I'm new to WS, so I'm not sure if I've linked this properly and/or if this question is relevant (since it is about the trial procedure) and in the right place.

Sam Kraemer TV was live.
LIVE: Recapping closing arguments & six guilty verdicts in the murder trial of Patrick Frazee
starting at approximately 38 min.

I'd like to understand why the defense (AS) requested that they (the defense) be notified if the jury requested to see video or hear audio more than twice.

@PearlyGirl - welcome to WS -- this was an incredible case to follow and 68 threads later we're still here!

I think AS wanted a "heads up" if the jury wanted to review those pieces of evidence more than twice to judge the deliberation. Maybe he was trying to gauge if they would reach a verdict on Monday afternoon or return to deliberate on Tuesday (i.e, not a slam dunk decision). AS may have been tasked with having to tell the Sheriff whether or not to return PF to the jail sooner than later as it appears that PF was kept in a holding room at the courthouse.

EXCLUSIVE: Woodland Park Police Chief opens up on helping solve Kelsey Berreth’s disappearance

Video Interview at link

Nov 19, 2019

More than 40 agencies from across the nation helped in this investigation.

“I have no ego when it comes to asking for help, I don’t have the resources at this agency, we have a lot of good things going for us but I can’t handle a case that’s this cold of this magnitude with no evidence of a body or crime scene when we initially took it on,” De Young said.

De Young and his department worked long hours to make sure the Berreht family got the closure it deserved.

[...]

De Young was there for every press conference and even sat through part of Frazee’s trial.

“The hardest part about this case was Kaylee and knowing she was with Patrick and knowing the testimony of Krystal Lee and what had occurred, and Kaylee was present when her mother died and hoping nothing bad would happen to Kaylee,” De Young said.

[...]

Frazee is being held at the Teller County Jail; the Department of Corrections will most likely take him following a custody hearing on December 5. bbm
It was the reporter's opinion that PF would most likely be taken by DOC following a previously scheduled custody hearing on Dec 5, 2019.

The more I thought about this, I don't know if DOC will delay taking PF into their custody since I think he's been attending the hearings by phone-- which he can do from any location. MOO

If he stays in Colorado, there are quite a few prisons 63 miles right down the road from ma to travel to to visit him. About the same distance that Kelsey had to travel for work in Pueblo. Source of map: Google Maps

That city is Canon City, Colorado, and it is described on the Prison Valley website as: A town in the middle of nowhere with 36,000 souls and 13 prisons, one of which is Supermax, the new 'Alcatraz' of America.

ETA- just when I thought I was going to have a break and get some things done in real life I see the header that the mark Sievers trial is starting! Livestream! Heading over there and for those that want to join another trial, see you there. Opening statements today Mark Sievers Livestream Trial Thread - Day 1

Sam absolutely believes that KK is well aware of the public disdain for her.

He spoke to her friends.

Those prison notes seem to support her fear of PF.

Were you expecting such a quick verdict? What was your opinion of the jury?

Jury was very focused and asked good questions.

Sam thought it would be a very quick verdict (1 hour) or would go into today. Definitely over by Wednesday though.

Would Sam write a book on the case?

He doesn’t know. Wouldn’t feel good about profiting off of it.

Sam heard from another reporter that KK looked over at PF briefly when the attorneys approached the bench. Didn’t get the impression she still had feelings for PF.

Thank you for your notes from Sam. I didn't get to be here so it's greatly appreciated.

PF also had the ranch hands cover up the burn area or scorched earth, and I believe that was part of the elk horn alibi.

Also, we learned yesterday that Investigators are still looking for KB's remains including searching old abandoned mining shafts -- of which there are many in Colorado. MOO
Gut and instinct tells me he most certainly had the ash materials discarded in the river. So unless a large enough piece of bone were discarded, I really think it unlikely they will ever find Kelsey. PF couldn't touch her soul though. It will never vanish.

Interesting video....don't think this was talked about/addressed in court.

EXCLUSIVE: Witness in Frazee trial speaks out

Frazee had come into the Verizon store days before he spoke with the witness, asking another employee for a new cellphone because the FBI took his old phone.

While one employee was getting a new phone for Frazee, another employee overheard Frazee saying some alarming words.

“Apparently, he was rocking back and forth and was loudly whispering to himself I didn’t do it, I didn’t do it, I didn’t do it… over and over just over and over again,” the employee explained.

Omgosh! How scary is that? No wonder the employee went to the bathroom to Google!

Thank you @GoJacks for attending and your most excellent reports!

So wish that all the women on this thread could get French manicures, then send PF a group photo of us flipping him the middle finger with our shiny white tipped nails.

A girl’s gotta dream!

Lol...love that thought..

I guess my question to him would be ... then how did it happen, Clint? Out of curiosity. Look, I get this can be shocking for the guy to grasp, but c’mon. He can believe and tell himself whatever he needs to. In the meantime, the remainder of the world (and reality) moves on.

Will the DA in this case post/dump any evidence records online like in other cases?

In the notes above from Sam done by @MassGuy, he said they may/will happen after KKL sentencing, and that the judge and the police would be involved in that decision possibly. MOO

I’m trying to figure out why he would want information that was on KB’s phone. He had her phone before he gave it to KK, and he was purposely creating fake text messages and had time to take what he needed from the phone.

From the article:
The employee who worked at a Verizon store said Frazee asked him strange questions about Berreth’s phone.

“He asked if the other phone on his account if it was destroyed if it would be able to get information off of it and it wasn’t done in a normal circumstance,” said the Verizon employee.

When he says that it's not the way I saw it happening, perhaps he knows more. You know how folks tell a little bit of Truth in what they say when they are trying to mislead people? Perhaps he knows other people that were involved or more to the story?

For whatever reason he feels in"Cline"d to speak to the media.
