He's hoping that by denying they were even dating it will buy him some time and if they never find Kelsie's body he can stay out of jail. Maybe he believes they won't ever charge him with no body, but some cases have been prosecuted successfully with no body. It's very difficult without a lot of other evidence, but it can happen.

There is no doubt in my mind he knows what happened and I don't think he cares. Her parents said Kelsie texted DL's Mom a photo of the ultrasound photo, I just have a feeling that might have set him off because it was unplanned pregnancy and he was going to talk Kelsie into not keeping it. I think Kelsie might have told his Mom without discussing with him first and from what I have seen his family is religious. I think an argument has occurred due to this pregnancy and something terrible has happened and he has now dumped her body somewhere (I wish we knew where). He was pretending to be her on her cell phone after she disappeared and has not co-operated with LE, this is not the type of person that is worried about his girlfriend and his unborn child. IMO only

Spamelope, I hope they move forward and charge him soon too. Waiting for that day.

I'm hoping somehow there can be a different outcome, but I know that's unlikely. I wish Kelsie's case would get the same type of national media attention Jessie's did.

I missed the rain yesterday, not by much though-streets were still wet. I got here fine. Was hoping we could of had a miracle when I logged on this am. No such luck......Prayers for kelsie

Glad you had a safe trip! You didn't miss today's rain lol. I'm loving this. Woodland Park got a foot of snow. I just hope the Waldo burn area doesn't get too much moisture. I had fliers made yesterday, and DD and I went around South Side getting businesses to put them up. It was amazing to me that the Starbucks across the street from Wal-Mart didn't know Kelsie's story! Some of the places are chains, and can't put things in their windows, but even those folks said that they would put them somewhere in the store where people could see the flyer. Everyone was extremely nice and very concerned about Kelsie. It warmed my heart to see how many thoughtful, caring people are in my neighborhood.

Ugh, rain, it was 85 yesterday when I left TX. Didn't bring winter clothes......brr

Thanks, Leigh, but it really wasn't awesome-I'm a mom, and I would hope someone would do it for my daughter if something like this happened to her. I'd like to add that one place about 3 miles from Wal-Mart told me the police had asked about Kelsie back in Feb. So it does look like they were thorough. I ran out of fliers today, so my neighbor made more. How sweet was that?

Thanks, Dylan'sMom! I kinda doubt that would be our Kelsie. Looking at the map, he would have had to have gone past a whole lot of wide open spaces just to put her in a town, which would seem risky. Unless she was in the Arkansas, which in Feb. was really low. It's going to be raging now with spring runoff. There are a lot of huge farms there-Rocky Ford Cantaloupe is grown near there. I feel so sorry for Kelsie's poor family. Every time something like this happens, ie a body found, they have to go through a fresh new hell.

I never know when they find "a body" if it's really just remains. There's a huge difference, but they keep that info to themselves until they know more. I guess I think they should tell us everything they know, when they know it...eeek!

"The Otero County Sheriff's Office reported they found a body in the area of County Road 24 and County Road Z, southwest of Swink, at about 9 a.m. Saturday morning."

This UI was found southwest of the town of Swink, so it isn't possible that this UI would have been in the Arkansas River, and traveled in the river to where this UI was found, as the Arkansas is north of this area. I think it is plausible that it could be her, only because it is not unheard of for a perp to drive an hour or so away from where they originally were. And with this area being more secluded than Pueblo, it is plausible to me, but hoping it isn't her, and hoping she is alive and will be found soon. Prayers to Kelsie and her family and friends.
