I'm still perplexed and maybe I'm just a bit slow on the uptake. It happens.

What does she need to plead the 5th TO?? She's can't incriminate HERSELF by admitting she saw the fire, found the metal pipe at the gate OR testifying when PF came home for TG dinner and when KK was there. That doesn't incriminate her. What is it that she has to hide??

If this has been answered before, forgive me, just give me a quick answer so I can understand what it is she did that is criminal. Did she KNOW KB was being burned? Did she know he was going to kill her? Did she encourage it?

I have not been following the case closely...but my first guess is she could have lied to police or CBI when first questioned about potential fires on her ranch?

I can't believe his defense didn't tell him to just plead guilty.

I'm quite sure his lawyers encouraged/advised/begged PF to take a plea.

I imagine that at this point, Steigerwald and Porter are curled up in fetal positions under the defense table, rocking back and forth with their hands clapped over their ears, humming loudly and/or chanting, "Make it stop, make it stop, make it stop" to block out the sounds of the nails being driven home.

Probably why Sells banned a sketch artist, come to think of it...he wanted to leave those poor, hapless public defenders with some semblance of dignity.

No longer a stretch of the imagination to think PF gave KK details of how everything went down since we found out he likes to run his mouth.

This is the best news, being a blabbermouth , and people, now on the stand, repeating conversations.
Certainly SF knows, having PF as a son.
What will she reveal, if questioned about their conversations?

I also wonder if KK has told her secrets, especially at Vegas, shortly after her important errand.

Yes, unfortunately her last name is Frazee. Hopefully, that will be changed after the trial.

Because most people just can't believe someone is serious, not just blowing off steam or talking $h*!. I knew someone years ago who tended bar and heard this guy going on how he was going to kill his estranged girlfriend. Weeks later he shot her coming out of her house. The bartender felt awful, but I lived in that town at the time and I don't believe LE could have or maybe would have done anything. moo

LE may well have said there was nothing they could do (which would be a lie) but someone could have gone to Kelsey so she could have left town.

That is an excellent observation - this absolutely lends credibility to her testimony and like her or hate her - she’s nailing him and they are corroborating her - I wonder if they interviewed all 5 people on the list to care for The baby? And we will have even more bombshells ! IMO

Based on the timestamp, I think this paragraph is in error.

I believe it should read KK picked up the borrowed car from Conoco (with trash bags), and drove it to the Franch -- NOT Nash Ranch.

KK testified that she collected the black VW (left PF's vehicle at Conoco) and returned to the Franch where she added the trash bags from KB's condo to the burn pile.

I’m guessing Mr Moore thought PF was just blowing smoke and when he heard KB was missing, Mr Moore May have gone straight to LE. We just never knew.
