I would add CC to that list, just because he told so many other people, with everything that's been revealed so far. It makes sense he would confide in him too.
MOO

That dude fully knew. Wasn’t he the one at the bank demanding to know what footage they had or whatever?

BBM:

I don't think that's a safe assumption to make.

She's already looking at the possibility of "leaving her kids" for 3 years due to her "giddy" feelings for Babe Ruthless.

To be quite frank, I don't think her kids factor much into her decision-making.

It makes me extremely sad for her kids.

JMO.
Agree. She put pf above her kids well-being over and over...

The only reason I don't see her leaving is
Babe Ruthless!

no, that was the other father figure, RS where
PF spent the evening of Thanksgiving, we think.

What's with PF being friends with all these older guys? Have we heard about any friends closer to his own age?

  • #945
As a prosecutor, I wholeheartedly disagree with your take on these DAs. You clearly don’t know the work that goes into trial.
Armchair quarterbacks must be the bane of your existence, riolove77.

Apologies from all the folks here who stand in awe of what you do everyday (and into the night).

Don't think we have. But I've seen this in other
young men who's father disappeared on them at a young age. They really are subconsciously looking for daddy to hang out with.

I can’t wait for the defense to present their argument, it’s bound to be absolutely hilarious.

BBM:

You spelled "concession speech" wrong.

I have followed this case from the beginning. However I have not been able to read one single post from the comment threads. It's been enough just to try to keep up with the daily news in the other thread. So, if someone else has already said this, I apologize ahead of time.

"How - dumb - IS - this guy?"

OMG. Moore' testimony.....

(......and knowing the people on this thread, I'm almost certain it HAS been said already. So sorry for the hollow apology. )

But I totally get it. Narcissists think they are smarter than everyone else. Add psychopath to that and it's no wonder.

BBM

Ha! It's really all you needed to know.
You nailed the NYT headline for right before Thanksgiving.

Well said !!!

Thank you, for serving to seek justice, speak for those that can no longer and protecting us one vile criminal at a time.

You're one of the reasons I sleep better at night.

HO..

Amen.

Right, she might just get probation.
I hope she is sentenced to three years, though.

Imo

A couple of years ago, a 20 yr old WA Soldier came home after he'd been away at military training exercise. He shot his wife (19) in the back of the head while she was sitting at her computer because he learned the alcohol he requested ready for him when he arrived home was purchased by a different guy than he requested. (Both husband and wife were underage).

This was the first case I recall where the DA received victim impact statements/letters from the Public and Judge allowed them in the record prior to sentencing.

Also, nobody challenged the Public not also victims here because the defendant's actions were deemed enough to outrage and offend normal community sensibilities.

Colorado also allows victim impact statements that may be considered by the court in deciding sentencing.

Just knowing that KK could walk away with only probation, I've long thought that public letters should be addressed to DA Dan May requesting the court impose the maximum sentence allowed against KK as the penalty for her actions in this crime that greatly offended the writer's normal sensibilities.

MOO

ETA: No surprise the defendant here shares the same qualities as PF -- control freak and wife couldn't do anything right.

Back to the Dalia Dippolito case as an example.... I'm not real familiar with all the details since I wasn't paying attention back then so don't quote me on things, but it was on our news daily (so is the PF case when they go over what is coming up on Court TV). My husband was called for jury duty on DD's last appeal (think it was the 3rd or 4th appeal.... thankfully, after hours in the courtroom with her and the attorneys, he was not selected for the final jury) Anyway, someone tipped off LE of her desire to pay for a hit man to kill her husband. Based on this, LE set up a sting operation with an undercover LE officer posing to be a part of the "hit". They went through all the motions with DD, including the payment exchange and recorded conversations. They even mocked the death of her husband. You would have to watch some of the videos (especially of her reaction when they told her her husband was dead). Her husband (at the time) was alerted to the sting operation and thankfully is safe today. She is in jail.

Same could have been the case with KB, if someone had only stepped forward. It would have saved KB's life and busted PF for good..... and no one would have been hurt. So sad :(
Yes. This right here! But not one person stepped forward for Kelsey. That's so wrong. :(

and I remember watching the video you are talking about omg.
and also when she was asked if she was sure she wanted him killed
DD: Yes, 5000%!
lmao

Reports from trial, while differing in level of detail, seem to consistently refer to ‘outside the condo’/ outside ‘Berreth’s car’.

This is another issue I have running through my head after statements that have been made during the trial. KK admits to having put the trash bags next to KB's vehicle (Toyota?) and the dogs hit on that. What I question??.... did PF pull the tote out of the condo and to the left of the front door, KB's personal parking area (if you're coming out of the condo) and set it down by KB's car (same area KK said she put the trash bags). Makes sense to drag it out the door, to the left, and set it beside her car...seems like that was a much shorter distance..... then come around from the back parking area of her condo to pick up the tote and put it in the back of his truck....just like KK did with the trash bags. It appears to be a long drag from the condo door to the back parking area.... and potentially the neighbors Arlo camera would have picked it up. If he was bent over, dragging a heavy black tote just a few feet away and setting it beside her car, the camera may not even pick up on that.....

Not sure if I'm making sense in what I'm trying to describe. I so wish we were able to watch this trial.....

And really...how long can that take?

I'm behind and maybe someone has already responded but I'll give it my 2 cents.

I suspect Kelsey was an empath and did not suffer from low self esteem. I've seen this happen in my own family. Narcs prey on empaths (as well as some who may suffer with low self-esteem). The empath's acute sense of empathy and a heart full of love, the type of love they have known, allows them to make all kinds of excuses for the narc. He's had a hard life, his mother's a "B", his sister is a "B", he didn't have a father active in his life, but I can make it better. My love can help him, change him. Well, sometimes you just can't fix that kind of "broken." When it doesn't work, they just try harder and harder because they continue to hope they will see that wonderful guy they met, who was just hiding behind a mask and his "love bombing", and when they see THAT man again, if only for a moment, a day, maybe even a week, they think their love is making a difference. But it is always short lived. These broken monsters CAN'T be fixed. Thankfully, not all narcs are murdering narcs. Unfortunately, KB met up with the worst of the worst who had found another narc to help him in his sick plan.

KB didn't suffer from low self esteem. At least not before PF got her in his evil snare. JMHO
Excellent post with so much truth.

Oh, that's yet another sterling character from PF's motley crew.

Initials of Mr. "Forget you ever saw us" are RS.

RS is the self-professed "Best friend" and "Father figure" to PF.

He's also the one who intimated to Agent Slater that KB disappeared herself voluntarily.

He's not been called to the stand.
Yet.
Something tells me DA May is letting both Ma F and RS sweat it out a bit, and by a bit, I mean, for as long as possible.

Have I mentioned how brilliant Dan May is recently?

They're both absolutely going to be called to that stand.

*ETA: @gitana1 , See pages 9, 10, & 11 of Attachment A for more on RS.

I think he's also the one who told PF not to get out of the car so he wouldn't be seen at Kelseys condo.
That guy had to know something.

I agree with you.

I don't think he's out of the woods himself here yet.

RS isn't clear by a long shot.
