The more I read and hear about KB, the more she reminds me of the kind of person I would want to know. I find myself thinking of how lonely she might have felt far away from her family trying to make a life with someone that talked/treated her very poorly. She probably needed to seek treatment for stress and anxiety because of the man currently in her life. He probably told her she was crazy many times, you know, the old gaslighting technique.

They need to put him away so no other woman will suffer like Kelsey did.

I so agree. Joe Moore said PF berated KB right in fromt of him. It hurts my heart to see how hard she was trying in the face of this COMPLETE loser.

Yeah, I was just hoping that they could prove it was a human tooth. I thought that was realistic, and would have been damning.

But determining that it was also a female tooth, was a huge bonus. The defense can’t say that it belongs to some animal, or that it’s PF’s or something.

Where it was found is key, as it was an area that had not been searched and excavated prior to KK directing law enforcement to it.

Massive corroboration, especially when coupled with the burned plastic.

And some of us may find comfort knowing that, along with everything else, all the electronic evidence, and blood evidence, and timeline evidence, it was Kelsey's tooth that bit him in the a$$! You gotta love stupid!

you are all forgetting that these people all knew PF and they did not know KB and he told them, variously: KB did not want to be a mother; she had substance problems; she was in rehab; she was not providing for the baby, etc. From their limited perspective, he was a poor single dad trying to save his child from a bad parent. So, no, they were not going to go to LE. It is only now, later, in retrospect, that they see the lies, IMO. Also, sorry, but so many keep saying that calling LE would have saved KB. People with restraining orders are killed daily, so, IMO, if one of these people had gone to LE, I am not convinced the person would have been believed, especially since KB did not herself seem to be afraid of PF. She had not moved away; she shared custody and apparently PF had her gun (?). On Thanksgiving, KB is making sweet potatoes and PF is concealing a bat. Somehow, IMO, he was a convincing actor and no one saw inside his head. The one person who knew more, KK, was willing to be an accomplice. I would like to know exactly when CB realized how bad things were because I think she was being truthful when she said KB was not afraid of PF. I also think if she believed, before the disappearance, that KB was in danger, she would have tried to have her move back home. IMO.
Well, it's one thing to feel sorry for a guy because he has to put up with the horrible mother of his child.

But knowing that he is about to murder or has already murdered that person and thinking that is not important enough to do something about is another matter.

Imo

No. It was merely PF expressing that he understood what the judge was telling him.

The only surprise was that he was able to give a coherent answer, as opposed to some sort of unintelligible grunt.

I'm sure he tried that first. They probably had to prompt him to respond with words.

Lol! So true! And I about choked when I saw you’re new avatar! Too funny!

Do you think we will hear from the CPS worker PF spoke with?

I hope so!

Does anyone think PF is beginning to realize how stupid he is yet?

Nope. He's a narc - they're smarter than everyone. Forever. Somehow this is KKL's fault, or mom's fault, or KB's fault, etc.

Does anyone know how to setup one of those polls with a link we sometimes see on WS cases here?

I think we already know what it would show but it would be interesting to see an anonymous poll for this question:

Question:
Based on all the evidence you have heard was covered in the trial, if you were on the jury and had to decide this case today, what would your verdict be for PF?
A-Guilty
B-Not Guilty
C-Undecided - cannot decide one way or the other

Maybe someone who knows how to setup one of those polls can set one up for us in next day or so.

I can set up a survey monkey poll very easily. Any other questions to add?

Sam Notes...

- Kelsey's coworkers
- HR rep Jennifer Barth ?- got to know KB bc she was excited that Doss hired a woman... had pulled KB's emergency file.. called her emergency contact Patrick Frazee... wanted to make sure he was aware that she was missing... he asked someone who she could hear him with if he could take the baby... he said baby was fine... PF told her that KB had a drinking problem, went to rehab. Jennifer challenged him on that, that coworkers would have known if KB had a drinking problem. In that line of work, her coworkers would know. KB had taken a leave for chronic fatigue issues, not drugs or alcohol. PF didn't really respond to that.
PF said KB had probably taken off to get herself healed up.
- Doss was switching ownership/benefits. Frazee was listed as the beneficiary on KB's life instance. Nothing said about motive verbatim, but PF owed on loans, had never paid KK back for some animals (shocking)
- Defense tried to attack her credibility, wasn't too much
- Jury question #37 of this trial - was KB ever drug tested at work? Answer: No
- Jury question #38 - when was KB going from full to part time... KB was going to do that in 2020 (I think he said 20?? might be 19..).. she would be working less than 32 hours a week and would lose her health insurance.

- Melissa.. HR business partner.. worked with KB on-boarding when she went on maternity leave and came back. Employees take drug/alcohol test when hired... KB passed.
- Melissa explained to KB she would lose benefits when she went part time
- Jury question #39.. did KB say why she was requesting part time status... Melissa doesn't recall... just that KB asked after returning from maternity leave

This is what PF meant when he remarked about the case being so widely talked/published about. If the case had remained local, he must have thought no big problem. But, the headlines, TV coverage were a worry that came true for him. Praying for justice for Kelsey.
He was more comfortable in keeping it local.
True that LE almost missed the blood....not almost...did. Hate to think what would have happened if kb's brother hadn't seen it.
Would pf have gotten away? Shudder to think.

I just wanted to say, that's a mighty adorable doggy in your avatar. :)

Aw thank you! She was the best lil thing. I’ve been wanting to change my avatar, esp for this trial, but I just can’t bring myself to yet.

Maybe when the guilty verdict comes in, and there’s finally “justice” for Kelsey. That will be the perfect excuse to change it!

I really couldn’t even venture a guess there. I would have expected her to have been called much earlier, but they might decide to circle back.
I think we will hear from her. There is a reason why PF’s lawyer wanted that interview excluded. Most likely PF lies about things that can be verified.

