Lets be sure to add this "Mr Freeze" (from Batman) Gem to our list.

The fact he knew his call was being recorded and yet he still goes on to ask someone if the red barn at Nash Ranch was tore apart by LE yet. Well, Mr Freeze, if they had not searched it by then, they surely would after that recorded jail phone call.

ETA - Assuming this call was from jail but maybe not. Maybe he just assumed they were tapping into his calls by then.

"Frazee said during one call with Moore that their conversation “was being recorded” but he felt like he needed to ask if anything was “disrupted by the red barn” which Moore understood as the red barn at Nash Ranch. Moore said no, and Frazee said, “Oh, alright, just curious.” This phone call had indeed been recorded and was played in court Friday afternoon."

Oh the idiocy! lol

Good grief, even without poor Kelsey's body, there's absolutely no doubt who murdered her, in my eyes.

A freaking bloody nose? Really? Then he proceeded to ask if Moore thought that they could find any blood because he washed his clothes? He may as well confessed right there and then.

He knew that phone call was going to be recorded, yet the dummy asked if anything was disrupted by the red barn.

At least Moore called LE and Patrick's attorney after that call. I am sure it wasn't easy to do so, but he didn't wait for LE to come to him first. I am sure he's upset with himself for not saying something sooner, but he probably didn't think Patrick would actually kill Kelsey.

Obviously, I'm not in the lovin'-the-Stepfather camp so I'll just throw this out there:

Maybe hearing Patrick's concern about happenings at Nash Ranch made Moore worry that he would somehow get tangled up in Kelsey's disappearance since he and Patrick spent time there together?

Perhaps his motives in calling were pure. Perhaps not.

The fact that he called the lawyer first is odd but maybe I'm just turning into a suspicious nut.

I don't think there are any remains to find.. so PF deserves NO DEAL. moo! He can just rot.
But didn't one of the hired hands state that PF told them if you find bones they are just deer bones and antlers?

He was worried about them spotting bones.

Turkey Spam on white bread pushed through a hole in the cell door with one packet of catsup.
You forgot to mention the complementary spit!

Yes iirc. And from that, I am hoping (praying that I am wrong about no remains) that they have the trough with some dna remnants.. if that makes sense. Because I fully believe that he tossed the rest of her remains in a fast flowing river. moo

I think your assumption is correct, this was in fact a call from jail.

The admission of jailhouse phone calls was discussed during that pre-trial hearing, and PF saying that the call was being recorded, comes off as a fact.

He knew, because he was in jail at the time, and all those calls are recorded.

What a dumbass.

If not for that tiny little slip of telling Stepfather Moore he wanted to kill Kelsey and that, oh, by the way, I won't leave a body. Then, oops! It came true. Stupidity wiggles its way in every time.

That taped phone call with Moore makes me hungry for more of the same. I think they're coming!
Moore didn't come forward when KBs mom was pleading for help day after day. He ddn't come forward when it was all over the news. Nope..he came forward when he became aware that PFs phone may be recorded ..while he was talking to PF about a probable crime scene site.
Even then he didn't call LE.....he called PFs lawyer first. I wonder what he a..."hey this is Mr Moore, can I get busted by LE for talking to your client about a crime scene?" That answer was probably a yeah maybe so and THEN he calls LE.
smh

A couple of thoughts as I'm reading through...

They must have tapped his phone prior to his arrest. Right?? By the time he was arrested in late December, LE would already know all about Nash Ranch from KK. But, if not in jail, why would he ask Moore instead of going there himself. Maybe paranoid he was being followed too?

Seeing his lack of ability in keeping incriminating thoughts to himself, it's too bad they didn't have KK get him to spill it all on the phone (Amber Frey-style). Might not have even been a trial.

Frazee said during one call with Moore that their conversation “was being recorded” but he felt like he needed to ask if anything was “disrupted by the red barn” which Moore understood as the red barn at Nash Ranch. Moore said no, and Frazee said, “Oh, alright, just curious.” This phone call had indeed been recorded and was played in court Friday afternoon.

After this call, Moore immediately called Frazee’s attorney and then law enforcement. ...

  1. Wasn't there something stated right before the trial or at the beginning about a recorded call from the Jail that occurred back in February 2019? If I recall, we hadn't seen it in any of the warrants, etc. Perhaps this is the "recorded call" that Moore is referencing. I may have my cases mixed up.
  2. I am sure I am not alone loving all these bomb shells (evidence, facts) being presented one after another. We are getting closer and closer to justice for KB and family. These bomb shells have also seemed to help simmer down some of the posts that were rampant and ludicrous two or three days ago. I am referring to the ones that, in my opinion, seemed to be written with the purpose to cause discontent, and were lacking rationale. I am all for respectful discussion and obviously there will be differing of opinions, but what we experienced here on consecutive days this week seemed like a deliberate annoyance. While many of you highly engaged sleuths tactfully interacted, I kept looking for the STFU button (ok, my momma raised me better than that, the STHU button) but all I could find was the Like +Quote and Reply buttons!
MOO

BBM

We do our best with ole Rampant and Ludicrous.

