Slater is a state law enforcement agent, so it wouldn’t apply to him.

Even if they did work some federal charges in there though, he ain’t going to Florence. There are tons of men just like him, who have committed far worse federal crimes than solicitation to commit murder.

Ah, you're right he's CBI. My bad.

Can't I just hope for him to go to ADX? Cmon.

I can see the adoption of Baby K move swift and speedily.

At this point I just can't see MaF or EF fighting for the baby.

MOO the court will by pass either of them getting custody and baby K then will be called: Kaley Berreth

No judge on planet earth would give custody of that baby to the Frazees.

At this point, it’s a mere formality. Hopefully it’s a quick process, and the Berreths can put the custody issue behind them.
Yes. Recently (well, 2 years ago) a very close friend of mine was murdered by her husband. It truly was "a mere formality" when it came to granting custody to the children's maternal grandparents.

Ha! I just hate people being disappointed.

I'm so relieved that the trial is over and Kelsey and her family have some semblance of justice. May PF rot in prison for the cruel, inhumane way he took Kelsey's life.
ETA: Not that there IS a kind, humane way to take someones life.

dbm

The decomposition smell would be very apparent after two days, hard to believe KK did not get a whiff of that.

That may be part of her story that KK chose to leave out.

I imagine there are more than a few gross details she won't share.

I wouldn't put it past them to fight for custody out if spite.

I’m glad the verdict was guilty, that it was reached quickly, and the sentencing was nearly immediate.

The shorter the trial, the better for that poor family who had to endure it.

That would be awful.

And to be honest, folks in the community would become enraged.
Not a good move for Frazee's to try.

Apparently there was some sort of light out here, that they probably used to see what they were doing during the fire.

I hadn’t heard about that before, or the fact that he poured gas inside the tote.
Just one more thing to add to the long list of sick things this jerk did. Can you imagine, pouring gas on the mother of your child's deceased body, after brutally killing her? Then to show no emotion throughout the trial? This guy is way beyond rehabilitating.

Something tells me this might not be the last time we hear something about PF. With his propensity for violence and abuse, it wouldn’t surprise me if he beats someone up in prison...inmate, guard...unless he’s in solitary confinement. Maybe not...I’m just thinking about Watts, and how that day when he was sentenced, I figured that was the last we’d hear about him. But no, he kept creeping up like an infected wound that just wouldn’t go away. Maybe this will be different with PF. I wonder if investigators will visit him later on down the road to see if he feels like talking...
Well, I'm more inclined to think someone's going to beat him up. He's just a tad arrogant and he may think he's some kinda gangsta but he's WAY out of his league. He may have felt tough beating a poor, defenceless 110 lb. woman to death, but he's no match for what's inside of max. prison. It won't be anything like the county jail. If we hear about him I'm guessing he's going to be the one on the receiving end of the violence, unless of course they give him protection. That would irk me because he doesn't deserve any. JMHO

He is who he is, and he’s probably been that way for a long time.

Atleast now everyone knows what he is, and he is far the hell away from the public.

Yes, and I think even if it was unspoken, PF knew he had her approval. Sick people. I do hope they can connect her to the recent jailhouse letters. That would be the icing on my cake!

I would also hope that she and EF will now drop their quest for custody and allow the B's to proceed to full custody and adoption. It would seem ridiculous to continue. Their dysfunction as a family has been outed for all to see. As well, SF is in no condition to look after a busy toddler and I think she's a dangerous old coot to boot. And EF, is only an aunt, and not a very nice one at that. Some serious issues with her too. All JMHO.

I hope they won't have the money to pay attorneys to pursue the case.

I wouldn't think the sister would put up her inheritance and we know SF2 won't.

Besides maybe they'll all just keep fighting over the money until billable hours eat it up!

I'd love for them to charge him on the other solicitation charges. I could be wrong (perhaps someone more knowledgeable on the issue could help) but I think solicitation to have a federal agent murdered could carry a federal charge.

Nothing I'd love to see more than him spend the rest of his miserable life @ ADX Florence. Sounds like a horrible miserable place. Perfect for him.
Wow! LWOP + 156 years + even more!! AND 5 years parole. Warms my heart. Now THAT would be the little purdy sprinkles on the icing (Ma F in cuffs) on my cake :)

eta: I see that @MassGuy already responded to @GoJacks post :( You just had to burst that bubble, didn't you? :p

Very good point! We don’t talk about that fact. She put her kids in danger by conspiring with a murderer. I want to hear from her ex that he’s protecting his kids from her. I hope he’s a good enough father to do so and not just want someone around to help him deal with his kids.
I've wondered about the home situation for the last year. What a horrible mess for everyone involved. PF's victims are far and wide.

I’m still insanely confused about how PF managed to leave not just bread crumbs, but an entire loaf that led back to him, but somehow managed to fully dispose of Kelsey’s body in a manner where it has still not been found.

I feel like today was a bit tainted by the fact that her body hasn’t been, and may never be, returned home to her family.
I know. It bothers me, too, that even a small piece of her hasn't been recovered. For the Berreth's sake, so they could give her a burial. A place to put flowers on special days. A place for Baby K to visit her mother, if she wants to as an adult.

This was just evil on so many levels. Layers of evil. I think this is another reason why I, a complete stranger to all involved, can't forgive Krystal. She knew Kelsey was in that tote. She knew she was murdered, went to the condo, before her body was burned. If she had just called LE right away, the Berreth's may have had Kelsey's body to bury. They have nothing left of her. Because of two sick and evil individuals.

I agree @MassGuy I think we just saw the thin outer layer of PF peeled back. He is a deviant monster .

Guilty as sin ! I hope he rots in a hell of his own making . No idea of what that really means , I'm just so glad he's done for.

Now, how about the other 49 states getting on the ball like Colorado does. Watts & Frazee ----> practically revolving door from crimes to sentencing. ( compared to other states)

Let the Berreth family begin the healing that will surely take their own lifetime on this earth. May God have mercy on them
