HA!

That would be like a 3 day old body at that point. Likely it would stink.

And an out of state license plate in CO - in which she was crossing state boarders. With expired tags.

You know how much MORE likely that is to get searched?

We have this thing called recreational marijuana, that those states don't have.

Thank you. I wanted to take this quiet time to thank you for your updates from court. I am in the Springs & I aspired (my intentions) to attend the court proceedings after all these months were so strong but my husband of 25 years passed away suddenly in May and with this I have no transportation since I do not care to drive and haven't for some years. I appreciate you and wanted you to know and thank you for your updates daily when you are able to be there.
The drive to Cripple Creek is always intimidating to me.

Agreed, not too bright, this PF.
Apparently his ma thinks the world of him, so there's that.

I wonder if she’s actually been emotionally and physically abusive to him. Not excusing him, no way, no how. But it could follow that certain behaviour on his part is learned.
MOO

We really don’t have a clear picture of the dynamic there, so nothing excludes that.

She apparently yelled at him about the fire, kicked Kelsey out of the house, and called her names.

Doesn’t sound like a pushover to me.

I'm going to the old song by the Cranberries "Wake up and smell the coffee"!

Chorus:
Come on now Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up Shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up It's time, smell the coffee, the coffee Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up Shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up It's time, smell the coffee, the coffee

They did another one that also might work: Ridiculous Thoughts....

Brilliant! Delores O'Riordan is always Sunday temple. :)

So very sorry, NoeticSoul, for your loss. I am inspired by the dignity with which you carry your pain.

What, “Land of Confusion?”

Yes, what a coincidence that it also came to your mind tonight.
And others too, it seems.

Yes, poor teenager. He's lost his trust in adults by Patrick doing this to him. I wish the teen best of luck in adjusting to this betrayal and hope he finds someone to trust in the community who can give him an appropriate part-time job and rebuilding of trust.

I think KB was disposed by KK in Idaho. She claims she told PF she couldn't do it because of expired tags but even if she was stopped for expired tags, LE wouldn't search the car.

I don't believe PF would take the body home to burn in front of his mother because his brother is in LE and the risk was too great. Plus, his mother seems to get along with bro just fine.

JMO

Wow! Who do you think was burned in the fire? And what about evidence in the car of a decomposing dead body? That would be a might smelly wouldn’t it? Thinking her friend would likely notice the stench. You are entitled to your thoughts and ideas for sure ... they just don’t make any sense to me. Sorry but you need a whole lot more to convince me of anything other than what the evidence has already indicated.

The ruin caused by PF and KK just does my head in:
PF shatters and uses this teen, and KK used not only a dog but also a child in a ruse to come face to face with KB-- only months before her savage death.

(KK went to KB's door professing to thank her for locating her lost dog. When KB told her wrong door, KK tries to set up a play date with baby K and her daughter).

KK blames PF for everything which is no surprise. But why would PF request KK get a burner phone when he was contacting her via the ranch's landline? Her entire testimony seems to be total deflection and embellishment. I think the jury is going to have a very hard time trying to figure out what is true and what isn't.

I look forward to LE testimony about how much blood evidence the chemical analysis uncovered in the condo.

JMO
The KK testimony included quite a bit of illuminating information about the blood evidence.

I believe KK said that, "...blood was EVERYWHERE".

By KK's account, the PF violence went beyond ending the life of KB and resulted in blood all over the living room. KK it seems in her testimony took the jury through the KB condo and showed where all the blood was located and which areas she left for LE.

If LE had known this was a murder case and not a missing case earlier and had sprayed the condo with luminol my guess is it would have lit up like the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center. Sadly this didn't happen but its easy to create this image as being reality due to the way it was described by KK IMO.

We may still find that the condo did light up from BlueStar unless I missed something.

I'm most impressed with the caliber of personnel serving Justice in State of Colorado.

Team Dan May and their strategy handling a no body case has been nothing short of brilliant. And CBI/FBI that interviewed and polygraphed Chris Watts were also individuals to learn from. MOO

I hope so. How could it not?!

I hope they have the floorboard and the drywall with evidence.

I don't believe PF, for sure and some of what KK is stating.

KK implied she helped PF because the "system" was not protecting the baby from reported abuse. She wanted the system to work.

The system can and does work, but may not always be just a simple phone call. Many times abuse complaints are investigated and no abuse "found". Folks are good at cover up, failed workers, etc.

All mandated reporting professions are legally obligated by polices, procedures and the law of our lands to always take any unresolved complaint to the next level.

She chose to do nothing more than talk or complaint about the situation. She had a legal and moral obligation bound by the law.

She broke the law. Hope the jury finds this out.

JMHO
every burn is not an indication of abuse, imo. but i come from a different time and a different society. when i was a child in a family of 5 children all close in age, myself and my sibs all had burns. it wasn't abuse, it wasn't neglect, it wasn't parental irresponsibility. it was the result of an accident. to think that these days a school nurse, or any nurse, has a legal and moral obligation to report a simple burn is sickening to me. it's gotten to the point where every tom, amy and suzy should view themselves as legally obligated to be a burn policeman. i'm actually glad i no longer have any skin in this society. you can have it. have fun.

I’m all for looking at cases from all angles so we don’t put blinders on and turn into an echo chamber, but you also can’t just blatantly ignore every single piece of evidence because it doesn’t fit what you want to believe. That’s a little ridiculous.

I wonder if there's anyone posting here who might live near you and want to have some company going over for a day of the trial?
How far away are you, NoeticSoul?

Oh I'd take a ride in a heartbeat! I am in Old Colorado City (Westside). I Just had to take an uber to my own jury duty in September but to take one to Cripple Creek is a COMPLETELY different story! lol
Is it super expensive? Is there bus service?
