Hopefully, this Dateline won't be like the last one, just a rehash of past interviews.

If we have to live through another round of Patrick's made-up stories about Kelsey, I don't think I can take it.

Surely Dateline will have some new footage and a narrative that speaks the truth about Frazee and his sidepiece, perhaps pointing out how the family treated Kelsey.

Not to beat a dead horse but I sure would love to see an Ann Rule book about this case. (RIP, Ann.)
Is there anyone out there writing true crime books with that kind of depth and accuracy?

Well, if KK wasn’t known for her horrific part in this nationally, she is now. Justice.

'Part of me wants to strangle her. Part of me wants to hug her': Family of Kelsey Berreth open up about their anger and grief in Dateline special and say they are pleased Patrick Frazee's girlfriend fessed up

During the two-hour broadcast, Berreth's uncle Scott Morin opens up about Kenney, telling NBC News' Andrea Canning: 'Part of me wants to strangle her. Part of me wants to hug her… she could've stopped this from happening altogether, and for that, I wanna choke her.

'But she finally fessed up. And for that, I wanna hug her. And thank her,' he adds.

Kenney was slammed as 'cold, calculating and devoid of any compassion' as she was sentenced last week to three years for aiding Frazee in covering up the crime.

The upcoming 'Dateline' episode is named 'Devil's Bargain' after El Paso District Attorney Dan May described Kenney's controversial plea deal as a 'deal with the devil'.

'We never wanted to let her down': Meet the investigators who helped solve Kelsey Berreth's murder
[...]

9NEWS Reporter Jennifer Meckles was there for all 15 days of Frazee’s trial, and she sat down with Colorado Bureau of Investigation agents Gregg Slater and Chris Adams (formerly of the Woodland Park Police Department) to discuss Berreth’s disappearance and what they want the public to focus on in the aftermath of a crime that has drawn national attention.

[...]

Slater: For me, it was interesting as we started getting into the investigation, we were contacting people who knew Patrick, it was interesting how nobody had seen Kelsey, nobody had known Kelsey as an individual. They had seen her through Patrick.

That was a complete contrast to what Cheryl was telling us about Kelsey, so it was kind of a unique thing. It was really interesting, you really started to get a flavor for Patrick. We never got to talk to him.

Luckily, the first Woodland Park officer to take the call with Patrick had the wherewithal to record the conversation, memorialize it.

During that call, he’s not raising any concern whatsoever, even though he’s claiming this relationship was over. It’s just not sitting right with me that he’s not trying to find out where the mother of his child is. That was odd to me.

[...]

Slater: Despite what we think, everybody’s going to draw their own opinions on Krystal.

Krystal told us about how Kelsey had been beaten and burned and … in my mind I’m formulating ‘hopefully she knows where she’s at, how are we going to get search and rescue?’ I’m hoping we’re going to find the body, and when she tells us she’s burned I thought ‘how do I tell [Kelsey’s mother]?

How do you tell a mother and father that your daughter’s been burned? It’s hard to tell a parent, it’s hard to tell a loved one that their parent, or daughter or son had been murdered but to tell them this happened? I couldn’t do it.

I'm watching the Dateline special right now.
Lots of new interviews.
Anybody else here watching it right now?

Oh, CRUD.
They just showed a clip of Clint.
I thought we'd heard the last of that Crow-Eater.

Yes.
I don’t like that they allowed him to do that.
He is shameful.

PF and his creep “smile” are repulsive, also.

Lovely Kelsey, rest in peace.

"Krystal would give you the shirt off her back..."
Yeah and then smother you to death with it...

Please spare me the Krystal has such great character witness, thanks Dateline.

I really hope one day they find Kelsey so she can be put to rest and they could mourn properly.

MOO is they most likely were sold to pay bills.
I said yesterday, “Mama sold ‘em”, but since I stated as fact, my post was deleted. It’s JMO.
That was my first thought -- that he may have sold those 2 horses even though they weren't his. Needed money, so why not? Nobody will know. He's already in much worse trouble -- what's grand larceny compared to a possible murder charge? If that's what he did, of course. And the poor woman who boarded them at his ranch -- probably beside herself hoping her horses are in good care. One more mean bad thing, IMO, that he did with no care that he was that hurting someone else. Jmoo.

It just came on at 10 EST where I am. So far I’ve noticed the towels hanging on the kitchen window. Weird. If they were there when the Berreths came to the condo, that should have been an instant red flag.

Rest assured the nursing license is a past issue. Never again to work as a licensed nurse.

>>>> RSBM <<<<

However, there are many health care positions that do not require a nursing license.
Thanks much, @woundwarrior, for the info.
The Board doesn't mess around, does it?! Nor should it. Good info to know.

Thoughts on that Dateline episode:

Clint isn’t going to “eat crow,” unless someone shoves it down his throat. Even now he refuses to see the truth.

The jurors expressed the same sentiments as we did. KK could have stopped this, and was holding back on details that wouldn’t show her in a favorable light.

I wish they had aired more of the interview with the jurors. I guess the amount of time it took them to reach the verdict (3 hours), says it’s all. Slam dunk.

We knew that though.
