I kind of dread tomorrow. I don't know if I can handle too many more "bombshells". I put myself in the Berreth's place, and I just don't know how the father and brother can go everyday without wanting to deck Patrick- I am sure that they would love nothing more than to be able to do so. I give them credit. It broke my heart to read that Kelsey's Dad broke down when Baby K's photo was put up, while Krystal was on the stand.

I feel for her mother. Such a classy lady all throughout all of this.

I guess with Thanksgiving coming up in a couple of weeks, it just hurts me to know that last year, unknown to the Berreth's, would be Kelsey's last holiday alive, before that brute murdered her. This has to be so tough, the trial at this time of year- not that any time is a good time, but damn, close to the anniversary of Kelsey's death? Two Thanksgivings in a row, ruined over that brute and his sidekick and many others, who could have stopped him from doing this.

May they all have a rotten Thanksgiving, all that knew about this and did nothing. May Kelsey's face appear in their minds all day long......as her family continues to grieve and always will.

Yup, Thanksgiving will never be the same for them ever again.

The more “bombshells” though, the more likely it is that this Thanksgiving will see their daughter’s killer beginning a life stretch behind bars.

Why was KB staying with him? Maybe thinking it was best for their daughter? But it sounds like he was verbally abusing from early on?

Not victim blaming at all, but PF sounds like he treated her like dirt, and in front of others.
Well, they didn't live together but according to Kelsey's friend, she wanted to work things out.
I think eventually she would have changed her mind and wanted him out of her life.

Imo

As much as some of these cowboy community types in that area are, wouldn’t actually surprise me if he had some lackeys that would watch her.

What kind of people would not report a guy constantly talking about ways he could kill his gf and get away with it?

The amount of disregard his cowboy “friends” demonstrated for human life is appalling. They seem the type that doesn’t know the difference between a hole in the wall and something else.
She's in Idaho though,he's in Colorado. So they can't really keep much of an eye on her. I like you're analogy, sums things up perfectly..

KB told her Doss Aviation co-workers about the strange incident with KK at her door with coffee!! KB was indeed suspicious...

I hadn't read that. Do you recall where you read it?

I also was curious about the reference peeps have made to PF throwing a bottle of Gatoraid at KK.

Yes, I found it on the media thread. It was in one of Sam Kraemer's tweets.

The Gatorade ref was in KK's testimony, IIRC.

so an unrelated and yet sadly related note here. I was a little bit of testimony on Court Tv from one of the Teresa Sievers trials. I knew that she had been killed with a hammer but I was only aware of one man doing the well..hammering. Well, I was wrong, two men did that. So sad. Anyway, the first 🤬🤬🤬 didn't think it would be hard to do..so he hit her in the back of the head with that hammer and guess what...she didn't fall down. She wasn't knocked out and...most terribly she could talk and recognoze him! She said, "why, why are you doing this?" He hit her twice more and of course she was not down or dead...so the other guy had to come in and hammer her, too.

So, if anyone thinks there is no way KB could be conscious or talk after being hit with a baseball bat by 🤬🤬🤬 PF..well sadly, think again.

SO SAD
:(

We really need some synonyms for "bombshell".

JUSTICE FOR KELSEY!

I need to say that before I go to bed, I feel so bad for her family & for her. I’m praying that PF will never spend another moment after this trial without bars in his ugly vapid face.

I agree with you. One bombshell after another. KB's "last words" threw me right over the edge...and into the toilet... I had been silently hoping Friday would have been a quieter kinda testimony day. Not so....
We want all the Bombshells KN can get, but it can be very emotional.....

We absolutely do. I looked for some, and their all crap. We’re going to have to make up our own word. @GordianKnot is great at that!...

We all know kk was just his best friend, Cheer leader, Crime scene cleaner, Babysitter, baby aborter, ranch hand, side piece, and definitely...
"The one that got away"!
And most importantly, the one that put him away.

