Closed hearing as per usual in this case. Cheryl and Darrell Berreth are here in person today. This is the first time Cheryl has seen #PatrickFrazee since the trial. From my angle it seemed as though she could not bring herself to look at him. My heart goes out to them always.

I'm guessing he's been mad most of his miserable life. Looks like he cut himself shaving his neck this morning? Unfortunately, it wasn't with one of those old style barber's razor!

"The sentence you hear in the courtroom ought to be the sentence somebody receives in their case," May said.

May says he now plans to go before the state Legislature to fight for tougher truth in sentencing laws.
