I was wondering the same. I'm no KK fan, but I wonder at what point LE warned her of these notes.

Remember the day she testified? They went to elaborate steps to have her go on thru a side entrance. But then they forgot to unlock the door so she and her attorney had to stand there and wait. She would have been a sitting duck if PF had actually found someone willing to do his dirty work.

The letters listed several people in this case: Krystal Lee (who also went by last name Kenney); her father, her siblings, her good friend, her ex-husband... as well as Joseph Moore, a longtime family friend of #PatrickFrazee, and many others.

Wow. An inspired doubling-down of The Frazee Plan, which of course up to now had proven absolutely flawless.

I now feel like this guy studied crimedoing by watching the master criminals in Home Alone, and I hereby dub PF The Numpty Nonpareil.

And my heart breaks for KB and her family and friends, who have had to endure today's horrific evidence. So vicious and so pointless. It gained him what, exactly?

Bentley testified he didn't receive a plea deal in other cases he's facing to testify. Only a promise from the DA's office that those cases would be combined.

All of the letters, according to lead investigator Gregg Slater, appear to match #PatrickFrazee's handwriting. Also worth noting: we are not naming former inmate, prosecutors asked us not to because he fears retaliation from prison gang. #kelseyberreth

Just as a follow-up, and no I do not have a link but I do have a message that I got a reply from Sam.

I questioned him, as I did someone else who posted here, that they were allowed to show the timeline that was talked about yesterday. I had said I did not think that such was allowed to be presented to the jury wants it went back because it was just a creation by the prosecution of evidence. It was not evidence.

I just received a private communication from Sam who said that yes, it was going to be allowed to go back with a jury.

I had questioned an original poster about this, and the original poster commented back to me that it was not just for a compilation for the jury, it was actually a legal document that was in fact shared amongst legal folks during the investigation so therefore it was admitted. To the original poster and a Sam, thank you! They will have the timeline!

But, Steigerwald asked Bentley, prosecutors didn't just make that one promise, right? Did prosecutors also agree to ask members of the media not to name you in their reports, due to prison gang ties? Yes, Bentley replied.

In another note, #PatrickFrazee appears to speak directly to Jacob Bentley, the jail inmate from whom Frazee is seeking help, and with whom he's passing these notes: "Make your own notes of mine and flush mine," the note read.

Also, on cross examination by Steigerwald, Bentley said he had previously been facing a felony burglary charge that would have netted him up to 30 years in prison. That charge, which is still pending, was recently dropped to misdemeanor.

And there it is again.

PF revealing that he's titillated by the prospect of committing violence, and murder.

He needs to be fried, not incarcerated.

No wonder DA May tried to argue he had legal grounds for seeking the dp.

The AG has a lot to answer for here in shooting DA May down when he made the case that he had the special circumstances needed to pursue capital charges.

Still on cross by defense, Bentley said he originally came forward with the #PatrickFrazee notes, because he wanted a plea deal in his pending legal case. He admitted telling an investigator that the letters were his "ticket."

Other letters from #PatrickFrazee to an inmate discussed concerns that Frazee had that other people would find out about his alleged request to make witnesses disappear ahead of his upcoming trial: "All this ****'s just between us???" one asked.