KK is charged with a Class 6 felony. The presumptive sentence range for Class 6 is 1 year to 18 months.

Regardless of which extreme aggravating factor cited including "Extraordinary Risk of Harm Crimes," the maximum enhanced sentence penalty for a Class 6 felony is 3 years.

(Not applicable enhanced sentence exception is "Big Habitual Offender" where 6 years is maximum).

See Table 3, Felony Sentencing Ranges including Special Sentencing Categories and Habitual Offender Laws -- pg 8.

https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/si...riminalJusticeSpecialSentencingIssueBrief.pdf

For each class of felony and misdemeanor, Colorado law specifies a presumptive sentencing range. However, the General Assembly has adopted several special sentencing categories that provide the court with the discretion to impose a sentence that is shorter or longer than the presumptive range if certain circumstances exist. This memorandum provides an overview of the special sentencing categories in state law for felony and misdemeanor offenses, and also explains Colorado's habitual offender and special offender sentencing laws. A summary of recent legislative changes to habitual offender laws and sentencing for certain misdemeanors is included.

Thank you, this just reminded me of the Skylar Richardson case. I honestly believe that judge would have given her time if he could have. He didn't seem very happy with the jurors verdicts. I'm hoping since Judge Sells has the opportunity he gives KK the full 3 years.

Kenney said Frazee suggested that she drug Berreth’s favorite coffee drink, a caramel macchiato, and give it to Berreth. She also told police that she carried the drugs that she could use to poison the coffee. Police said Kenney admitted to buying the drink to give to Berreth but that she didn’t put any drugs in that drink.

“Krystal tells investigators that she didn’t comply with any of those and that the last time she was here on October 21 she sat and said ‘I can’t do this…’ and tells Patrick ‘I can’t do this,'” said Viehman.

Court Update: Patrick Frazee's Lover Was Told To Drug Kelsey Berreth's Coffee
Here's the part that I don't get...WHY bother going and giving KB the drink, if she wasn't going to add the poison? What was the point of going and talking to her, at all?

Did they cross examine her on that issue?

Krystal is no hero here, she did not come forward on her own. She did not do the right thing. She did not care about the Berreth family, their worry, concern, and anguish. She didn't give one whiff about that baby, throwing out her toys. Instead, she hired a lawyer, only agreed to "tell the truth" when a deal that she could live with was made. She was busted first, and the only way to bust Patrick, was if she told all on his part.

"I don't buy her being scared of Patrick. They're two peas in a pod. Had no evidence came up of these two being involved, she'd be happily traveling to Colorado meeting her cowboy on the weekends again."

They're "two peas in a pod, is exactly right. That's why I don't understand.... The animosity towards those who are pointing that out.

We get it! pf was the one who physically killed Kb. What would you like us to do ? Get down on the ground and kiss the floor that she walks on?!

kk is equally responsible for Kelsey's death.

I have always wondered if the secondary reason for the drugged coffee was so PF could use it as evidence she abused drugs (just like the supposed picture of her at the liquor store).
But that would only work if she was killed right after she drank the coffee, right? How long do those drugs stay in your system?

Thank you so much for the detailed notes!
- October 5 or 6, 2017, PF told Moore that KB called him at 3am wanting PF to take her to the ER... that's how PF claims he knew KB was pregnant...
^ I commented on this on the previous thread, and then I thought I had misunderstood and it was Moore that didn't know KB was pregnant. But I had it right the first time. PF claimed (to Moore) that he didn't know KB was pregnant until he took her to ER!! Bovine excrement!! Dan May, please call CB back to the stand to reveal yet another of PF's lies. That is bovine excrement.
I agree with you, except for calling CB back to the stand. That poor lady did her job, and they have enough from her alone already about Patrick. Moore has also given us all quite an earful.

Calling Kelsey's mom back to the stand will just hurt and torture her all over again. It isn't necessary. Patrick's an arse, a lying one to boot, a manipulator and an abuser. This one piece of information isn't going to set him free.