Funny but i guess he's got something going for him...look at who he's reeled in. None of those women are stupid is my point. I view him as a grunting monstern too...but I must be missing SOMEthing

That would make sense. He lied to a couple dozen people, but lying to someone in an official capacity who documented it at the time, would carry a lot of weight.

Just like his recorded phone call with law enforcement about his movements on Thanksgiving day, and his relationship with Kelsey.

Im not totally sure but I think it has to be done within the WS platform or something to stay within TOS.

Below is an example of another thread where I saw a poll on it.

I was so struck by PF texting that woman and telling her not to get "sassy" when she mentioned him not taking payment for shoeing her horses. Aside from how absurd and condescending it is, it was a brief glimpse of how controlling he is. I wonder if she found it cute or endearing. Ugh.

PF and KK’s multiple phone calls within the time KP was murdered, would have definitely tied KK to PF. I believe that putting the pressure on KK would have broken her w/wo the sweet deal, might have taken longer. When KK gave it up, they would have found it. She would have led them to it.

my take on the ins. matter is Doss did not contact PF until KB had not reported to work for at least a week. most companies will release someone no questions asked if they fail to report and/or fail to call. of course KB fit that model because she was dead. but Doss was probably just exercising company policy and letting PF know he had COBRA rights. MOO.

you are forgetting that Doss got a text from KB from ID:

Kelsey Berreth Case: What to Know About the Missing ...

https://www.insideedition.com › kelsey-berreth-case-what-to-know-about-t...

13 hours ago - Berreth's employer, Doss Aviation, received texts from her cellphone saying she would not be at work for the next week, police said. Berreth ...

Of couse it was not really from KB. Not sure what conversation PF might have had with Doss HR but HR was experiencing "cognitive dissonance" for sure.

- PF said KB wouldn't reach out for weeks or months to check on her daughter...

- State recalled Chris Adams, CBI, one of the lead investigators on this case... randomly placed testimony... they looked everywhere for KB... tip lines.. social media... 500-600 tips on this case... everything from psychics to people who never called back.
- What KK said PF did with KB remains... PF said he would put them in a river...
- something about the silver trash can... that the ranch hands said they cleaned up at the ranch.. picked up 100-150 nails with a magnet.. remember seeing ashes in a silver trash can..
- no info to suggest that KB is alive
- saw no custody exchanges on police camera. PF had been telling people that custody exchanges were made at the local police station.
- KB had bought her gun in 2014
- no cross, no jury questions

- Stephanie from police station who reviews video.. testified that she took the buccal swabs of baby K... "think she thought I was going to give her candy... she kind of bit down and wouldn't let go." Had never taken from a 1 year old before.

- Robert Hill at Doss, worked with KB... was asked if they were romantically close... Hill said no. He thought PF was KB's husband.
- Said KB would describe her relationship with Frazee family.. KB said she didn't really get along with PF's mother sheila.
- one day KB seemed really stressed. ... said PF was "acting like a dick"
- didn't know anything about KB's custody arrangement... or that she had supposedly given up custody of her daughter
- they were at dinner at Chili's... he asked if PF was coming to the Doss Christmas party... she said no because PF only likes wearing khakis
- KB told him about a random lady coming over to her house bringing coffee which was weird
- Hill said he never flew with KB but that she didn't use drugs or alcohol
- good friends, but not romantic. got close over time
- on cross.. he said said he thought KB was married because that's what KB told people at work...
- no jury questions

- Carolyn Sharp? at Doss... gave more context about being a flight instructor at Doss...
- they are in such close quarters, would certainly be able to tell if someone had alcohol.. can tell what people had for breakfast or if they didn't do laundry, it's that tight
- KB stayed in Carolyn's guest room when training so didn't have to make the long commute every day. called PF pretty much every night.
- had to stop training when baby bump got too big
- KB worried about bringing baby K into work one day... just an admin day, not flying.. Sharp said that was fine, everyone would want to see and hold her... happy baby...
- incredible the way that KB was able to devote herself to this high stress job, training the next pilots of the Air Force and raise baby as basically a single mother
- no alcohol issues with KB
- described procedure where they make eye contact and ask the pilot are you sure you are able to do this mission, did you get a good night sleep, are you up for this.. and look for bloodshot eyes, etc... and that there was no issue ever with Kelsey

Yeah, you just have to start a new thread and choose the poll option - nothing too tricky, but they're weird about that here, too. So, I guess we don't get a poll then :( Bummer! It was a good idea.

ETA: Weird wasn't really the right word - just particular within the TOS about who can/can't start a thread.

BBM. Of course she did - a sweet older cowboy/ferrier (gag - I can't even write that!). I'm sure she's thinking she dodged a huge bullet now.

Sam notes.

- missed name of this witness I think from Doss..
- KB had said when asked what Thanksgiving plans were... said not much, maybe making a turkey
- Kelsey told him about going to that facility in August 2018
-Kelsey loved being a mother
- no cross, no jury questions, excused and released

- another Doss guy.. the one who said when they head out to planes, they pass people who look you in eyes and make sure you are up for mission..
- KB explained the facility as a rest program.. was gone 1-2 weeks. a doctor had explained she may have chronic fatigue
- kb was scheduled to return to work November 26... he tried calling her 3 times.. she never responded
- no cross, no jury questions, excused and released

I am not an attorney. This is my own opinion. This trial is a slam dunk that shatters the backboard.
It is this simple.
There has been nothing, absolutely nothing thus far to support PF did not kill KB. At all. Zero.

There has however been everything under the sun that supports that not only did PF kill KB, no one else but PF could have possibly killed her.

Bam. Well said.
