed KB. he wanted to keep baby K (why?). he told KK to abort their baby, but he had also told her not to marry her ex. he threatened KK's daughter. he is totally irrational. maybe the defense should have checked for organic brain disease, if they did not, IMHO (not a dr or a psych professional).

I can imagine. This is the same guy that killed his girlfriend while their daughter was up and in a walker in another room. The same guy that burned the girlfriend's body in a fire in his mother's front yard.

Cold, heartless, cruel jerk. He didn't care about who helped him, so long as they did. Even his sidekick, he didn't care about ruining her life to help his. He probably was banking on the saying "blood is thicker than water" and expected his brother to lie for him on the stand and defend him- I bet that was a punch in the gut when his own brother walked away disgusted.

Is sister going to testify, I wonder? I am hoping his mother has to testify, too.
I doubt we're going to see PF's sister on the stand since she's been allowed in the courtroom to hear testimony. SF is definitely going to be called. That'll probably be another whopper of a day even if she repeatedly says "I can't recall" and/or "I plead the fifth." MOO

KK reported that she went to her car and tried to sleep during the burning. Could she have avoided the smell of human flesh burning from inside her car?

We suggested early on that they check that glue.

She had been awake for the better part of 24 hours (maybe more) so I doubt she was perfectly clear-headed.

Frazee Trial: Krystal Lee Kenney returns to the stand on day 5
The beginning of the fifth day of testimony in the trial against Patrick Frazee was delayed Thursday morning, due to Frazee and Krystal Lee Kenney feeling sick.

[...]

Back on the stand Thursday, Kenney said she traveled to Colorado on December 20, 2018 to be interviewed by investigators and to provide a full statement to the District Attorney’s Office.

She said it wasn’t easy to tell the truth.

[...]

On Thursday, Kenney added Frazee had also told her his young daughter was nearby, in a baby walker, when it happened.

Prosecutors showed jurors pictures of the interior of Berreth’s home and asked Kenny to point out where she had seen blood. Kenney also pointed out where she found some cleaning supplies.

Kenney told the court she saw bloody footprints leading up to the bathroom and the back room. As prosecutors went through pictures of evidence from Berreth’s home, she answered whether she wiped down items and with what specific cleaning product.

[...]

Kenney began to cry when prosecutors showed a picture of Berreth’s daughter, standing in front of items that Kenney said she found at the house, covered in blood, and had to throw away.

At this, Berreth’s father began to sob.

Frazee didn’t show any visible sign of emotion as the pictures were shown.

[...]

Jurors also watched a video showing Kenney talking to law enforcement at Frazee’s property on December 21, 2018, the day he was arrested.

[...]

In the video, Kenney showed investigators where she and Frazee had parked their vehicles and where she said Berreth’s body was burned.

As the video played out, Kenney looked away.

Frazee paid close attention to the screen.

[...]

A second video showed to jurors Thursday showed Kenney explaining to officers the contents of a garbage bag that was also burned on Frazee’s property in Florissant. Kenney added she’d thrown Berreth’s bible in the bag as well.

(BREAK)

Kenney also claimed Shelia Frazee, Patrick’s mother, saw her and saw the fire burning. Shelia is expected to testify.

Kenney said there were also teenagers working around the property at the time of the fire.

Prosecutors asked if she’s looked at the tote when it was burning. Kenney said, “it was a burning heap and it started to melt.” She said she left while the fire was still burning.

[...]

Kenney said Frazee told her the fire burned well into the morning, but that it left remnant that needed to be taken to the dump. She testified that Frazee told her he was getting help from two boys. She said the boys didn’t know what they were helping with.

[...]

When the prosecutor asked why she didn’t tell anyone about what happened the weekend of Thanksgiving 2018 Kenney replied, “I didn’t want anyone else involved. I knew that I was in a lot of trouble and I didn’t want anyone else in trouble.”

The prosecutor also asked if she wanted Frazee to get caught.

She responded, “yes”.

After answering a list of questions from the jury, Kenney was excused for the day.

PF told KK it left remnant that needed to be taken to the dump.

I would think the same thing. But recently, a young lady was burned in Salt Lake right behind a house in a residential area (MacKenzie Lueck). I don’t believe anyone reported smelling the type of odor you would expect.

MOO
I don't know about the smell you'd expect but a neighbor did report a burning fire smell to the police and they did come out to inspect. [mackenzie's death]

I agree. I struggle to understand why anyone on the defense side, PF and his attorneys specifically, would think there’s any possible way to overcome this damning evidence put forth by the prosecution. They don’t stand a chance.
I am wondering if PF’s plan is to have KL testify and implicate herself with what she did. His one last chance to have power over her, (if you chose to see her participation that way) and then plead guilty before a jury finds him guilty. I do not think he will tell where KB’s remains are. That may be why his attorney has no fight

Just think if ol Patrick could have done his own dirty work it would be much more likely he could have gotten away with it.

His laziness in general, having everyone do his work (for most of his life), was his downfall. He tried to have someone else even do the murder, but that didn't work for him.

I imagine he'll be given plenty of tasks in jail, and he will have to do them himself.

Why Krystal Lee didn’t call law enforcement, waited to tell the truth about Kelsey Berreth
[...]

Those two ranch hands testified after Lee. One of them, KR, said he helped Frazee move on a rusted-out horse trough on his property the weekend of Thanksgiving, clean up ashes, and then cover a burned area with dirt.

Prosecutors showed a photo that depicted a part of the ground at the Frazee ranch that appeared to have burn marks.

During cross-examination, KR conceded that Frazee burned trash on the property all the time, and he didn’t find anything odd about this particular instance.

Lee testified that Sheila Frazee — Patrick Frazee’s mother — had been on the property’s patio during the fire. The two ranch hands said the patio was visible from where they had moved the trough.

Why does the media keep reminding us KK is now using the last name Lee? Isn’t she divorced? Perhaps she never returned to her maiden name, so was media calling her Kenney incorrectly prior to the trial?

  • #975
Or those final words from yesterday. “Please stop.”

yes- KB says "please," because even when she is being savagely attacked, she is still polite. sad.

With Court being closed on Monday, NOV 11th, I wonder if they are going to try to wrap up KK testimony by EOD tomorrow ???
I would imagine that want to give the jury a good visual to think about all weekend long...like a tooth maybe with a DNA report?
"and then he swung the bat..."
Any ideas on that?

Name calling, name derivations, etc of any kind (yes, even of the accused) are a violation of TOS. Posts have been removed, so please remember that if you quote a post that contains any of these in your reply, your post will most likely be removed too. It simply takes too much time to dissect and edit each individual response when there are so many cases being discussed on the forum. Any questions may be directed to any staff member via PM. Thank you.

Yes, but ML was not inside a hard plastic tote. If you've never smelled plastic burning, it's pretty whiffy. MOO
