Does KK get some sort of witness protection since PF threatened to have her killed? He has nothing left to lose.
I know his last attempt didn’t succeed, but she must be terrified someone five years, or ten years down the road will be doing his bidding???? He has killed before, so I imagine his desire to kill her is very serious.

Wonder if Ma schlepped into Cripple Creek in her size 12 men's tennies for this hearing, too.
I wonder if PF's sister is there? We sure haven't seen hide or hair from her since it was found out she made Kelsey go out on the deck when she was there.

Doesn't he almost seem barefoot?

Here’s a quick look at #PatrickFrazee going into the courthouse this morning. He wouldn’t comment ahead today’s hearing.
Looks like some pretty, pink crocs to me... to match his pink handcuffs, perhaps? I'll bet KKL has a matching set now, too. Such a style trendsetter, that PF.

Frazee and Berreth families in court for custody battle

Jan 31, 2020

Updated: Jan 31, 2020 / 05:44 PM MST

TELLER COUNTY, Colo. — Convicted killer Patrick Frazee met with his victim’s parents Friday to discuss the custody of the daughter he shared with Kelsey Berreth.

[..]

Friday was the first time Cheryl Berreth, Kelsey’s mother, laid eyes on Frazee since the beginning of the trial. The Berreths sat in the far left side of the courtroom while Frazee sat on the opposite side, usually reserved for jurors. According to the Victim Impact Statement, the Berreths who have kept Kaylee since Frazee’s arrest, want full custody of the child through adoption.

Sheila Frazee, Patrick’s mother, who is also fighting for custody, sat in the second row. She and her son made eye contact multiple times. Erin Frazee, Patrick’s sister, was not present in the courtroom, but wanted to hear the proceedings over the phone.

[..]

Within two minutes of the custody hearing getting underway, a motion was filed for all media and the public to leave the courtroom. The final decision was not made public.

PF sister phoned in for the hearing. The decision was not made public.
I don't need to actually hear or read the decision. Common sense alone tells me what that decision is. PF will never be a free man. SF may still face charges. Besides, it is painfully obvious she is in no condition to take care of an active toddler. And the sister? Heck, she couldn't even make it to the hearing.

Case closed! Little K is safely in the arms of those who deserve to have her. MOO

Wow! I’ve been too busy to follow. But so pleasantly surprised she got three years! I didn’t have a lot of hope she’d get more than 18 months.

Was she taken into custody right away? Any link to the judge’s comments at sentencing?
Well, you were right. Dan May said that her sentence is automatically cut in half on the day she is incarcerated, and she can cut more off through good behaviour.

The first paragraph of that article is so misleading.

TELLER COUNTY, Colo. — Convicted killer Patrick Frazee met with his victim’s parents Friday to discuss the custody of the daughter he shared with.....

That lead-in makes it sound like a typical meeting and conversation, not the court case it truly is.

It's a shame that full sentence when submitting a plea deal can't be enforced.

Yas thankful this is over for the berreths now they can focus on giving babygirl the best life ever. Where did they send Idaho to and did they leave Idaho as male

well didn't idaho have a bad attitude previously in jail? Maybe she won't get any more credit than she doesn't already deserve.

Why cannot all three people form that heinous family leave that child be? Why on earth do they think they have any business being around that sweet baby? They should be too ashamed to show their faces let alone continue to claim this child whose mother they all treated horribly at best.

Why the government spent money to hall Frazee into family court for the hearing I'll never understand.

Consider that a number of guards had to be paid for the day and probably three cars driven for a protective motorcade and for what?

He had nothing to offer at the hearing. He's never going to spend a single day with Baby K and has nothing to offer monetarily for her care.

It was just a fresh air day for him and I resent that, don't all of you?

Dateline will have a new 2 hour episode on Friday. If you recall, the first one was a 1 hour special.

I haven’t seen a teaser posted yet, but I sure hope Clint makes an appearance. Hopefully we find out how crow tastes.

So - even though it hasn't been publicized - the Berreth's got "permanent' custody of the little girl?

TIA! Just want to get my notes in order - and throw this case into - DONE! :D

Sure looks that way. It was always a foregone conclusion. Close the book.

There would have been a mutiny and nationwide protests if the Berreth's hadn't been given permanent custody of that sweet baby girl.