Some days we lose our cool.

The truth has a cleansing effect though so other days we could be declared saints.

I think a lot of people on here will agree. After all we have heard and read there are no remains of Kelsey to be found. Her ashes ect. were put in that garbage pail and pretty well scattered all over Teller County. Her family would have been aware of that for a very long time. There is just nothing left of Kelsey to be found. So sad but true.
Then give them that piece of tooth. Even if they just put it in an urn and have a burial with it, it's a piece of her that they can bury and put in a grave, a place to put flowers, to remember her. Heck, if they have pieces of the hay that's discolored and the Berreth's would like it buried with her tooth, let them have it. Man, this breaks many of our hearts, wish I had something to say to comfort the Berreth family, but there are no words comforting enough to parents who lost a child to murder.

I'm sure you are right, that sick jerk obviously was serious when he told his friend "no body, no crime" and he made sure of it, didn't he? I have a string of curse words whirling through my mind, just for him.

UPDATED STORY: Compelling testimony from longtime friend of #PatrickFrazee wraps up the second week of the murder trial. The friend said he had multiple strange conversations with Frazee before and after #KelseyBerreth disappeared.
5:42 PM - 8 Nov 2019

Prosecutors attempt to corroborate witness in Patrick Frazee trial
[...]

... But at the end of Friday’s testimony it remained unclear whether the tooth belonged to the 29-year-old instructor pilot.

[...]

The wide net of the investigation also entangled a longtime friend of Frazee, Joseph Moore, who said he knew Frazee since he was a boy and considered him like a stepson.

But Moore testified that Frazee in April 2018 made a comment that he had “figured out a way” to kill Berreth. Moore reacted in shock, he said, but Frazee didn’t take the comment back.

“He said, ‘No body, no crime’” Moore testified.

Six days after Thanksgiving but before Berreth was reported missing, Moore had a conversation with Frazee during which Frazee worried about having Kelsey Berreth’s blood on his clothes. Frazee said the blood was from a nosebleed Berreth had.

[...]

Moore is only the second person close to Frazee who has been called to testify thus far and became emotional while describing their relationship.

“You don’t want to picture someone you’ve known so long and have trusted,” Moore said, tears in his eyes. “You don’t want to think they could have done something like this.”

[...]

Patrick started to view Kelsey as an inconvenient and aggravating object. But more importantly, because she was the mother of “his” child, he couldn’t discard her like normal breakup without killing her. Psychopathic Patrick couldn’t consider shared custody, because Patrick doesn’t share. He wants full control and compliance, whether through threats, punishment, and/or ultimately through murder.
yes to him..only one option worked for him. She had to go.

Is this not a DA’s trial dream come true!

So much evidence all convicting PF. Add to this evidence, his human cleaner upper who can vouch for her monster boyfriend’s actions and plans leading up to the day he murdered KB

Admitting I was not for her sweet deal, I still question if LE couldn’t have gotten the information with a stiffer plea deal. Plus, the offer was made very quickly, another mistake. IMO.

However, CL has hung the noose around PF’s neck! For any minuses she felt or feared in the relationship, she is the one who tied his murder of KB into a nice perfect package.

CL’s testimony and the rest of the testimony given up to today, gives PF no hope for ever walking in fresh air again.
IMO. Just cannot imagine how a jury will find a different verdict.

The witnesses all provide corroboration of KK’s account, which is incredibly important. They’re testifying about different (relevant) periods of time.

Most of them have only briefly appeared on the stand, some as short as several minutes.

Besides that, this trial is moving at a brisk pace, and is only scheduled for about 3 weeks. That’s short for a trial with this much evidence.

I’d be more concerned if the trial was much longer.

And I think bringing in a zinger each morning and afternoon keeps everyone energized.

I can't imagine that this jury is bored yet.

DA May seems to know how to mix it up. It's an art!

And if he has a phone or computer they seized I won’t be surprised if the google delivered this in response to “how to burn a body” gas and motor oil in metal - can’t wait for Tuesday !

Best solution for cleaning blood is H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) It can be purchased at any health food store at 35%, although you would never use it at that strength. Very caustic. It is used in the food industry for cleaning machines.
Many months ago I posted an article, easy to find on the net, A Clean Getaway.
I use 1 part dawn 2 parts peroxide (3% is better). Shake and spray when white foam leaves repeat again and again. Then I throw it in the wash. Or I use my carpet cleaner. There is no blood I can't clean. Even week old blood. However, I can testify that luminol will show traces of blood even after I've cleaned it.

that's so sad...just the tooth..which also ma be no longer as wasn't it the subject of the consumptive testing? If so I hope it can show her DNA. If that's all that is left I hope it can at least leave NO doubt.

Oh! Was it the tooth that was the subject of the consumptive testing? I’m just trying to catch up, so maybe that’s been covered.
